Informative & ressponsive
5/5

We decided to do a somewhat Zim tour hitting Hwange and Vic Falls during the midst of the pandemic and had no idea where to start, what would be open and which activities/ tours would be operating. We were lucky enough to find Off2Africa to do all that work for us. Not only did they have all the updates and correlate all comms, they even suggested their own personal advice when we were left with more than one option (which was lovely to have 'choice' during the pandemic)!

In the end we enjoyed 7 nights split between Hwange and Vic Falls - everything was a 5 star experience. We stayed at the Vic Falls Safari Lodge Island Suites then over to Somalisa in Hwange. What a wonderful trip for us and we will never forget our very special time in the incredible county of Zimbabwe - all possible with the help of Chloe and Off2Africa team!

Fantastic trip to Hwange - Nehimba & Bomani Camps
5/5

A big thank you to the Off2Africa team for the Hwange recommendation and for facilitating our booking at Nehimba and Bomani Camps. Service was prompt, professional and lots of questions were well answered - making sure all our needs were met!

The trip itself was incredible. The camps facilities, meals, activities and staff were of a high standard and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Everything we hoped for and more, it was the trip of a life time!
5/5

Chloe organised a two week road trip around Zimbabwe for us and from the very start accommodated all of our requests. We have two young daughters and the lodges she chose for us were so welcoming to the girls, providing meals at the times we wanted and going the extra mile to keep them entertained. Halfway through the trip our car broke down and Chloe was immediately available helping us change accommodation bookings while we sorted out the car. We've been on safaris in Zambia, Kenya and Tanzania and this was by far the best experience. Thank you Chloe and Off 2 Africa!

We wanted to see animals and Beck Off2Africa made it all happen in the best trip of our lives!
5/5

Going on a safari was something my husband and I had always talked about doing. We finally made it! It was a truly life changing experience! Our trip was perfectly planned and everything went smoothly. Beck had first hand knowledge the National Parks and accommodations where he sent us. We visited Zambezi NP/Victoria Falls, Hwange NP, and Matabo NP. Each experience was unique and the variety added to our overall experience. All our accommodations were first class and the staff were knowledgeable and lovely. All our transfers were arranged; we just showed up and we were looked after. We asked Beck to show us animals and that’s exactly what we got!
Beck even checked in on us along our travels on a regular basis.
For the second half of our trip we toured the Garden Route in S.Africa where we self drove and stayed at first class B and B’s. We experienced the same exemplary service arranged for us by Beck. This part of our trip we enjoyed hiking in the hills and the beaches.
We absolutely recommend Off2Africa.

Great all round service
5/5

We dealt with Beck and Off2Africa who was always timely in his communcations. Everything (nearly - only a minor hiccup with a hotel transfer) went off without a hitch. We were worried given they are local EAs and making payments overseas but we needn't have worried, the money was all there, hotels and activities paid for, taking all the stress out of it.

We spent 2 nights in Bayete (Vic Falls) followed by 4 nights at Robins Camp (Hwange). Both were ideal for what we needed, seeing loads of animals in the process! All transfers arrived on time, when we swapped vehicles to go into and out of the safari park, the vehicles were there waiting.

I'd highly recommend Off2Africa to anyone looking to do a safari. We went mid-range and the price was a lot better than we found with other agents.

Very Professional
4/5

Off2Africa set out their proposals well and offered the re-assurance we required to travel to Zimbabwe. Their itinerary was well balanced with adequate space between activities and their choice of hotel in Victoria Falls and our safari camp very good indeed. A comparison cost between the Off2Africa proposal and a very similar one from Travelbag gave us about £500 saving. On the debit side I was surprised that a representative from the company did not contact us when we arrived to make sure we had actually arrived and to offer advice on attractions other than those we had pre-booked , in particular available restaurants away from our hotel. Also there was a mix up over the transfer arrangements to our safari lodge which delayed our arrival there by some 3 hours. Although we alerted the company through hotel the reception once it became apparent that we had been forgotten and although after a long delay someone, presumably Off2Africa, organised transport no one from the company made direct contact with us. On arrival at the camp there followed the expected blame game between the two managements but as far as I am concerned we paid our considerable fee to Off2Africa and they should have taken control and communicated directly with us. That said they made first class arrangements to transfer us from the safari to Victoria Falls airport to meet an early flight which gave us a much enjoyed full final day looking for animals.

The communication between us and Off2Africa was excellent. They planned our trip around everything that we had requested that we wanted to do and it was extremely well planned. Everyone was friendly and helpful and we felt safe and in good hands the whole time. Very happy with this company.

Our agent, Mana, was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient - a pleasure to deal with!
5/5

Hi Mana and thanks for your email. We loved every minute of our trip La Rochelle was a lovely first stop, we “did” the gardens, loved the orchid house even though not many were in bloom though those that were were spectacular. Nicholas (?), the resident orchid expert (since 1972!) was a fount of knowledge which, for the likes of me, was wonderful as my orchids have to be tough to survive!! Our room was very comfortable (we loved the old world feel of it) and the meals and service were great. Onto Leopard Rock after a leisurely and very beautiful drive and into our spacious and very comfortable room (not one overlooking the gardens as those rooms were being worked on). Sadly, we were the only guests there but were treated like royalty! My husband played golf and I went along for the ride – that course is stunning! It’s not in perfect condition at the moment as – according to our caddy – they are awaiting delivery of new mowers etc. All the staff at Leopard Rock were outstanding, from Claris the front office manager to the waiters and grounds staff, the golf club caddy master and caddy – each and everyone made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble – this alone makes us want to go back! Onto Aberfoyle – the drive there is breathtaking – the road not so great! But we weren’t rushing so it wasn’t too much of a problem. Sadly, again we were the only guests but, once again, were treated like royalty. Special mention must be made of Obert who was receptionist, barman, waiter, maitre d’ and raconteur! He really is excellent!! The young chef there (Rev) cooked the most amazing meals, we liked their system of asking ahead of time what we would like for each meal and at what time – very personalised. Timothy who stepped in to cover for Obert for an afternoon and evening and Morgan the guide were also very pleasant. Our room was beautiful, super comfortable. The only time the weather impacted our stay was on our one full day there as my husband wasn’t able to sample their golf course so we went on a tour of the tea factory instead (fascinating!) followed by a walk to the hydro-electric pumping station close to the lodge. As luck would have it, the generator there had been taken out and sent off for servicing so there was no back- up power for the lodge. Of course a tree or trees fell on ZESA lines somewhere and the power went out on our first night and didn’t come back until the morning that we left!! But such was the service provided by the staff, we barely noticed the lack of power. What an amazingly beautiful part of the world Honde Valley is, it was like being in a totally different country. We were lucky enough too to see a rare Palmnut Vulture, one of a pair who are resident there. Our trip home was, as expected, much wetter but without the gale force winds experienced elsewhere so not too bad at all.
So there you have it – a wonderful trip from start to finish made all the more special by the people who looked after us so well and I include you in there – thank you so much
We look forward to coming back to you to organise our next Zim adventure!
Kind Regards,
Ange and Mitch

Fantastic holiday with outstanding client service.
5/5

The Off2Africa team provided my partner and I with an amazing ten day holiday in Zimbabwe. The highlight was four days at Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge next to Gonarezhou National Park, where we received royal treatment and saw an abundance of big game, including lion, leopard, and countless elephant. Off2Africa also arranged a trip to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge at the end of our trip. Again, the Vic Falls experience and client service were first rate.

Off2Africa could not have made the trip more easy or enjoyable. They went above and beyond to arrange everything for us, including airport transfers, a rental vehicle when needed at short notice and flight bookings too. They took all the hassle out of arranging the itinerary and allowed us just to enjoy the time away. We will be back!
