40th birthday dream come true
This was by far the best experience of my life. I always wanted to go on a safari game drive and to go on 1 for my birthday was by far the best experience ever. On the 1st day, driving to the national park the scenery was beautiful. We saw baboons on the side of the road before arriving to the national park. When we got to the national reserve park, we saw more animals driving to our lodge which was an excellent accommodation. After settling in and eating lunch we went on an afternoon game drive and OMG… we saw lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, buffalo, antelope, wildebeest, more baboons, kids playing (yes down the way from the lions and other animals). After getting back to our lodge and eating dinner, walking back to our room we saw 3 zebras in the back of our room. The next morning we went on a morning game drive and we saw even more animals. Our tour guide Peter was the best ever. He was super knowledgeable, personable, great hospitality and knew exactly where to go so we can see all the animals. They even set up a surprise at the lodge for my birthday and the entire staff sang happy birthday to me and gave me a tasteful cake. Great, Amazing Experience!

Amazing operator!
The communication was seamless with Polly, who is my planner of the trip and responded to my messages in a really quick manner, even on Sundays, I really appreciate that. I was short of time so I chose the fly-in option and it turned out to be well worth it, I managed to see many animals and took terrific pictures even with one night at Masai Mara. For those who are traveling with little time, the fly-in option is definitely something to consider! It saved me so much time to allow me to spend the most time with games.
I booked the Loyk Camp and it was a super comfortable and amazing stay - the room is clean and the amenities are well equipped.
My guide is professional and knowledgeable and knows very well the need for a photographer, always trying to find a good angle for my photos. Amazing experience overall and thank you so much!
Note: I am a solo young female traveler and was a little concerned about going alone on a Safari with a male guide. But the concerns were totally invalid as the guide is super professional and it was a classic experience for me. Thank you Elijah!

Highly Recommend!
We decided to spend our wedding anniversary in Kenya last minute and Joel was super accommodating. We decided to go on 6 days/5 nights safari. He addressed all the queries, was always available, the communication was smooth and timely. He was attentive to all the details shared and arranged the best rooms and special treatments for my husband's birthday and our anniversary. So he went far and beyond to support us.
Joe was our guide and he was amazing. Super professional. he managed to find the best spots for us to watch the animals. We did our Big 5, thanks to him. He showed us great places, was always caring and he has very nice music in his car.
We stayed in 4 different lodges during our safari. All of them were wow. The Cliff at Nakuru is the top. We recommend staying there at least for a night to enjoy the views. We stayed at KIBO in Amboseli, which is also great and has a Kilimanjaro view. Ilkiliani (Masai Mara) - highly recommended, it's a boutique lodge (they have only 12 lodges) with great food, and great service and they recently renovated their premium lodges, which are very comfy and stylish.
We had a great time and the company is trusted.

A wonderful roadtrip with a young kid
My wife and I have spent 17 days in Kenya, including 12 days of safari with our little boy of only 3 1/2 years old.
Everything was perfectly organised, The communication with Joseph has always been super easy and extremely friendly. He was always reactive and provided good advices. In short: very professional.

He was the perfect guide!
Super Friendly and always worried about us seeing the big 5.
We would certainly recommend Mufasa’s and Nelson’s services to our friends and family. If we consider returning we will certainly choose Nelson again. He is not only a guide, he is also a friend

This tour operator is perfect to discover Kenya and his safaris.
Mufasa Tours was a very good experience. We are very satisfied with the service provided. The reservation was very simple. everything corresponded to our expectations. communication was excellent. We were picked up from our hotel in Nairobi to discover Amboseli and Tsavo parks. The guide Tony was a perfect guide! He was very interesting and always in a good mood during these three days. they are flexible too as we requested a slight change for the return trip and they were very responsive in accepting our request and booking a train to go to Mombasa instead of Nairobi. we really recommend this tour operator.

Mufasa Safari made our dream come true
We looked for safari agencies in Kenya and chose Mufasa Safari because they had very good reviews. From the start Polly the person who took care of us before the Safari put us at ease. Everything was clear before the trip, and she was accommodating as we wanted to get out early on the first day. She entrusted us to our driver and guide Tony, a very kind person who answered all the questions during the excursion. We chose a two day safari. the first day we left Nairobi to the Masai Mara, we arrived at our hotel Sarova Mara Camp which was beautiful in the middle of nature. we arrived around 11:30 am, we had our lunch and then left at 3 pm. For four hours Tony showed us around the nature reserve and he gave 100% to satisfy us and he succeeded. we managed to see lions, hippos, leopard, cheetah, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest and warthogs. we returned at 7 p.m. to the hotel to eat and sleep. tony gave us an appointment for the next day at 6am so that we could have the best Safari experience, he was right to suggest it to us because the next morning we witnessed the most beautiful sunrise in our life and especially one of the most beautiful things to see: a lion with its prey, mission accomplished because we saw a lioness having caught a zebra. at 10:30 am we left for the Masai village and we were able to discover their way of life. It was wonderful thank you for this experience that we will never forget.

Highly professionnal agency, the service is at his best
Great communication, very reactive. The service is great as well, conform to the proposition. That's the best deal around !
We recommend Mufasa and Nelson.
We had an amazing 6-day safari with excellent value for money.
It felt easy to communicate with Joseph before the trip. He managed to organize a great first safari for us that fit our limited budget.
Nelson was there to pick us at the airport with his reliable van. He was an experienced driver and a knowleadgable guide. There was no road or path he could not drive and we covered long distances quickly. We didn’t mind the long distances between the national parks as we would admire the landscapes and many local towns. Thanks to Nelson we learned a lot about the animals and Kenyan culture. He entertained us with stories from his childhood and his family which made the experience more personal.
We spent two nights at Amboseli and one night near Lake Nakuru before heading to Masai Mara for two nights. The lodges and Masai Mara’s tented camp were outside the national parks but not far from the gates. There were several power outages when staying near Masai Mara but we considered it part of the experience.
Nelson did everything in his power so we could see the Big Five and mission accomplished! We also managed to see many other mammals and different birds. We went to the Mara river for the crossing but could not see the event when we were there in the third week of August.
Overall, we would certainly use Mufasa’s and Nelson’s services again should we return to Kenya some day with our friends or family.

Very professional and helpful
Great tour company provided us with customised tour, understood our requirements well, we had grt time with Mufasa, our tour guide (James) was the best and the details provided and made us understand each single details before coming for the trip (Joel). James tried his best to make sure we are able to see all the Big 5 and migration. Most recommended company from Kenya.
