Unforgettable Experience
This lifetime trip was my graduation gift from my mother and Lappet Faced Safaris facilitated our Safari experience between Kenya and Tanzania to make our trip memorable and unforgettable. Our 6 days Kenya’s “Masai Mara” guide Joseph was very professional. Joseph was punctual, experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent driver. Thank you to Joseph, My mother and I learned to be patient and wait for the right moment to see the behavior on animals in their habitat. We saw and learn a lot about animals in their environment. Our trip was incredible. We can highly recommend Joseph as a tour guide and Lappet Faced Safaris as a reputable company.

Phenomenal Safari Experience
Lappet faced safari provided an excellent safari for the two of us. It was very well planned. Communication with Francisco was excellent. He was very accommodating in terms of arranging payment, which I was worried about due to Covid. The company is very reliable and excellent. The driver Gabriel was truly exceptional, he was always in the right place and time to see all the animals. We saw cheetahs, a black rhino, lions, a leopard, giraffes, hippos including baby hippos and many more. We also saw a family of around 70 elephants including baby elephants and we were the only car surrounded by all the elephants crossing the road! Gabriel also arranged an excellent plan to see sunrise and breakfast with a view in Serengeti Np. Gabriel is an excellent driver, clearly very experienced, kind and easy going. Although we visited several parks which were far away, Gabriel is a very reliable and good driver who got us places quickly and safely. We previously did a safari in Kenya, however, the one in Tanzania with Lappet Faced Safaris was much better.

Great Experience

Awesome safari experience
We did a safari after climbing Kilimanjaro and our experience with Lappet Faced Safaris was just outstanding in every way. The Melia lodge we stayed in were wonderful and in beautiful/unique settings. Our guide, Gabriel was terrific and had amazing vision to spot animals very far away. . . then expertly positioned our vehicle to see them up close!

Amazing Experience
We had such a great experience with lappet faced safaris… Since we got in contact with them to arrange our safari, they did everything they could to fulfill our wishes and needs. They organized everything in detail and guaranteed an amazing experience.
We simply loved everything: from the safari itself, to the lodges we stayed, we came home amazed and planning to return as soon as possible. But we have to say it, what really made this trip so great was our wonderful guide, Aman
He is a real gentleman and one of the most wonderful persons we ever met. He has a deep knowledge about Tanzania, about the animals, about Africa, about life, and he shares it with passion.
He made our safari and our trip much better and it was a great pleasure to learn and to spend all those days with him. More than a guide, he became a friend. When we return, we want him on board again with us, as well of lappet faced safaris.

The crew around the lead guide and the porters were very welcoming from the start and left us with great memories from the trek. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Trip

A wonderful Experience
Charles is THE MAN! A wonderful guide whom is extremely talented at pointing out animals while giving highly detailed naturalist information about all the species we have seen; as well as a top notch driver with no equal able to drive the safari vehicle in even the most troublesome of terrains in order for us to thoroughly enjoy our safari experience and get the best camera shots we could. Charles even helped us identify some of the harder to find organisms such as the Serval Cat, hidden leopards, a badger, Black Rhinos, many many birds and insects and flowers alike; as well as the Lappet Faced Vulutres. My wife and I were part of a 14 person group that Lappet Faced Safaris was easily able to handle, accommodate and entertain while on safari across some of Tanzania’s most beautiful scenery and parks. Francisco took care of all needed logistics of luggage movement as well as helping us to navigate the crazy hectic mess that is Covid testing and park entrance requirements. I highly recommend Lappet Faced Safaris! Tanzania is open! And has the infrastructure for tourism! GO! ENJOY!

There were absolutely no surprises on this trip. Everything went very smoothly as planned. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania and until we boarded our plane to return home, our tour operator was readily available and ensured we were well care for. Even the first night, our tour operator made sure that the hotel would have a late dinner for us as our flight didn't arrive until 10:00 p.m. Our accommodations we're very comfortable and equaled the quality as presented in a brochure. The lodges had beautiful grounds, roomy accommodations and wonderful meals.
Our guide was wonderful and very responsive to our needs. Additionally, it was important to him that we had a great experience. I loved the fact that he always prepared us for the next day's game plan. The game drives were wonderful; but in addition, loved the cultural aspect as well. Meeting the Maasai, Hadzabe and the Datoga tribes was one of the major highlights of the trip. Especially, the opportunity to go hunting with the Hadzabe tribe. It is something not to be missed.
As for the value of this trip, I must say it was very reasonably priced. I really felt we got our money's worth.
I usually read tour reviews of other travelers but typically do not write any myself. However, I chose to this time because I was very pleased with the communication planning the trip as well as the trip itself....got to see the BIG 5!!!

Amazing! Experience of a lifetime
Our safari adventure was truly amazing. We got into the heart of spectacular Tanzania: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara. The animals were all around us. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and came home with fabulous memories and photographs. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. He spotted animals across the wild plains and anticipated our every need. It could not have been a better week!
