Extremely knowledgeable and friendly
Joshua was our guide throughout the trip and he turned our trip into an amazing and unforgettable experience. He knew every plant and animal that we came across and also told us a lot of new information about each one of them. As well as that when going on safari he knew all the spots and patterns for animals which helped us see all of the big five multiple times. He was very kind and thoughtful and always asked if we needed anything, if we took good pictures and pointed at all animals. We had long travels between the different parks and camp sites but Joshua made the time on the road very enjoyable and the car we were in was also extremely comfortable and great for the safari. We would definitely recommend him and Mufasa tours to anyone as we had a fabulous adventure in Kenya!

Jo and John were our tour guides, the bests we ever met.
Very helpful, taking us to the best spots to see the animals and with a large knowledge about the animals of Africa.

Unforgettable 4 day Safari Honeymoon!
What a wonderful honeymoon in Kenya! My husband and I were not able to go anywhere due to Covid but it was definitely worth the wait with Mufasa Tours and Travels.
Kenya was a last minute booking but Joseph was quick and responsive with all my questions. This helped me trust him straight away even though I had never met him and we were in two different continents! Within a day Joseph had emailed me an itinerary packed with fun experiences including safaris, hotels and even a hot air balloon ride at Masai Mara.
Once we arrive in Kenya, we were blessed with Colin as our driver. He picked us up at our hotel and from the first minute he was energetic and friendly. Colin told us so much history about Kenya and the places we were going to visit. He is extremely knowledgeable about the animals too and we couldn't help but feel excited every morning by his enthusiasm. We saw the big five ( lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) and it's probably due to all the praying Colin said he had done! I can't believe how close the lions were - we also saw a lion dragging a zebra across the road as we waited quietly with excitement and anticipation.
The accommodations were incredible. We picked the luxury package and stayed at Entim Camp in Masai Mara and Cliff Lodge in Lake Nakuru. Entim Camp was great and the food was delicious ( the banana strudel with custard was devine) and most alcoholic drinks were included. Cliff Lodge was magical and dreamlike. Your luxury camp is literally facing the lake and we watched the sunrise in bed. I always remember this moment.
My husband also wanted to try a local Kenyan cuisine on our last day and Colin went out of his way to do research and found a local place. The food was lovely especially the lamb with the ugali. Colin also took lovely pictures of my husband and I, it was like having a personal photographer! We will miss Colin very much!
Thank you Mufasa Tours for an unforgettable experience. My only tip is to go for longer so you can enjoy the luxury accommodations for a bit longer (especially Cliff Lodge in Lake Nakuru. We only stayed one night).

Everything was perfect
So we've never booked a big trip like this, but Joseph and Mufasa Tours made it so easy. We really appreciated Joesph meeting us at our hotel the night before to walk us through everything and answer our questions. Our tour guide Abraham was so kind and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions about the animals, the area, history and more. We were able to see the big five and just about every animal you would think to see in Kenya!

What a great tour company! Joe from Mufasa, who handled my booking, was wonderful to work with. Mufasa offers great value. In addition to being organized, reputable and responsive, I found the company's prices to be quite reasonable. The accommodations were wonderful. I haven't even mentioned my guide, Nelson, yet. Nelson's response to any request was inevitably "No problem!" He truly has his clients' best interests at heart. He understands that this might be a client's one and only safari experience, and does everything he can to make it memorable, always with a smile. In addition to making sure I had every opportunity to see what I hoped to see, we had fun! It was like running around the Mara with a good friend, and indeed, that is what Nelson has become. Fantastic one week trip through Kenya thanks to Joseph and his team
Just back after a fantastic one week tour through Kenya. It was organized by Joseph and his team. Due to Corona, I reached out to various local operators at very short notice for this trip. I booked with Joseph because of his impeccable track record here and on Tripadvisor. He also impressed with his responsiveness - he quickly followed up on every whim I had (I'm sure he must pretty much hate me :-)). His pricing was also quite competitive.
Regarding the tour, it was Lake Naivasha (Hell's Gate NP => the bike ride is highly recommended - a very different safari experience), Masai Mara (fantastic of course) & Lake Nakuru (rhinos). For the 5 nights, it was nice and the drives not too cumbersome.
Joseph was honest enough to admit that I probably could get better quotes for the Diani extension I had in mind if I booked the hotel directly (which I did - relying again on his suggestions). Since the tourism business in Kenya is down unfortunately, I got lucky and with Patrick, I probably had one of the most experienced guides the country has to offer. Knowledgeable, good company, safe driver. I could not have had a better travel companion. A big thank you to both for great memories - I'll be back. :-)

We chose the Mufasa company to visit Lake Naivasha, the hot springs of Lake Elementary as well as the Great Rift Valley. We had a very nice stay.

I spoke to Joseph, the owner, and explained to him that we had to leave kenya in 2 days, that we would first have to do a covid test to be able to make the visit, he offered to take us to do the test by picking us up from the hotel before starting the visit.
