Truly Remarkable Safari Experience -- Worth Every Shilling
My fiancé and I booked a six-day safari with Godson Adventures. We were extremely excited as this was our first trip to Tanzania and my first time on a safari. Godson Adventures did not disappoint. We had an absolutely incredible experience that I am confident we will remember for many, many years to come. The safari had stops in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Our lodging at every stop had beautiful views and spacious and comfortable accommodations.
Our guide, Edrick, picked us up from a hotel we had been staying at in Moshi after we had completed a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro. The truck was spacious and comfortable and had power outlets, WiFi, and a fridge for food and drinks. After a brief stop in Arusha to meet with Godson and pick up supplies, we began our drive to Tarangire National Park – the first stop on our trip. Within just a few hours of arriving at Tarangire, we saw three of the “Big Five”: elephants, buffalo, and, much to our delight, lions. Our early success in seeing these animals is a testament to the knowledge and expertise of Edrick, who has many years of experience and used to work as a ranger at Ngorongoro Crater (the third stop on our safari). Edrick is a highly-skilled operator who has an extensive network of relationships with other tour guides and park officials and was able to use those relationships to help us locate many animals – not only at Tarangire but also on the other stops on our journey.
After a day or so in Tarangire, we drove to Serengeti. There are no words to capture the beauty and vastness of the Serengeti. While there was something special about each stop on our trip, the Serengeti is a place like no other. The sheer amount of wildlife that you will see warrants spending at least a couple of days here. During our stay, we saw all of the Big Five and many other animals. We were spoiled in that we saw no less than 25 lions, two rhino, two cheetah, two leopard, and too many elephants and buffalo to count. Our highlights in Serengeti included observing (1) a cheetah attempting to hunt a gazelle, (2) two lions stalking a dazzle of zebras, and (3) a group of lions guarding a zebra carcass that they had killed earlier that day from hyenas, vultures, etc. Edrick had an incredible ability to find many of these animals, and often well before the other safari trucks arrived, which made the experience all the more special.
Our third stop was in Ngorongoro Crater. The views from the lodge we stayed in at the top of the crater were truly remarkable and, as with the prior two stops on our trip, we again were treated to an array of wildlife during our drive through the crater. The crater is considerably smaller that Tarangire and Serengeti, but there’s still plenty of animals to see. Our highlight here was watching a pride of lions feasting on a wildebeest, with the hyenas in the distance, waiting for the leftovers.
We concluded our trip with a brief stay in Lake Manyara. Unlike the prior stops, the park here was a bit quieter and far less populated. Even so, we still were able to see many animals – including well over a hundred baboons. This was a nice and peaceful way to end what had been an eventful safari.
Overall, we cannot say enough good things about Godson and Edrick. They were incredibly gracious, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our only regret is that we did not book a longer safari because we were very sad to have to leave Tanzania and come back home. We have recommended Godson Adventures to our family and friends and would recommend them to anyone who is considering a safari in Tanzania. This is a small but growing company and we are confident that under Godson and Edrick’s leadership they will thrive and be successful. We very much look forward to the day that we return to Tanzania for another safari with Godson Adventures.

Best choice for safari and hike
We did the hike up Mount Meru and a 7 day safari with Godson and his team. We were completely satisfied and can only recommend Godson to everyone! He was also recommended to us and it was definitely the right decision to do the two tours with him. The communication with Godson before the trip went smoothly. He listened to our wishes and put together an individual tour for us. And also our questions he has always answered very reliably and very quickly. We decided for a private safari in tented lodges and would do it exactly the same way again. Godson arranged the accommodations for us and we could not have done better. The lodges were all very clean, the food was great and the staff was very friendly. The accommodation in the Serengeti was especially nice. The location of the tented lodge was gorgeous and you could see the sunrise from your bed! On the safari godson could tell us a lot of background information about the animals and the vegetation in the individual parks. It was really interesting and we could see a lot of animals thanks to his years of experience. The English of godson is really very good. Therefore, the communication was really nice and we learned a lot about the country and animals. Overall it was a wonderful adventure!
The hike on Mount Meru was unforgettable and highly recommended, not least because of our very competent team from Godson. Our guide Alex led us safely to the summit and was able to answer all our questions. Overall, we felt very well taken care of. Great care was taken to ensure that we could acclimatize well and create the best conditions to reach the summit. Once we reached the summit, we were rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise. The food, freshly prepared by our chef every day 3 times a day, was delicious. On the climb we saw many animals. This also made the day of the descent a special day.
Overall, my boyfriend and I can highly recommend Godson Adventure because we didn't feel like we were one client of many, but the tour was perfectly tailored to our individual desires and we had a memorable trip. Godson is very authentic and you can just tell that he enjoys his work and has a very profound knowledge! On the safari and also on the hike it is mostly so that you eat dinner together with the guide. That's why it's really very good to get along and have a good conversation. And so it was with us in any case. We had really good conversations and could learn so many things in general about life in Africa. It was always very entertaining and informative at the same time. Godson is simply a very likeable person and chooses his team accordingly well!

Best experience and the best tour guide Godson from Godson Adventures!
I have finished amazing 3 days of safari in Tanzania. This was my second safari experience in Africa!
Everything was wonderful, much better than what I expected! The tour was very well organized by Godson Adventures. The tours to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Kilimanjaro basic camp were really an experience of a lifetime! Thanks to Godson Adventures it was even a better experience. Our driver and guide Godson was brilliant, this man is a legend. Godson has a lot of knowledge, excellent English, is very friendly, and took care of everything that we needed! At first, I would like to say thank him for his personal qualities: responsibility, courtesy, extraordinary intelligence, and readiness, secondly for his high qualifications such as preparedness, extensive knowledge, and rich experience. Best experience and the best tour guide Godson from Godson Adventures! I would highly recommend Godson Adventures agency and specifically Godson to anyone looking to have an unforgettable trip!

Fantastic Experience
We did a 4 day Safari.
We arrived at JRO airport in Arusha and were picked up immediately upon leaving arrivals hall. Our guide was Godson, he was very professional, very knowledgeable, and a veteran guide in the safari.
First day we went to Tarangire National Park. He gave us so many details about everything: animal life, trees, local villages and their inhabitants ecc. We had so many questions and he has so many information ready to share them with you.
The next day we drove to Serengeti. We were very thankful that Godson was such a good driver of the Land cruiser because it was very wet and muddy on that day, via Norongoro. I have a whole new appreciation for a Land cruiser after this trip.
Third day we woke up really early and spent the day in Serengeti, such a wow experience. Afternoon we went back to the camp, had a late lunch and we even had a fresh baked cake for my birthday made by our own chef. Such a thoughtful moment. After that, we drove to Norongoro camp and on the last day we went to the crater. Pili was our chef. He and Godson made the experience a true adventure, they made sure we have everything we need at all times, they made us feel safe and well taken care of.
In safari, Godson know exactly where to go to find all the animals that you can see. He knows all the good spots and he made sure we see all the animals out there. Pili, the chef, makes the best vegetarian food that you can eat in Tanzania. (me and my husband are vegetarians).
I would highly recommend Godson Adventures!!! Best team! I would choose them everytime.

The ultimate experience- Delivered!
When Kelly and I decided to go on Safari for her birthday, we wanted to find a company where they listened to our desires, provided a great service for a fair price, and truly cared about our experience and the little things. Godson Adventures is that company! As Godson likes to say, “things happen when it’s time”, boy, did things happen each and everyday. We set out with Edric our driver and guide to our first stop, Tarangire National Park. It was outstanding, we saw three cheetah brothers, an elusive leopard, all kinds of wildlife and when the herd of elephants walked up and around our vehicle we were blown away. After that, things only got better. Each day, Edric would ask us what was important to us that day, and always strive to make it happen. The South and Central Serengeti gave us a Cheetah Mom with her two cubs posing in a broken tree, Lions enjoying a wildebeast breakfast with their nine cubs, mongoose and baboon babies, more leopards, and Girraffes everywhere. Zebras and Wildebeasts as far as the eye can see. The Ngorongoro crater gave us three rhinos (wow), and Lake Manyara gave us a beautiful forest with Lions in the trees and Elephants walking right up to us again. For Kelly’s birthday, Godson arranged to have the camp come dancing and singing around us with a cake for her. To say our expectations were exceeded doesn’t come close to the truth. With nature, you can never be sure of anything, but having a company who knows how to setup things up to ensure the best chance of success is paramount. We can’t thank Godson Adventures enough for giving us the trip of a lifetime.

Unforgetable days in Tanzania
Our family of 3 persons made a 3-day individual tour in the beginning of March 2022. A 3-day programme combining 2 days of safari with a day trip to Kilimanjaro attracted our attention as we were looking for a tour with varied activities. As we discussed the details of the tour by phone, Godson made an impression of a professional and experienced guide. Meeting us at the airport and bringing us to the airport after the tour was a real added value.
All the three days were well organised and managed. Each day Godson was punctual, friendly, with positive energy and a good approach to our child. He was flexible and open for the adjustments of the trip. While driving to the destinations, Godson answered a plenty of our questions and introduced us the social, ethnical, cultural and economic life of Tanzania. Godson is very dedicated, well informed and has expert knowledge about the animals, birds and plants of the national parks.
The lunch boxes were tasty and sufficient. The first lodge hotel during the safari was a real highlight. It is located in the picturesque valley, has nice bungalows, a pool, beautiful plants, decorated restaurant with delicious meals and friendly personnel. The second lodge in the city of Arusha was less attractive but sufficient for 1 night. During the first two days we visited the parks Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Godson did his best to catch the most interesting views and scenes. In the third day we drove up to about 3400m by jeep and walked about 6km up to 3610m on Kilimanjaro. We could observe the changing vegetation while hiking upwards and enjoyed the magnificent view of the mountain.
If we would do a safari next time in Tanzania, we would do it definitely again with Godson and would also recommend him to our friends.

A sincere and professional safari trip
We went with our family together with Godson on a trip consisting of two days safari in national parks and one day hiking. I would like to point out that Godson has a very deep knowledge especially concerning the wild life of Tanzania but also about the general situation in his home country. Besides this he is a very sincere and kind person, ready to share his knowledge and give valueable advices. We felt that we were the entire time in good hands. We would for sure recommend Godson for doing safaris in Tanzania!

Professional and amazing experience
In general absolutely professional and an amazing experience! Especially the communication beforehand was great for example personal contact via WhatsApp. Accommodation choices were excellent. Godson led the tour himself, he's absolutely reliable and knows everything there is to know about wildlife and the surroundings. Ask for his wife's samosas - they're just delicious!

Fantastic. 100% recommended
Me and my friends found Godson thanks to a recommendation and we cannot be more grateful. We got to Arusha a little bit lost because we wanted to do many things but we didnt have that much time. In five minutes he organised a 4 day Safari including the Klimanjaro and the Serengueti. He made the trip easy and fun and apart from that he came along with a cook which gave as the best food so far in africa. 100% recommended and very good price for everything
