Super punctual and responsible.
He explained the weekly itinerary but was flexible on the safari when it came to organising times or taking us to see particular animals. He tried to avoid crowds of cars, which is very much appreciated as it is more enjoyable when you don't see other cars. He was flexible to give us time to admire the animals as much as we wanted. He was always more than punctual, arriving early for pick-up and respectful and tolerant of my slowness in the mornings. In the end it felt like being in the family with him.

Fantastic tour company, nothing was too much trouble for them.
This was our first full safari and we could not have picked a better company. They replied very quickly to all my queries and tailored the tour to suit our arrival and departure requests. They even re-arranged our onward flights that had been cancelled by the airline. Our safari guide was Amos and he was brilliant at spotting all forms of wildlife, we saw all the big five and so much more, and often at very close range. His knowlege was incredible as was his attention to detail.
There was nothing to fault throughout the entire trip and we would highly recommend Safari 360 to anyone.

unforgettable days
We visited Tarangiri, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. Everything was perfect: animals were quite easy to see, we we've been taken face to fece with lions, leopards, elephants, hyppos and so on. The car was very confortable for a couple, like us. Our guide, Rashid, deserves a special praise: he was very careful for any need of us, very professional in spotting animals without disturbing them, and never tired, even after driving for hours on gravel. All accomodations were even better than we expected, with confortable rooms, tasty and never repetitive food, and very professional staffs.

Most amazing experience
My wife and I went on a nine day safari with Safari 360, from Sep 16 to Sep 24, 2023. I will say upfront that this was the best vacation we ever had, by far. And please take this from someone who visited more than 40 countries, including China, Japan and vast natural areas of USA and Europe.
There were two key ingredients to having this amazing experience: the sheer beauty of Tanzania and the very professional services of Safari 360.
Let's start with the first. Each place we visited was unique and each day spent among the wildlife felt us disconnect from the mundane problems of our lives and appreciate how incredibly diverse and wonderful nature is. There is nothing you can compare seeing the great migration to. Or seeing juvenile cheetahs learning from their mother how to hunt an antelope. Or the amazing display of water buffalos, gazing at the Ngorongoro highlands, next from a school of hippos and some lazy hyenas. Not to mention all the lions and the leopards.
The second ingredient was the company we hired, Safari 360, and especially Edwin, who is a fantastic guide, teaching us so many things. His sense of humour, kindness and honesty made us feel like we were travelling alongside an old friend.
We wish to return one day to Tanzania and to explore more unique places together with Safari 360 and Edwin.
The accommodations, the food and the itinerary have exceeded our expectations. Literally, every place we stayed at delivered to its promises, even if they mid-range accommodations. Especially the quality of the food everywhere was surprisingly good, despite the remote locations of many of these camps. Petro Kazi, the owner, was very transparent during the entire process of crafting the itinerary, such that we get to see all the important places, while not spending money on rather useless experiences, such as night safari or walking safari, which are just hyped options, but with close to none chances of making you see something truly amazing.
I must confess that in the beginning I felt a bit unsure about how safe it would be us to book a tour directly with a small local company. But it turned out this is just fine. For us, as Europeans, and for other western-culture countries, this may not seem the safest bet, but our experience was literally perfect. And we paid for this a lower price than of we would have contracted one of the larger firms, who have European-based offices.
I was also very positively impressed by the people we met throughout the safari. They are happy and, despite the hardship, have a very good vibe.
And now, key recommendations and facts from our journey. Most important: try to book a private tour if you're a couple. It's so important to have a lot of space around you when you stay 9-10 hours in a car every day, for 9 days in a row. And you have way much freedom to turn around and look for animals in all directions through the pop-up roof.
Must do: Go up to Northern Serengeti, to see the great migration. We saw three massive crossings of the Mara River in one day. Visit the Hadzabe, Datoga and Masaai tribes. Especially the Hadzabe, one of the last tribes of hunter-gatherers in the world. Visit Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater. It's also good to spend one day before the safari in Arusha, like we did, to make sure you have some time to wind down after the long flight.
The only lowlights of the trip was the rather scarce number of animals from Lake Manyara reservation and the fact that we didn't see any rhino, despite spending 9 days looking for them. Seems they are still in pretty low numbers and unless you go to a special kind of reservation just for rhinos, there's little chance to see one in Serengeti or Ngorongoro. Also, the season influences their behavior and in September they are still mostly in the forests of Ngorongoro, rather than in the plain field.
Last but not least, some feedback to the feedback I read on the Internet before our safari. The overall level of danger is minimal, for any type of danger you may think of. You don't need any vaccine if you go directly from Europe to Tanzania, it's fine to have some malaria pills with you, but the chances of needing them are probably 1 in 1000. There were less than 50 tzetze flies around us during the entire trip and it's only 1 in 10.000 that carries the malaria virus. You calculate the odds. The food is very good and more than enough. I was reading reviews from folks saying that it wasn't up to the price they paid for. Let me remind such people that in a safari you pay 3-400 USD per room per night for a mid-range because of its remoteness and scarcity of accommodation places. You can't expect oysters and 100 hotels next to each other in Serengeti, because then there would no longer be anything special about that place. It would turn into a tourist resort. Same story for the quality of the bathroom etc. Still, we had really hot water every evening, some bathroom had even two sinks. What more can you ask in the middle of nowhere?
I will end my review by saying once again that this was the best experience of our lives and we hardly imagine something exceeding it. Maybe a visit to Papua New Guinea and then Borneo, both during the same trip.
And many thanks again to Edwin from Safari 360, our expert guide who helped us enjoy every second of this journey.

The Experience of a Lifetime with Safari360!
From our first contact with Petro, planning our safari, all of our needs were met with enthusiasm and excellent service! I selected Safari360 based on many, many reviews and my interaction with Petro. He took care of all of the details and provided a thorough quotation package. We are so happy with our selection! Quite honestly, it was more about the people and experience than the cost.
We spent six days with our specialist, Iddy exploring the Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater National Parks. Iddy is much more than a driver; he navigated the bumpy dirt roads with great skill, all while searching the horizon for animals and listening to the radio for sightings. He has many years of experience, as well as an education in, and passion for the animals and their environment. We were so blessed by his easy-going manner, patience, knowledge of the parks, and desire to teach us about the wildlife we were seeing. We did see the Big 5, even though the black rhinos are quite elusive. Once Iddy knew where one was located, he got us there and waited patiently, scanning the tall grass until he spotted it for us. He related facts about the size and weight, length of pregnancy, herding, eating, and mating habits, and much more about each animal and bird we saw. He could even identify the surrounding plants and trees. We were surprised by how close we could get to many of the animals, especially the lions and leopard, who were unconcerned by our presence. Watching two little lion cubs play while their mama lay in the grass nearby was a highlight, as was the leopard, satisfied after a big meal, resting in a tree.
We felt completely safe with Iddy and trusted his assessment of every situation. Iddy kept the truck clean and running well so we could spend the most time possible enjoying the parks. The trucks have electrical and usb charging stations for your phones and cameras, and the onboard fridge was always full of cold water bottles.
The camps selected by Safari360 were great! Many had in ground pools, which were nice after a hot and dusty day. The meals at each camp were quite good, as were the box lunches. The staff at the camps were very welcoming and eager to please. The Kon Tiki tented camp in the Serengeti was our favorite. Once we were zipped into our tent at night, we could hear the lions snarling nearby and elephants breaking tree branches for a midnight snack.
We had well planned stops for the restroom, lunch and a little shopping. Then, much too soon, it was time to say, “See you soon.” We have shared our pictures and stories with everyone who will listen and encourage them all to plan a trip with Safari360 and our new friend Iddy.

An amazing safari adventure
We shared a fabulous five day Safari with Rashid, who made sure that we were wowed at every turn with a huge array of wonderful wildlife, supported by his expert stories and knowledge of the local area, people, and the wildlife that we saw in all three National parks and conservation areas. We would highly recommend Rashid and Safari 360.

Highly recommend Safari 360 for a personalized Tanzania Safari
Planning:
Safari 360's support with planning the safari was excellent.
Petro Kazi did a fantastic job in supporting us with planning and booking our Safari which brought us to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. He listened very well to our wishes and patiently amended the schedule step by step to make it perfect for us. Even though our flight schedule changed, he found a proper solution again and went the extra mile to make the offer perfect again so that we accepted it.
Execution:
Iddi, our driver, was simply the best driver that we could ever imagine! He gave us a warm welcome at the airport and then went with us straight to our first game drive on the day of arrival. Iddi not only proved to be extremely savvy in wildlife and biology, he also spotted the animals effortlessly, long before we would see them. He was connected well to the network of safari drivers during our game drives, so he always knew where to find the next spectacular scenes. We learned so much from him not only about the animals and the parks but also about the culture and the people in Tanzania. His driving skills proved exceptional, as he always knew the best roads and he drove us safely through the most challenging passages, including flooded roads, giant potholes, mud puddles (no, lakes!), rivers with hip-deep water, and the worst roads you can imagine. He made the "African massage" comfortable for us and we always felt safe.
We can highly recommend Iddi as a driver! Ask for him when booking.
We would book again!

Above Expectations
Better than my expectations - and I have high expectations!
Bakari is one of the best people I have ever met, you start the safari with him being a stranger, and you end the safari with him being a friend. Asante sana for everything, Bakari. wewe ni mzuri sana!
What an amazing guide, driver & human being! Of course we got to see all 5, and more! He had lots of patience as well with my desire to see as many monkeys as possible hahah. I love monkeys. We had very close encounters with all 5 & he is SO experienced, he just know exactly where to look for these animals. He reads the Serengeti like the palm of his hands. He made us feel so comfortable. We couldn't have wished for a better guide to be honest. This was perfect!! And we would 100% do it again.
Do not hesitate to book Safari 360. They honestly have the best prices, very trustworthy, flexible & transparent.
The accommodations were also AMAZING. Huge thanks as well to the owner, Petro, for everything. You guys are AMAZING. My dream of a Safari in Africa came true & I couldn't have done it with a better company.
Much love & appreciation,
Stef & Rich

Lifelong Memories with Safari360
Overall, the experience was magnificent. From the initial detailed information, to the super-secure payment page used for the deposit and final payment, to how we were greeted at Arusha airport, to the multiple days spent in Tanzania's lush environment amongst the most magnificent animals on earth, to the selection of lodges and camps (special shoutout to Tukaone Serengeti Camps, that's a day I'll never forget), to how reliable and accommodating our guide Boniface was... overall Safari360 made us as a couple fall in love with this experience and the land of Tanzania. We already are thinking about when we can do this again. We've come back home but a piece of us is still somewhere in the Serengeti and I can't stop recommending all my friends to do this, and to do it with Safari360 when they do decide to go on a safari.

Jaw-Dropping
We spent an absolutely amazing week with Rashid. He is such a great driver, handling the "road" supremely well even when others were struggling.
Rashid was also super-knowledgeable about all the wildlife and not only told us what animal / plant we were observing, but embellished it with information which added to our enjoyment.
Our 7 day safari passed in a flash, but we wouldn't hesitate to repeat the experience.
Safari 360 were easy to deal with, and efficient with their communication - we couldn't have asked for a better operator.
Rashid: you're my new brother from another mother. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing your country and passion with us.
