Travel to Murchison falls national park and great stay at Murchison Falls River Lodge
Great choice in helping us select the best available lodge despite the highs season accomodation bookings.

What an experience!
A dream come true. I would never have imagined this possible. A huge financial effort but it was worth every penny and support, especially the Anderson guide, made it all possible.
Anderson was without a doubt the best guide I had on all my trips. Very friendly, understanding, in fact the best compliment I can give is that I genuinely felt like I was with a friend. And how important it is to have a guide like this when we travel hours and hours.
Tireless, always attentive to our needs, and careful with details.
Uganda surprised me positively as a European we only hear about bad things but I found exactly the opposite. A green, clean country with friendly and very welcoming people.
I loved the experience. I describe the trip with a guide and what I felt in the country because I have no words to describe what I felt with the gorillas. We don't deserve this planet. Incredible

Helpful, knowledgeable, organised, friendly and made us feel comfortable and safe at all times
Wow, what a trip we had! We completed the four day gorilla and chimp trekking experience in Uganda and absolutely loved every minute. Buyaga Safaris (pronounced “woo-yaga” Safaris and means cool breeze in local language) organised a trip that ensured we could squeeze so much excitement and diverse experiences into our four days. Our accommodation and the activities organised were all incredible. As we went through our journey, our guide, Simpson, was an expert at making sure there were no hiccups and everything went according to plan - smooth sailing! All we had to do was sit back and enjoy it all. Simpson was an incredible guide who made us feel so comfortable, safe and happy at all times. He started off our trip saying that we will be friends rather than him being our guide, and great friends we were! Any question we asked of Simpson he answered. We learnt so much about Ugandan life, culture and the communities. There was a lot of driving in the four days but the Ugandan country is so stunning we enjoyed every moment. We would highly recommend this tour company to anyone looking for a genuine, seamless and exciting journey through Uganda. Thanks again Buyaga Safaris and especially, Simpson! 😁

An Incredible Bucket List Experience!!
We spent 5 days travelling through Uganda with our amazing guide, Simpson. Our tour consisted of a safari through Queen Elizabeth National Park, a trip to the Equator, Chimp Tracking and Gorilla Trekking. From the very beginning of the process Peter was incredibly responsive and helped curate a trip that was in our budget, including everything we wanted to see. Even when we were having trouble acquiring our visa to get into Uganda, Peter stepped in and finished the process for us without hesitation.
All of the accommodations we stayed in were absolutely beautiful!! Although our first stay at Elephant Hab was changed last minute it was replaced with a fantastic stay at the Aardvark lodge. The food throughout the trip was absolutely delicious and the service throughout all of our stays was top notch.
Our guide Simpson really made our trip a 5 star experience. His incredibly kind and funny personality mixed with his knowledge about his home country was everything you could ask for in a guide. He is someone we will continue to keep in touch with and he quickly changed from just our guide into our friend. If you are booking this trip with Buyaga we hope you're lucky enough to experience it with Simpson!!!
Look no further and book with Buyaga Safaris.

Professional, friendly and simply amazing experience
We had a very pleasant experience with our guide Eric, who took amazing care of us.
Everything worked out as discussed. Seeing the Gorillas was astonishing and the drive was safe and as comfortable as one can be on the cravel roads.
We also got some nice insights from our guide about Uganda an West Africa in general. Accommodation was really, really nice and comfortable.

The entire organization was perfect from start to finish in complete safety
Our guide Anderson was very discreet, very professional and relevant in his advice and his Ugandan knowledge.

Unforgetable experience; i highly recommend it
This tour was hands down one of the best in my life! Seeing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat is a once in a lifetime experience.
The Tour was very well organized and Peter always responded quickly. I paid via Wise (make sure that you enter the right currency).
I had a wonderful Guide Simpson. I felt very safe the whole time and he explained a lot about Uganda!
We were lucky and found the gorillas after 20min. There is a search group who will look for them in the early morning. The track takes place at ca 2500m altitute. I did not get issues regarding altitute sickness.
Be aware that you spend ca 10 hours in the van. You will see a lot of nature and how people live along the way. The road is quite bumpy. If you get sick I recommend taking a pill and sit in front of the car.

An Amazing Experience From Start To Finish
Buyaga was amazing before I even began my trip. Peter was exceptional in helping me with issues with my Ugandan visa. I cannot thank him enough for this. Once on tour Azariah, my guide, was incredible. With so much experience and knowledge, he made each game drive so special. He was also incredibly kind and caring, just an amazing guide overall. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!

Anderson is personable, knowledgeable and a great conversationalist.
From start to finish, Buyaga far exceeded my expectations. Peter responded quickly to every communication; answered every question and provided expert guidance. I booked the 7 Day Gorilla Tour. My driver/guide. Anderson, picked me up at my hotel in Entebbe right on time. He explained in detail what we would be doing and seeing; gorilla trekking, up close wildlife (elephants, hippos, buffalo, chimpanzees and many more); as well as Community Experiences (interacting with members of the various communities and first hand view of their ways of life). The accommodations were clean and comfortable, the food excellent and the staff at each place friendly and helpful. This was a 5 star trip, thanks to Buyaga, Peter and Anderson!!!

Excellent communication, incredible guide provided, very organized, on time, professional, and safe
We booked a 4 day day gorilla and wildlife safari with Buyaga Safaris and had the most incredible experience with our guide Derrick. Booking the tour was incredibly easy and the itinerary was very clear and optimized the limited time we had in Uganda to see both the gorillas in Bwindi Goriall Forest and the incredible lions and other animals in Queen Elizabeth Park. The owner Peter was incredibly professional and flexible with our plans. He took care of all the transportation, permits, food, and lodge bookings for us. There also was a Boat cruise and Chimp tracking included in the plans. The lodges and food booked as part of our tour were very nice incredibly safe, and ensured water and food sanitation. The best part of our experience was our guide Derrick who was an incredible driver that knew all about Uganda. It was most impressive to see his navigation and safe driving all over Uganda for us. The transportation was very nice and included cold bottle water for us as well as unlimited WiFI in the land cruiser to have us connected the whole trip. It was really nice to be able to share out photos with family in real time as we completed each activity. Our guide Derrick was on time and went over the days plan with us. It was a perfect experience to have someone to show us the beauty of Uganda in such a short time frame. He also had an intimate knowledge of all the sights and Queen Elizabeth Park having been born and raised in the park. He also made our dreams come true of seeing the famous lions in the trees. We really look forward to requesting Derrick again and spending a longer trip with him seeing more of Uganda. Overall, we would give the highest recommendation to Buyaga Safaris for experiencing Uganda and seeing the majestic gorillas and climbing lions.
