The success of our project to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro would not have been possible without the professionalism of the "Sheengai Pride Safari" team. The team of 23 people was exceptional in their kindness, availability and constant benevolence. Nicolas, our French guide was exceptionally kind and dedicated. Julias was perfect in the administrative management, and Johnrick took us to the summit of Killamonjaro with his smile, humor and great complicity. I do not forget the team who cooked and served excellent dishes for six days whatever the attitude and conditions! I also take my hat off to the porters for the work they did carrying the equipment and our bags every day! An exceptional team, thank you again to everyone for this stay in Tanzania. And for helping us reach the summit of Kilimanjaro.

Our experience with Sheengai Pride Safaris was exemplary. We provided the dates and they took care of everything from Airport meet and greet to Airport drop-off and everything in-between to create a seamless vacation.
Our guide spoke excellent English, and his general knowledge, from Tanzania, it’s peoples, culture, traditions and history, to his exhaustive knowledge of wildlife from A - Z, made every day/drive a knowledge-soaking experience.
To say Tanzanian roads, especially bush tracks, are in bone-jarring condition, is an understatement. Our guide made navigating crater sized pot-holes, deep sand and water-soaked muddy tracks, all whilst scanning the horizon for animals and carrying on a conversation seem like a Sunday drive – he took guiding and off-road driving to the next level. He not only knew where we needed to be for the most fantastic sightings, but knew the areas (Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater and conservation area, Ndutu and the Serengeti ) like the back of his hand. In 8 days, we saw 17 Lions, 12 Cheetahs, 2 Leopards, hundreds of Giraffes, Zebra’s galore, many species of antelope, and of course millions of Wildebeest and their calves making the great migration.
Having last visited Tanzania in 2017 with a different operator, we were blown away at the level of service, professionalism and attention to detail by Sheengai Pride– too many too mention, however one which surpassed our expectations were our breakfast and lunch picnic hampers served on lovely clean table linen, flatware and plates – we did not see any other operator providing this level of service to their clients.
This was the most memorable safari we’ve ever experienced and in no small part thanks to Sheengai Pride’s lodge selection, attention to detail, high standards and last but not least, his truly amazing guide.

Experienced, boutique & luxury level of service, 5-star recommended!
My husband and I just returned from an amazing 2-week honeymoon that was expertly planned and carried out by Sheengai Pride Safaris. We had the most incredible experience exploring northern & central Serengeti as well as the Ngorongoro crater region of Tanzania where we witnessed the very best of Mother Nature! I mean, we saw everything from elephants, to zebras, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, and so so many lions! I wish I could upload more photos, but the ones I chose from the trip speak for themselves! The sightings on every safari were simply outstanding, and the magic is that if we waited patiently, wonderful things would unfold.
Aside from the sightings, we were paired with the most incredible and kind guide, Joshua. He not only knew I was an avid wildlife photographer, but he helped angle the (incredibly spacious and comfy) safari vehicle to maximize the best lighting and composition for my photos! Joshua is extremely knowledgeable with over 24 yrs of experience, and my husband felt so fortunate to have met him and spent so many days together on safari! He literally knew all the roads like the back of his hand. Simply amazing!!
Sheengai Pride Safaris offered us a boutique-level of service and helped coordinate all of our hotel, transport, activities, food, etc. for our honeymoon. Augustino was so helpful throughout our 10-month planning process, and treated us like VIPs during our time in Tanzania - he was there to pick us up, answer any questions, and was there at the end of our trip to make sure we arrived at the airport on time. I highly recommend this company for all of your East Africa travel plans (it was our first time to the region!), especially for those combining safari in Serengeti with a beach trip to Zanzibar. Thank you, we will never forget our time together, and can’t wait to return!!

Trip of a lifetime - Honeymoon
The organization, attention to detail, and professionalism when dealing with Sheengai Pride Safaris is unparalleled. Augustino made us feel as special as possible during the entire trip. This was our first safari and we can only say that if you are looking for one of the best, at Sheengai Pride Safaris you are at the right place. We had an amazing time during our weeklong aventure and everyting was organized to the finest detail. Our guide was amazing, the camps were amazing, and augustino was amazing.
