Hyrax - Exemplary! Professional service, care and outstanding communication.
Pre-travel: I researched on Google and Safaribookings before planning my trip. After reviewing many options, I chose Hyrax, and it was a fantastic decision! Shout out to Irene! She provided prompt responses, customized planning, and thorough care, answering all my travel questions.
Safari: Brian, our safari guide, was very knowledgeable about the landscape and super friendly. We were lucky to have Edwin, an amazing and down-to-earth safari guide, join us. I stayed at the Ashnil Mara Camp, which was excellent! Brian and Edwin shared fascinating insights about the animals and their behaviors, taking great care of us throughout the tour. Everything was professionally handled!
Travel tips:
1. It is very safe. I had some nerves seeing photos on Google and being in an open Land Cruiser in the jungle, but as long as you stay inside the van and follow your guide's directions, it is very safe!
2. Always go with a trusted travel agency. If it's your first time, I highly recommend Hyrax. You'll receive professional advice with no hidden costs.

My friends and I experienced a wonderful and unforgettable trip to Africa organized by Roselyne of Hyrax Safaris.
Hyrax Safaris worked with us to create an amazing itinerary! It was a perfect blend and mixture of adventure, relaxation and cultural immersion. We traveled to several destinations and each of the accommodations and excursions were perfect. The safaris were outstanding and breathtaking! The tour guides (Tony and Joshua) were extremely knowledgeable about the destinations we visited; they offered insightful information about the local culture, wildlife, and history. Their personality and enthusiasm truly enhanced our experience.

Perfect
I'm so glad that I chose Hyrax Safaris agency. The Driver Johnny was very professional with amazing driving skills. We had the chance to see the all the animals except one. Also, Ms. Irenne was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Highly recommended.

Excellent and accommodating
We were very happy and satisfied with the services provided by Hyrax Safaris to our small 3 person group.
Irene, the associate working with us, was extremely responsive to all our queries regarding the safari booking and was a real help in our decision to go with Hyrax.
Sammy, our driver and guide throughout the 6 day Safari was fantastic. Right from the pickup at the airport to the pit stops and picnic lunches on the road, and making sure that we had amazing wildlife sightings all the time.
Very calm and good natured all the way, and answered all our small queries, making sure to drop us off safely at the airport at the end of our very exhilarating trip.
Will definitely recommend this agency , overall it was great value for money.

Great me patience. Abdul was the greatest your guide. Saw the big 5 and so much more. This was my first safari and I was greatly satisfied with Hyrax Safari. Our driver and tour guide, Harun, was absolutely spectacular. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the trip. His keen eye for spotting wildlife was impressive, and he made every effort to help us find even the most elusive animals. Additionally, Harun always kept us informed of the day’s plans and adjusted them seamlessly based on weather, timing, and other factors.

Good hiking trip
I did the Mount Kenya 4 day hiking trip with Hyrax safaris. My guide Daniel was excellent and the hike was really enjoyable. I had a great time and always felt we were being looked after by Daniel and the rest of the team. The views were excellent and scenery was well worth the trip.

Excellent service and value for money
Our experience with Hyrax Safaris was quite enjoyable. Ever since we got in contact with Irene, she has been helpful and informative and this has been the case over our months-long communication. Thanks to Irene, everything was well considered and organized before our arrival.
We were extremely lucky to have Paul as our guide during our two safaris and marveled at his encyclopedic knowledge about the wildlife. Punctual, patient, considerate and hardworking, he prioritized our needs all the time and adapted to variable circumstances in an agile and flexible manner. During our whole trip, we’ve felt well taken care of and secure. The days we spent in Kenya are a reminder as to how important it is to forge a strong bond with nature even in the midst of our hectic urban life. An unforgettable experience to be treasured forever.

Value for money, great experience
It was our first safari and we loved it. We got to see 2 parks got the most perfect 4x4 and our driver and guide was really awesome! Brian delivered and had a big network so we could see tons of animals.
Our lodge was fine and overall had a great experience.
