The whole trip was impeccably organised and it was a unique travel experience
Federica, is one of the most dynamic, friendly and professional tourist guides we have come across. She did an amazing job into understanding our expectations and organising the most amazing tour so we were able to see the best of what the country has to offer. Service was perfectly adapted to meet our travelling style, from sporty hikes to charming guest houses and exclusive wine tasting and dining in Franschhoek. Timing was impeccably managed, while keeping flexibility for any special request we would have. We were delighted to be able to experience and see so much of the country in such a short but memorable trip. Thank you Shikwaru for making it possible!

Stunning trip around the Rainbow Nation!
My wife and I went to South Africa for our honeymoon. We decided to go with Shikwaru Adventures for a 26-days tour around the country and it was simply amazing! We got to see a big part of the country.
From pickup at the airport to our departure everything was organised. We stayed at amazing lodges or reserves, did stunning game tours (and saw so many animals), whale watching, cultural visits...
Federica (our guide) had a very impressive knowledge of the country and places. We loved the fact that it wasn't all timed, but she let us enjoy it at our own rhythm and pace (and also letting us be alone to celebrate our honeymoon with romantic dinners for example). She was also really reactive and had always a Plan B in case of weather conditions (we couldn't do our planned whale watching because of the weather but she managed to change the schedule and got to do it later on without compromising anything else).
In summary, it was just the perfect honeymoon trip and I highly recommend Shikwaru Adventures! You won't regret it!!

perfect experience to see my countries 123, 124 and 125
after 125b countries moving around , I get a little bit difficult as a tourist
They told me my best option
instead of going by airplane to to go to zimbabwe and from there, they arrange all my transfer s and tours to the nearby countries to Zambia, Botswana
also a nice experience
the hotel they suggested was great, very central located , and colonial style rooms
my friend Lola also made a tour with them and she choose bed and breakfast houses and she was delighted
I am more into the hotel option, but Shikwaru can arrange anything for you

the safari tour: Kruger Park National, I saw all the BIG FIVE on several occasions, sunrises and spectacular sunsets

I was lucky enough to have Ruan and Federica as my guides which turned into friends. Their knowledge of wildlife is top notch as is their enthusiasm to make the trip special. I got to see plenty of wildlife and experience lots of different things. I can honestly say this is one of the best trips I have ever done. Highly recommended.

It was the best vacation ever! A lot of wildlife, perfect guide, good food, beautiful nature...
It was arranged well from the beginning. The communication was exellent. Our guide, Ruan, was the best. We learned a lot about the nature and animals living in South Africa. Every night we had another sleeping accomodation (since we were travelling around) and each time it was very good.
