Buyaga Safari is a very reliable tour operator who guaranteed us a wonderful stay in Uganda.
With of 4 friends and I spent 10 wonderful days in Uganda in the company of Peter, who was our guide, driver and ultimately irreplaceable "gang member":)
Even at the stage of searching for the right package for us - Peter's offer turned out to be the most advantageous of all. And I checked 10 tour operators. Peter is a very communicative person who answered every question I had very quickly. He also helped us to organise things outside the safari package.
The whole trip was beyond our imagination. Uganda is beautiful. The encounters with chimpanzees and gorillas I will never forget. It was a big dream of mine and Buyaga safari helped me to fulfil it. I was also hugely impressed by Murchison Falls National Park and the waterfalls themselves. Anyway, each point of the programme is a separate adventure. On all the game drives Peter made sure we were accompanied by park rangers who were very familiar with the ecosystem there and had a wealth of knowledge about the wildelife.
All the lodges along the route were comfortable and served delicious meals. Most were characterised by a spectacular location that you won't find outside Africa.
Finally Peter himself, a super positive character, punctual, well organised, with a great sense of humour. Thank you for everything:)

A wonderful trip with a outstanding tour operator
We have chosen Buyaga Safaris for our 11 days Uganda tour.
We have visited the major national parks such as Murchison fall, Kibale Forest, Bwindi impenetrable forest, lake Buyonyi and lake Mburo.
Since the beginning Peter has provided a lot of useful information to arrange our tour and satisfied all our requests on the changes for the accommodations.
On top of this, our guide Derrick really made our days special! He is a young man really kind, polite and passionate about animals and his country, always providing us details about everything we saw. He has always been really attentive to our needs and security, and we really felt secure traveling with him.
We loved everything we did in our 11 days tour from the activities, places and accodomations arranged by Buyaga so we strongly recommend this tour operator.
Last but not least, we will never forget the beautiful Uganda landscape and people from different communities who has always welcomed us with a big smile!

Highly recommended
Peter organized a tour according to my individual wishes: a 3-day trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the gorillas. Exactly what I wanted. He responded promptly to my email inquiries. Peter is a reliable and friendly tour guide. And he has chosen very nice hotels. Good value for money! Next time I (hopefully) visit Uganda, I won't hesitate to book another tour with Buyaga Safaris.

Reliable and customer oriented service.
Our tour started in Sipi and went to Kidepo NP, Murchison Falls NP, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and ended in Entebbe. As my wife and I came on our own from Kitale to Sipi the tour had to be planned according to our ideas. Emmanuel was our tour guide and driver. He is very resourceful and flexible and showed us many highlights especially in Kidepo NP. He knows the place very well. We had an extended stay in Kidepo and Murchison. It's worth to be there a bit longer as a "normal" tour suggests. The tour was well organized, the lodges were nice and convenient. Communication with Peter from Buyaga for planning and fixing the tour was easy and fast. We really enjoyed our stay in Uganda.

Lovely tour with Peter
Had an amazing 2-night solo gorilla tour with Peter. Always felt safe and in good company! Always timely as well. Peter was happy to answer any questions I had and taught me a lot about Uganda during our many hours spent on the road.

A very friendly and personal safari in the Pearl of Africa.
I went on a solo Safari with Buyaga. I booked last minute as I had some changes of plans. The prompt communication and value for a 12 day solo safari was pretty incredible. The tour was really great I am really happy with our time exploring the many national parks looking for wildlife in Uganda's many parks. Some highlights were Chimpanzee's, Mountain Gorillas, Red Tailed Monkeys, Lions, Barbets, and Golden Monekys.

Amazing tour was much more than I expected!
My driver Azariah was simply amazing. Very helpful, informative, and caring. The organizer Peter was very courteous and answered all questions promptly and was an immense help when I had issues with my visa. I was so grateful couldn't thank him enough. I would highly recommend buyaga tours to anyone interested in a tour in Uganda.

Excellent Company & Guide
I booked a 6 day safari including chimp and gorilla trecking as well as activities in Queen Elizabeth National Park. From the start Peter Amanya was super helpful and facilitating to my needs. He was quick to reply and helped out with last minute visa issues making the whole thing stress free and inspiring complete confidence with his total professionalism.
My guide, Alex, was amazing. I could tell from the start that he was a really professional guy and for the whole time I was with him there was not a single thing I had to worry about in terms of organisation or admin. He was great at little things, and I found that by the time I'd even thought of something he had already arranged everything.
The hotels chosen were all great, as was the food throughout. Alex really knew what he was doing on the game drive and was genuinely enthusiastic about making sure I saw the animals I was there for. I also really enjoyed the crater tour in QE National Park and the boat tour.
Overall I highly recommend both Buyaga Safaris and Alex as a guide. There is no shortage of activities in this region and next time I am back I will go back to Buyaga safaris without hesitation!

Very reliable and flexible tour operator providing the best services, always on time
I arranged my termin with Peter and he was ready to meet and go through the program before my departure, even adapt the program according to my wishes. He replied immediately to all my questions either via email or per whats app.
I was travelling with Mr. Anderson and we had very nice time I would say we even became friends during the whole trip so there was no lack of communication. My 9 day program was very intensive and I managed to see almost everything I wanted. The only factor that nobody can predict is the weather. I personally think the money was adequate for what I saw and what accommodation and food I had (much better than I expected) I could rely on Anderson anytime and I enjoyed the trip very much. He also had a very good knowledge about the country so he guided me often himself.
The only thing which everyone has to be aware of is the tips for tour guides/rangers, which are expected basically everywhere, however, it is also written in the contract, but might increase your expenses.
Thank you Buyaga for making my trip so adventurous and complex. I had opportunity to see really a lot.
