Great company, great guide, great experience.
Everything was organized very well - the accommodation, food, guiding and vehicles.
Shaheen is a great guy and a great organizer - and can accommodate all requests, really. I did an extended safari, with two extra days of a private tour. Safari cars they are using are proper, open, elevated trucks so you can expect good views all around. Our guide, Arun, was also a good guy, really trying to get the most of each drive, looking for all the animals - especially the elusive cats.
All in all, we've managed to see the Big 5 and a lot more besides, visiting 3 camps over 7 days. I also did a great extension trip via the Panorama Route on my way back to Joburg. Also recommended!

Best Safari Experience at Kruger National Park
I went on full day safaris with Legend Safari with Edwin each day. I never thought I would see so many animals every day. There was never a dull moment and the time at Kruger was one of the best experiences of my life, thanks to Legend Safari. They took care of absolutely everything so I could focus on enjoying my time there 100% stress-free. The service was A+ and the experience more than lived up to my expectations!
Our guide, Edwin, was an amazing driver, animal spotter, and cook. You should rely on your guide's experience and try not to fixate on trying to spot specific animals at specific times. They have a network of communication and share insights about current sightings.
My experience at Kruger would not have been as enjoyable without the services of Legend Safari, or tried to navigate myself. If you are considering going to Kruger, don't pass on the opportunity to be catered to by this company. You get so much more time to enjoy yourself when you let them take care of the details.

We just got back from a 7-Day Big 5 African Safari in Kruger National Park, and had the trip of a lifetime! We booked our trip with Legend Safaris and couldn’t have been more pleased - Excellent! Shaheen, Legend Safaris owner, made everything seamless from start to finish. Legend excels at customer service and puts the customer first, whether it’s a day trip or one of the many safari packages they offer. Shaheen worked tirelessly to ensure our experience was exactly what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. He also got back to me immediately regarding any questions I had, and that is appreciated when booking on-line.
Our Safari guide and host, Edwin, was also great. Edwin is an experienced guide who shares his expertise, knowledge and his stories made for endless laughs. We learned so much about the animals, the plants, the park itself, and felt safe while getting up close and personal with wildlife. We explored the park in an open vehicle, and Edwin knew where to find the Big 5 and how to navigate the vehicle for optimal viewing. Edwin also proved himself to be an incredible cook and host preparing delicious dinners after a full day of experiencing the park. Legend provided transportation to and from Johannesburg in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. The lodging accommodations were also comfortable, clean and carefully chosen to show us the park’s different areas and terrains. We saw all the Big 5 at Kruger and would highly recommend Legend Safaris for your next travel adventure. On a scale of 1 - 5, we rate them a 10! Unforgettable Safari
Amazing experience.
When booking, Shaheen was very kind and professional in organising the tour according to our needs (arranging also the pickup from our hotel).
Arun, the guide, then made our safari unforgettable. He satisfied any curiosity about animals and wildlife in the park. His knowledge about bush’s life and animals is outstanding. Thanks to Arun, we spotted a number of animals, even the rare black rhino!!! The tour was absolutely exciting and at the same time relaxing.

Amazing custom-built 7 nights Kruger National Park safari + Panorama Route and Maputo, Mozambique da
Our small group of 6 had an amazing 7 nights custom-built safari in Kruger National Park, Panorama Route tour and Maputo, Mozambique day tour, all organized personally by Shaheen Patel/ Legend Safaris. We must have exchanged over 100 emails, since I am experienced safari traveler and I had lots of requirements regarding itinerary, game drives timing etc.
Every aspect of the trip and each little detailed have been meticulously planned and executed - starting from the pick up at O. R Tambo airport in Johannesburg and the transfer to Kruger NP, the safari itself, the Panorama Route tour, the day tour to Maputo, Mozambique and the transfer back to O. R. Tambo airport (with short tours of Pretoria and Johannesburg).
We covered almost the entire park starting from Crocodile Bridge Gate in the South and reaching Crook's Corner to the North. Legend Safaris provided their excellent open-sided safari vehicle along with a trailer for the baggage for the transfers between the various rest camps.
Edwin was an excellent safari guide (trust me, I have seen many). Great spotter with a wide knowledge about all species of animals and birds, I mean - all. The sightings were too many to list, but just to mention a few - we saw the only white male lion in the park (spent about an hour with him and his two "normal" brothers), other lions every day, including large males and cubs with a kill, 4 different leopard sightings, pack of wild dogs, many raptors and water birds, as well as lots of small birds. All of the Big 5 in the first three days of the safari...
I would recommend the services of Legend Safaris and the guide Edwin without any hesitation to anyone wishing to experience top safari at an affordable price.

No regrets!!
The communication prior to the trip was regular and informative. This lead to all our expectations and needs been met. The operator ensured that all our requests were fulfilled, even the fussiest of ones. All aspects of the trip were met beyond expectations I.e. meals were lovely, safari drives were awesome (in most cases breathtaking), ranger and tracker were amazing. On the whole the operators provided us with a 5 star experience!

The best experience!!!!
it was our first experience in South Africa and we loved it!! All the animals!! We saw a lot of elephants, girafe, buffalo, leopard, hipo, lionese, cocodriles, gurú, and other animals that we didn’t know exist! It was a beautiful experience!! Really good service of the guide!!!!!!!
