Experience of a Lifetime!
It’s been a week since we returned home from a very special 12-day safari and I’m still beaming. I can’t recommend African Big Cats highly enough -- they were wonderful!
We had the best guide in Obed…he took such great care of us! He was an excellent, knowledgeable guide, a careful driver, respectful of the wildlife, and a fun, agreeable companion who shared his beautiful country with us. We saw everything we hoped to see and more. We stayed at amazing camps, comfortable and accommodating. The staffs at each were welcoming and attentive to our needs and we enjoyed learning more about the local culture. The food was terrific as well! Much credit to the chefs at each location and to African Big Cats who provided us with a picnic feast each lunchtime, with a variety of hot food and even a daily coffee break!
Thank you to everyone at African Big Cats who created such a memorable experience for us!

Great team, great safari!
Travelled with ABC Safaris in August 2024, doing the northern circuit (tarangire, manyara, ngorongoro and then on to central and northern Serengeti to watch the migration). Value was excellent, especially for the accomodation inside Serengeti. they helped us set up our trip, and the duide's communication was also much better then what we experienced previously with another company. The guide was also very nice to our kids.

Amazing Safari with African Big Cats Safaris!
Well, sometimes is really difficult to express with words the emotions, excitement as well as happiness for such an event like safari tour. Thanks to African Big Cats Safaris organization and people involved, all this factors proved to be at the highest level of professionalism, kindness and knowledge about their work, people, traditions and many other small things that make your experience even more beautiful. Our guide/driver Ernest and our Tour organizer Emmanuel were definitely at their best helping us with everything and sometimes beyond their responsibilities (they helped us find an accommodation in the very short time, since we were not happy with the one we found on our own). This was a private tour, worth its money since the quality of the lodges, food and guidance was really very high. We felt safe every step of the trip, and our driver was so knowledgeable about savannah, wild animals that we managed to see all kind of wild lives we could not even imagine. I would definitely recommend this company thanks to their dedication, professionality and passion they put in literally everything they provide for their guests. Tanzania should be proud of its people and beautiful countryside.

Just wow
I don’t know where to even begin- wow! I cannot recommend African Big Cats and in particular our guide Lovoy enough. It has been the most incredible experience of our lives.
Firstly, I so was impressed with the measures the team took to ensure we had a special honeymoon and birthday (my partner had his birthday here). The food has been incredible and the lodges absolutely beautiful all recommended and sorted by the team
But the tour - not only have we seen every animal we were told we had a chance of seeing but we have been close up. The pictures are unreal. I am convinced this is something that Lovoy achieved that having seen the other companies out on the drives they do not. He is no nonsense and keeps working to get the best view. He has an infectious laugh and big smile.
I cannot emphasise Lovoy’s skill enough. Keeping us safe, ensuring the experience is fantastic,answering all our questions- but also his eagle eye spotting of animals has been incredible. He would say we’ve been lucky when we saw baby leopards and rhinos but I think that is only a small part- his skill is the bigger factor at play.
I am left with the most distinct of feelings that the Serengeti is the most magical place on earth. And I know Lovoy and African Big Cats are a big part of that. So thank you.

We thanks to African Big Cats for giving us, me and my husband, the best experience ever. They don’t give us just a safari, they made our honeymoon a wonderful experience.

And of course, thanks to the best guide ever, Khalid. We had a wonderful time together, we learned so much and enjoyed every single moment.
We rather recommend African Big Cats for living safari experience. The service, availability, kindness and preparation is totally worth it.

Reliable company with very experienced guides
We chose the company based on their offering and their intrest towsrds us as they always replied fast.Also their rates were reasonable and payment terms flexible. It turned out to be a good choise. All went as planned. We felt we were in very good hands all the time. Our guide Ernest was amazing.He knew so much and was able to find Big 5 and in adfition we saw river crossing part of the wilderbeest great migration. It was breathtaking experience. We took Zansibar extension which turned out to be good choice and much needed to relax after a weeks Safari experience.Zansibar is beautiful place to relaz

Fantastic experience
Amazing experience with Arfican Big Cats Safari, from beginning to end. The booking process was easy. They were quick at responding and more than happy to personalize the itinerary to suit our needs. We were provided with a thorough itinerary outlining acomodations, meal plans, daily activities, etc., and pre-departure information. Our guide Tesha was fantastic - friedly, professinal and very knowledgeable. Definitely a 5 star experience and worth every penny.

AMAZING!
African Big Cats Safari (ABC) was amazing!!! I had initially requested for a safari quote from several different companies through safaribooking.com. ABC stood out because of the amazing reviews but what sealed it for me was their prompt and thorough communication through both email and whatsapp. Justice and Naomi tailored an itinerary for my desire to see the migration and was so helpful in answering any questions I had. They really put my mind at ease through the payment and booking process. Thank you Justice and Naomi for helping me plan my first safari and for providing amazing service!
What made the safari truly amazing was our safari guide Venance. He made sure we checked off everything we had wanted to see. We saw the Big 5, multiple migration crossings, and so many up close encounters with the animals. I had my heart set on seeing a cheetah and Venance would not give up until I saw one. Venance was so knowledge and provided us with so many insights on the animals as well as the topography of the different parks. He was always early to meet us in the morning, made sure we got the best views, and was great company on our long game drives. Thank you Venance, you really made our Safari trip truly memorable.
Last but not least, Emanuel, the director of ABC met with us prior to the start of the safari and also at the end of the safari for a debrief. You can tell he really cares about the clients and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is happy.
I would highly recommend this company due to their dedication, passion, and professionalism. They made us fall in love with the Serengeti and Tanzania!

Professional, knowledgeable and good value for money
From Naomi in the office to John, our guide, in the field we could not fault African Big Cats Safaris at all
John was a font of wildlife and cultural knowledge, as well a a barrel load of patience, and really helped make our trip a roaring success, His ability to find animals to view without a massive caravan of other Land Cruisers was astounding
All in all we would definitely recommend African Big Cats Safaris to friends

Amazing experience
