Mufasa is awesome!
What a great tour company! Joe from Mufasa, who handled my booking, was wonderful to work with. Mufasa offers great value. In addition to being organized, reputable and responsive, I found the company's prices to be quite reasonable. The accommodations were wonderful. I haven't even mentioned my guide, Nelson, yet. Nelson's response to any request was inevitably "No problem!" He truly has his clients' best interests at heart. He understands that this might be a client's one and only safari experience, and does everything he can to make it memorable, always with a smile. In addition to making sure I had every opportunity to see what I hoped to see, we had fun! It was like running around the Mara with a good friend, and indeed, that is what Nelson has become. I recommend Mufasa, and Nelson, without hesitation! Good ahead and book. You will be really glad you did!

Fantastic one week trip through Kenya thanks to Joseph and his team
Just back after a fantastic one week tour through Kenya. It was organized by Joseph and his team. Due to Corona, I reached out to various local operators at very short notice for this trip. I booked with Joseph because of his impeccable track record here and on Tripadvisor. He also impressed with his responsiveness - he quickly followed up on every whim I had (I'm sure he must pretty much hate me :-)). His pricing was also quite competitive.
Regarding the tour, it was Lake Naivasha (Hell's Gate NP => the bike ride is highly recommended - a very different safari experience), Masai Mara (fantastic of course) & Lake Nakuru (rhinos). For the 5 nights, it was nice and the drives not too cumbersome.
Joseph was honest enough to admit that I probably could get better quotes for the Diani extension I had in mind if I booked the hotel directly (which I did - relying again on his suggestions). Since the tourism business in Kenya is down unfortunately, I got lucky and with Patrick, I probably had one of the most experienced guides the country has to offer. Knowledgeable, good company, safe driver. I could not have had a better travel companion. A big thank you to both for great memories - I'll be back. :-)

We chose the Mufasa company to visit Lake Naivasha, the hot springs of Lake Elementary as well as the Great Rift Valley. We had a very nice stay.
In addition, I would like to congratulate their professionalism. I spoke to Joseph, the owner, and explained to him that we had to leave kenya in 2 days, that we would first have to do a covid test to be able to make the visit, he offered to take us to do the test by picking us up from the hotel before starting the visit. In addition, we only had euros with us and the day before I told him that we wanted to change the currency into shilling, despite all the offices being closed, because very early in the morning they found a solution and we were able to change the currency.
We had made the excursion with Nelson (the driver) who is also very professional, a very nice man, smiling, and very helpful, we kept in touch with Nelson who is now our friend. Thank you for this unforgettable moment spent with you.

Wonderful 6-Day Safari 10/2021
We booked a 6 day Safari with Mufasa Tours. Joseph the owner was very professional and if you had a question or anything else, he took care of it and gave answer within minutes. Very great Service - Thank you! We went to Amboseli - Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara with the Jeep. We can recommend the trip and also Kepha our driver. He was always on a good mood and explained us everything and was joking with us.
The program we choosed was also nice and we can only say thank you! The Safari was amazing and we also saw the Big 5.
When we travel again to Kenya we will book again with Mufasa!

Excellent choice for safari in Kenya!
Our kenyan adventure was extremely nice due to Peter, our guide who ensured our safety and made us follow an itinerary that helped us see all the animals there were to see: lion, cheetah, leopard, migration of gnus, elephants and many others. Communication with the agency was great and prices were fair. Accomodation in Amboseli, Nakuru and Masai Mara were clean and with great food. Also recommended, the Masai cultural village visit. It's really worth the hype.

Amazing experience!
We've had 6 days private safari: Amboseli - Nakuru - Maasai Mara. All our wishes were taken into account and fitted in our journey. Joseph provided us the great advices, always ready to respond to our requests. The accomodation was well chosen, in great locations, with friendly staff and good food.

Exactly what you want from a tour company
Excellent! I don't even know where to start with this review, because every aspect of my experience with Mufasa Tours was wonderful. Their communication before the trip was great, and gave me fantastic recommendations. When the first lodging fell through (not their fault at all), they immediately found an amazing place. They set me up with an amazing guide, Mike, who was knowledgable, kind, and fun! Every detail of my trip was taken care of by Tony and Joseph. It was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life and that was in large part because of Mufasa tours -- thank you again!
Great experience
We did a 3 day Safari to Maasai Mara with Mufasa. The booking experience was easy. We communicated with Joseph who was quick to reply to messages, which I appreciated. He also sent us a packet with the different tour options which answered a lot of my questions and made it easier to book. In terms of pricing, they were competitive with other operators and it was great value for the money. Our tour guide (also named Joseph!), was very knowledgable and gave us a lot of details of various animals. We got to see all the major animals up close with the exception of the rhino, which is pretty rare. We went with the land cruiser option which had plugs to charge our phones and bottles of water which was a nice touch. Also, the roads were pretty rough, especially after it rained so I think it was a better option over the vans. Overall, I'd recommend Mufasa Tours and Travels!
