Best choice for safari and hike
5/5

We did the hike up Mount Meru and a 7 day safari with Godson and his team. We were completely satisfied and can only recommend Godson to everyone! He was also recommended to us and it was definitely the right decision to do the two tours with him. The communication with Godson before the trip went smoothly. He listened to our wishes and put together an individual tour for us. And also our questions he has always answered very reliably and very quickly. We decided for a private safari in tented lodges and would do it exactly the same way again. Godson arranged the accommodations for us and we could not have done better. The lodges were all very clean, the food was great and the staff was very friendly. The accommodation in the Serengeti was especially nice. The location of the tented lodge was gorgeous and you could see the sunrise from your bed! On the safari godson could tell us a lot of background information about the animals and the vegetation in the individual parks. It was really interesting and we could see a lot of animals thanks to his years of experience. The English of godson is really very good. Therefore, the communication was really nice and we learned a lot about the country and animals. Overall it was a wonderful adventure!

The hike on Mount Meru was unforgettable and highly recommended, not least because of our very competent team from Godson. Our guide Alex led us safely to the summit and was able to answer all our questions. Overall, we felt very well taken care of. Great care was taken to ensure that we could acclimatize well and create the best conditions to reach the summit. Once we reached the summit, we were rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise. The food, freshly prepared by our chef every day 3 times a day, was delicious. On the climb we saw many animals. This also made the day of the descent a special day.

Overall, my boyfriend and I can highly recommend Godson Adventure because we didn't feel like we were one client of many, but the tour was perfectly tailored to our individual desires and we had a memorable trip. Godson is very authentic and you can just tell that he enjoys his work and has a very profound knowledge! On the safari and also on the hike it is mostly so that you eat dinner together with the guide. That's why it's really very good to get along and have a good conversation. And so it was with us in any case. We had really good conversations and could learn so many things in general about life in Africa. It was always very entertaining and informative at the same time. Godson is simply a very likeable person and chooses his team accordingly well!

Truly Remarkable Safari Experience -- Worth Every Shilling
5/5

My fiancé and I booked a six-day safari with Godson Adventures. We were extremely excited as this was our first trip to Tanzania and my first time on a safari. Godson Adventures did not disappoint. We had an absolutely incredible experience that I am confident we will remember for many, many years to come. The safari had stops in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Our lodging at every stop had beautiful views and spacious and comfortable accommodations.

Our guide, Edrick, picked us up from a hotel we had been staying at in Moshi after we had completed a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro. The truck was spacious and comfortable and had power outlets, WiFi, and a fridge for food and drinks. After a brief stop in Arusha to meet with Godson and pick up supplies, we began our drive to Tarangire National Park – the first stop on our trip. Within just a few hours of arriving at Tarangire, we saw three of the “Big Five”: elephants, buffalo, and, much to our delight, lions. Our early success in seeing these animals is a testament to the knowledge and expertise of Edrick, who has many years of experience and used to work as a ranger at Ngorongoro Crater (the third stop on our safari). Edrick is a highly-skilled operator who has an extensive network of relationships with other tour guides and park officials and was able to use those relationships to help us locate many animals – not only at Tarangire but also on the other stops on our journey.

After a day or so in Tarangire, we drove to Serengeti. There are no words to capture the beauty and vastness of the Serengeti. While there was something special about each stop on our trip, the Serengeti is a place like no other. The sheer amount of wildlife that you will see warrants spending at least a couple of days here. During our stay, we saw all of the Big Five and many other animals. We were spoiled in that we saw no less than 25 lions, two rhino, two cheetah, two leopard, and too many elephants and buffalo to count. Our highlights in Serengeti included observing (1) a cheetah attempting to hunt a gazelle, (2) two lions stalking a dazzle of zebras, and (3) a group of lions guarding a zebra carcass that they had killed earlier that day from hyenas, vultures, etc. Edrick had an incredible ability to find many of these animals, and often well before the other safari trucks arrived, which made the experience all the more special.

Our third stop was in Ngorongoro Crater. The views from the lodge we stayed in at the top of the crater were truly remarkable and, as with the prior two stops on our trip, we again were treated to an array of wildlife during our drive through the crater. The crater is considerably smaller that Tarangire and Serengeti, but there’s still plenty of animals to see. Our highlight here was watching a pride of lions feasting on a wildebeest, with the hyenas in the distance, waiting for the leftovers.

We concluded our trip with a brief stay in Lake Manyara. Unlike the prior stops, the park here was a bit quieter and far less populated. Even so, we still were able to see many animals – including well over a hundred baboons. This was a nice and peaceful way to end what had been an eventful safari.

Overall, we cannot say enough good things about Godson and Edrick. They were incredibly gracious, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our only regret is that we did not book a longer safari because we were very sad to have to leave Tanzania and come back home. We have recommended Godson Adventures to our family and friends and would recommend them to anyone who is considering a safari in Tanzania. This is a small but growing company and we are confident that under Godson and Edrick’s leadership they will thrive and be successful. We very much look forward to the day that we return to Tanzania for another safari with Godson Adventures.

No words can describe it
5/5

All started with email exchanges with Godson, who was very quick to answer, calm, patient and precise.
He offered us the best package compared to other safaribooking firms, and was very keen to giving us satisfaction, changing lodge and taking it to his charge.
Once arrived at the airport, we have been picked up by Godson and Shomvi, our golden French-speaking guide, who drove us during 7 days and spotted the unspotable animals in the savane (lions, leopards...) . Shomvi was our best surprise, very (very) kind, always smiling and happy to do his job. He drives very safely and knows every other guides as well as the park routes.
We had a memorable 7 day safari thanks to this team (even a flat tire due to the road was a wonderful experience !).
We recommand them without any doubt.
Hope to see you back very soon guys

We had an amazing wedding safari.
5/5

We booked a 4 day safari with Godson Adventures. I guess Godson himself picked us our favorite tour according to our wishes. The tour was very amazing. Our driver Peter was very skilled, even when our truck had a little breakdown, and he explained us everything thanks to his huge knowledge. The truck and our midrange lodges were all comfortable. After the safari we booked another 1 day tour through Arusha NP, which we can recommend too. Thanks a lot to Godson and his team. This operator is very trustful. We wish you all the best in this hard times and hope to see you one day again.
