Issy, owner of Enjanga Safari, is one of our best safari guides we have had in over 30 safaris!!!
Issy provided us with superb guiding. We spent 12 hours a day out in the bush with him and he proved to be one of the best guides we have had in over 30 safaris. In fact this was the third time that we had Issy as our guide. He is very knowledgeable about the African animals, birds and plants. We are photographers and he was always very patient and aware of the proper vehicle position for the best possible lighting. He has worked for some of the best safari lodges and camps in Botswana and knows very well the safari business. He is a very polite, kind, and respectful man. You will be well taken care of if you safari with Issy.

An ultimate, exceptional safari which far exceeded my expectations!
Our safari guide, Izzy Ntena was a wondergul sharing experience, communicating with the animals of the bush-our living heritage for future generations. It was a true holographic experience of the beauty and magnificence of the bush-the animals, the trees and the terrain. We identified birds by their songs until we could see them with our binoculars. The brilliance of bird colors reflected in the sunlight. WE were surrounded by a pride of twenty-five lions with two cubs frolicking and enjoying life. We visited hippo pools, teeming with crocodiles. The safari could not have been more exciting or fulfilling. Just to share time with elephants, observing them in their normal daily routines playing in the mud and hosing each other with water.
There's nothing as good as spending 12 hours a day photographing animals, living in a tent, eating gourmet meals and having the country's Ambassador be your guide, excellent!!!!

More than just a safari: feeling safe, adventurous and home
Enjanga Tours and especially our guide Izzy did an incredible job!! I was travelling together with my parents and my girlfriend through Botswana for 2.5 weeks and we loved it! We had been to trips in Tanzania, South Africa and Namibia before, but our trip with Izzy in Botswana was just perfect and the best holidays thus far!
Enjanga prepared everything there was to prepare and was even flexible, when we had some trouble with our flight to Botswana. During our tours or for the dinner meals they should great adaptabilities to our wishes. During one of our private dinners Izzy heard something rattle in the bush nearby. He turned on his flashlight and showed us a beautiful hyena walk by - checking out our dinner. However, we didn't feel scared, since we knew we save with the Enjanga team.
We really felt, like Izzy and his team put a great effort inside, to show us the best and most beautiful side of Botswana. Obviously we loved to see the large cats (Lion, Leopard, Cheater), but we as excited to learn more about the night animals and follow their tracks in the early morning hours before sun rise. The team made us feel, that every day was different and was full of surprises.
It was pure luxury. We would go on an exciting tour during the day and would arrive in the evenings to an already prepared "home" (tents, improvised kitchen etc.). While my girlfriend and my mother were playing a round of chess, I joined the cooks to see how they prepared dinner. While they should me there cooking tricks, we exchanged jokes and were enjoying the relaxed evening atmosphere. Another cold sun-downer and the evening was perfect. The best trip of my life!
I highly recommend a trip with Enjanga Tours & Safari and hope to come back in 2018!

Safari of a lifetime
I was to attend a conference in SouthAfrica and decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and do a campingsafari in Botswana even if I was to be a solo traveller. A friend recommended Enjanga. I wanted to foucus on archeological sites, Izzy, the owner designed a 12 day itinerary. And with Izzy as the guide and Dix as an absolutely incredible chef, baking and cooking on the fire I had a 10/10 experience incl Tsodilo hills with 3000 year old rockpaintings, the Kalahari meeting San people and gamewatching in the Okovangodelta, at Kwai, Moreni, Savuti Chobe National park, Chobe river boattrip and Victoria falls. I can warmly recommend Enjanga tours for solo women travellers with complete security during the whole process.

Our safari with “Enjanga” was a very great experience. Before we started the tour we were a little bit nervous, because we didn’t have no idea, how will it be. While the days with our guide and his team we learned many interesting facts about animals, geography in the region and botanic. And we saw a lot of animals about what we a very happy. Izzy is a legend
At the end of July/beginning of August 2024, I traveled with Enjanga Tours, i.e. Izzy, for the 4th time, this time alone.
It was an indescribable series of incredible experiences.
The boys, Izzy and his team picked me up at the airport in Maun and we went straight into the bush.
We were in third bridge, moremi and khwai, among other places. In addition to many lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, wild dogs and the "common" animals, I saw civet cats, cerval cats and a pangolin for the first time. It was breathtaking. I am still fascinated by the way Izzy "reads" nature, finds the animals and the warmth with which I was given an unforgettable time. Many thanks also to Orris and Mosh for looking after me so kindly.
