The best in the business!
We went on a 5 day safari with African Big Cat Safaris touring Tarangire national park, Ngorogoro crater and the Serengeti. It was the best experience ever with our guide Khaled!
African big cats was very responsive and Emmanuel made it so easy to organise the safari. They sent us a detailed itinerary and all the accommodation with pre departure information which was so helpful.
The 5 days were amazing - we saw the big 5 animals, learnt about Tanzanian culture and history and saw the wildlife in its natural habitat which is an incredible experience. We saw lions with their cubs, elephants walking around the vehicle and a cheetah eating its prey.
Our guide Khaled was the best!! He was so knowledgeable on the wildlife and their movements, and was able to get us to prime position to see all the animals. He is high experienced and we always felt safe in the drives. Highly recommend requesting him as your driver!

A trip of a lifetime!
If you haven’t been on a safari trip yet, this is a must-do, and the African Big Cats Safaris are the best in the business. They have the best guides and the best lodges and hotels, and pay attention to every detail. Their schedule is the best. Emanuel, the manager, gave us briefings and also got to meet us at the airport for feedback. A very genuine business owner who is keen on customer satisfaction, not driven by profit. Our guide, Khalid, was the best. He is super knowledgeable and has a magical way of finding every lion that can be found. We saw over a dozen lions, a couple of leopards,cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes, and hundreds of every other animal. Khalid was truly a highlight with his deep knowledge and politeness.
Don’t waste time looking. African Big Cats Safaris won’t disappoint.

Fantastic Safari Experience with African Big Cats Safaris
We had an excellent time with African Big Cats Safaris on a 4-night/5-day private safari. The amount of time was perfect to visit the major parks—Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Manyara—without feeling rushed.
Our guide, Claus, was great. He was not only friendly and professional but also very knowledgeable, ensuring we saw a wide variety of animals and had great experiences at each park.
The lodges and camps selected for us were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing end to each day of safari.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend African Big Cats Safaris to anyone looking for a well-organized, private safari. We’ll definitely choose them again for our next trip.

What an unforgettable experience!!
We are a family of 4 (women-3 generations) that went on our first safari with African Big Cats at the last week of November 2024. From booking to arrival to our final day with Big Cats, the service was exceptional. We chose to book our flights separately due to being in separate areas of the US, however, Big Cats offered to help if we needed to book. We booked the luxury package for 7 days. All our pre safari questions were answered quickly and our guide met us at the airport to take us to our first hotel in Arusha. They say the guide makes the safari and this couldn't be more true. Shout out to our amazing and very knowledgeable guide Ndenny (11 years of guiding experience) who seemed to spot the animals from miles away (we saw 4 of the Big 5 the first day!) as well as all the bird identification. Communication was easy and itinerary was discussed at the beginning and during the safari. The hotel accommodations were superb and the meals (packed lunches for the safari and dinners) were very good. Big Cats went above and beyond to make this trip truly unforgettable and I would not hesitate to book with them again in the future!

Great experience, great communication, great website, great guide, worth the money
Best vacation ever! Our guide Elias was amazing. He was able to answer all our questions, knew all the names of the animals, knew all the roads like the back of his hand, very helpful when communicating with other cars to know where to find animals. We used African big cat safaris and it was a great experience, their website is very well made, it was informative and organized. They allowed for full customization of your trip to any degree of luxury. We did the 10 day honeymoon experience 1 night Arusha gran Meliá amazing breakfast, 1 night Tarangire, 1 night Ngorongoro, 3 night Serengeti, 3 night Zanzibar. We highly recommend something similar maybe more days to not be so rushed, we also recommend doing the hot air balloon ride even if afraid of heights. Overall African big cat safaris was a great experience and would highly recommend to use! Also I recommend getting an eSIM to stay with data for communication we used sparks it worked well. For cash, 1000 for 2 people for 10 days is plenty, accounting for tips and souvenirs, food in all safari is included . If you want to buy tanzanite jewelry I recommend 2000-3000 cash some places charge 5% credit card fee. Visitor center in Serengeti has great jewelry and no fee on cards.

Superior guide (Lordlugrd), Excellent accommodation, prompt communication; a welcoming experience
Our Guide Lordlugrd made our the trip safe, informative and fun. He cared about the animals and knew their behaviors and where and how to spot everything.. He was well liked by the other guides and by staff at all the accommodations. All the staff at African Big Cats Safaris were quick to reply and pivot when plans changed. The vehicle was spotless every morning when we were picked even after all the mud around the hippos.. Lordlugrd took good care of us and was an excellent ambassador for the company.
The accommodations, the food and the people were all first rate.
This was a trip of a lifetime. We saw and experienced what I call "Going Back In Time". There are so many wild animals and interesting cultures to experience. Tanzania is like stepping into another world

Amazing service!
We chose African Big Cats to organize our honey moon safari trip. It was without a doubt the best decision we made. Starting from an excellent communication to plan the trip. They were super flexible to modify their luxury standard plan according to our requirements. Then during the trip the guide/driver had an incredible knowledge of the Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and all the animals we encountered, and he had a really good attitude all the time. The food in the lodges and the lunch boxes were amazing as well. Most of important of all we feel that the value for the money was very good.
I will definitely work with them again if we have the chance to come back.

Professional service with individual approach,
We had a 5 days/4 nights individual trip to Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro & Serengeti. Our guide Longi did his best to give us the best experience and maximum comfort. He is very experienced and strives to provide exceptional moments for his guests. We were able to observe lions, buffalo, elephants, leopards and many other animals, alghough we didn't see any rhinos which are really difficult to spot, according to what we heard from others.
A unique part of our experience was visiting a location during the early morning for the wildebeest migration, where we had our mobile breakfast right in the middle of this impressive movement.
The accomodation, meal, service were great and the itinerary was well planned.
