Couldn't recommend more!
We booked a 9-day safari with Mufasa Tours and I would highly recommend. Very reasonably priced with no compromise in quality. The guides (especially Tony) were so great to spend the week with and the overall customer service was amazing. We loved the places we stayed and were very happy we were able to customize our trip to exactly how we wanted it.

An unforgettable safari experience
The two of us had a private 5 day safari with Mufasa in early February: 1 day in Nakuru, 1 day in Naivasha, 3 days in Masai Mara. Everything was great from start to finish and we'd definitely recommend booking your safari with Mufasa (feel free to email me for any questions). Given the number of scams out there, we were extremely careful/sceptical when we were choosing our tour operator, but reading this many good reviews and chatting with Lewis on whatsapp before the trip convinced us Mufasa is a good option. Lewis was responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. More importantly, our guide James was very friendly and overall amazing throughout the trip. He was always open to adjustments to the plan, happy to answer questions, and taught us a lot about nature, animals, the job of a guide and Kenya. He also helped us in various situations outside of just guiding and driving, and we felt like we had a friend along the way. In Mara we were a bit unlucky (heavy rains a few days before closed off many good roads in the park) so we didn't get to officially see "the big 5" (missed the leopard), but that's overrated anyways. We still saw many beautiful animals and a lot of beautiful nature, and the whole experience of "hunting" the animals around the parks was mind blowing. Sometimes there were hours with no major sightings (partly because of the rains, partly the nature of safari) but we always felt like James tried his best to find interesting things. All accommodation was good and matched the itinerary (Eagle Palace, Panorama Park, Enkorok). Some random tips: buy and bring large binoculars - it's definitely worth it, do Nakuru->Naivasha->Mara as it just gets better (and the other way around will be underwhelming), think about investing in a private safari as the group ones we saw felt very uncomfortable and crowded (and you are in that vehicle all day every day). Overall, we find Mufasa to be one of the cheapest budget options that still has everything you need to feel comfortable and have a good time, and we'll definitely book with them again the next time.

Great Tour with Charlie
I booked a 6 day Safari Solo with Mufasa and my guide was Charlie.
Lewis, was the one who contacted me first after I inquired about the Safari. Easy to deal with and always ready to answer queries.
I did a lot of research when choosing which tour should I go to. I am thankful and did not regret booking with them.
Charlie was my guide. He was amazing. His knowledge about the places and animal were admirable. He know how to spot animals. And also his amazing driving skills.
The tour was beyond my expectations from food and accommodation. I was really impress with the lodge and the food. Can’t complain about that.
The only bad part I experienced was visiting the Maasai Community. It is optional since I love to learn about the culture I said yes.
First was the fee. It says $20/person. But when I got there they asked me for $40 since I am alone. I think you need to put that on your quotation next time. Then after the Maasai warrior dance they told me about their way of life, history , practices etc. Second, which really irked me off is that after they let me in to one of their house the Leader Sam told me to give gift to the family. Huh? I thought the $40 I gave covers everything already. So I gave money 500 KES . Then Sam told me it should be 1000 KES. Now I am upset. Then they offered me stuff to buy and let the women of Maasai sing I said no need. And politely said I have to go. That was not I was expecting. I don’t blame the Mustafa or my guide on this. I think something must be done in here or else they would slowly lose people visiting their village. Just skipped this if I were you. I read almost same experience with other travelers
Overall , The Safari Experience is amazing. Cheers and High Five to Charlie!

A day to remember
Unfortunately the night before the one day safari it rained cats and dogs. But that did not stop us from going and our guide Nelson made this a day to remember. A part from being the different animals the muddy condition of the road became a spectacle on its own. 4 wheel drives getting stuck in the mud, sliding and slipping ... what a joyride.
Nelson tried everything to show us the lions and in spite he knew where they were, we could not reach the spot ... but Nelson made up with his great humor, friendliness and spirit.
I will most certainly contact them again for future safaris

Great first safari !
We were a group of 7 friends living in three different countries in Africa, and we organised a meeting point in Kenya for a safari. We are very pleased of our 6 days safari, everything was as described.
Odhis is a very good guy, helpful, discreet but present, excellent driver, always in a good mood.
Lodges were great too. We had few problems with water (no water or cold water in some rooms), but solutions were found. I think there was a mistake wih the bookings, because there was only 3 rooms booked in each places (and we needed 4), but lodges always gave us 4. Thanks to them.
Game drives were fabulous, and we found the all trip magical !
So yes, Mufasa Tours met ours expectations !

Memorable Safari Trip to Tsavo East and Great Planning/Support
Our great experience with Mufasa Tours and Travels started already back in Poland when I enquired about the Safari and I got a very detailed and a very encouraging reply from Mr. Joseph, he was very detailed and precise. We booked initially a day trip to Mombasa for sightseeing and 2 days trip to Tsavo East National Park. My Wife got sick due to a bad sunburn and I had to contact Mr. Joseph in middle of night to check if we can cancel day trip to Mombasa for her recovery and the way he responded , simply made me overwhelmed knowing how great humanity could be. Rather than worrying about his all planned travel the next morning, he showed concern towards recovery of my Wife and told me not to worry about the day trip. Thanks to that, my Wife recovered a bit by the time we started our Safari experience. The Driver and Guide name was Isa and he was so polite, humble, understanding and helpful person throughout the Safari. He tried his best to show us most of animals during 6 hours of game drive (Elephants,Lions,Antelopes,Water hippos,Zebras,Giraffe). During the whole journey, he was showing concern if we are Ok or not. Overall, we came back with lovely memories of great Kenyan hospitality. We strongly recommend Joseph and Isa combination for making your trip wonderful :)

Tour exceeded all of my expectations!
While visiting my son in Kenya, we decided to take Mufasa Tours and Travel’s 6-day Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara private safari. The tour was amazing, and the animals and parks were incredible, but it was made extra special by our guide, Kevin. In addition to being extremely professional, he is also very knowledgeable of the behavior of animals that we encountered in the parks. He knew where they were likely to be, and was genuinely interested in them, too. If you are interested in birds, Kevin is your guy! He is well versed in male/female/juvenile/courtship plumage of birds we encountered on safari. Kevin also brakes for insects and reptiles! His passion for the biological world is refreshing. After dinner on a couple of evenings, he took a few minutes of his time to point out constellations that are so bright and beautiful in the game parks, where lights don’t interfere with their clarity. Overall, It was a fantastic experience that we will never forget! Thank you Kevin!

FAB! Fab! Fab! I’m very happy to recommend Mufasa unreservedly. Professional, considerate, kind.
This tour came in US$1000 cheaper than a competitor. I was a little apprehensive as to what my experience would be especially as a single woman travelling by myself. Absolutely no need to have been. Joseph was always contactable, immediate in any communication and really insightful. Always ahead of the game! Efficient, assuring and a perfect joy to deal with. Tony, my guide remained with me throughout. He was the best! Look no further!

Two days in Tsavo East
I was with my wife and two children on two days safari in Tsavo East. Our tour guide was Badru. He knows a lot about the park and the animals and we saw beautiful sceneries and animals (for example elephants, jackals, foxes, lions, ostriches).
The VOI lodge was also great place with amazing view to the park and services.
So we were fully satisfied, as we had opportunity to enjoy the peace and beauty of Tsavo East park.
