Perfect Safari - Total recommendation for African Big Cats Safari!
African Big Cat Safari organized us a perfect safari week!
From start, picking us up at the airport, till the end everything was above and beyond our expectations.
Customer Service
Great and fast email support during booking and payment process.
On the first and last evening the Operations Manager Mr. Emanuel stopped by to discuss expectations and intinery making sure everything is aligned. On the last day he was asking for feedback, improvements and whether our expectations have been satisfied.
Guide
Our private guide Dominick picked us up from the airport and gave us a warm welcome. He was with us all time and made sure that everything was perfect for us and we didn’t had to worry about anything. He was very knowledgable about the wildlife, area, traditions and everything we asked about. We couldn’t have wished for a better guide.
We felt save and in good hands all the time. Thanks!
Food
We appreciated the “Hampa” fresh cooked meals for lunch during the game drives. It surely depends on the accommodation, but we were always provided with good and traditional foods at lodges and tented camps.
Accommodation
We booked a semiluxery safari with lodges and tented camps. Especially the tented camps are ideal to experience the wildlife and you still don’t miss out on anything.
Overall we can highly recommend African Big Cat Safari for your safari experience.

Unforgettable safari experience
We are so glad that we chose African Big Cats for our safari!
Naomi gave us great support right from the booking and preparations and did an excellent job.
We are especially satisfied with our guide Venance, who led us through nature for 7 days.
We felt safe with him behind the wheel at all times. Always punctual and, with his experience, he showed us so many animals, even away from all the other vehicles, including the Big 5.

Reliable
African Big Cats Safaris is a reliable company. Our tour guide “Lovoi” was very experienced, and knows the parks very well. We were impressed by his ability to spot animals that otherwise we would have missed. He was very polite and a joy to be around. A mix of Lovoi’s expertise and with luck, we were able to see the Big Five. He always positioned the safari car in a way that I was able to take the most amazing photos. Highly recommend this company. Safari superseded my expectations. Left Tanzania very happy to say the least!

Amazing honeymoon safari with African Big Cat Safaris!
We had the most amazing three days in Ngorongoro Crater and central Serengeti with African Big Cats Safaris. Emanuel and Naomi in head office were incredibly helpful planning our private and personalised safari, and were even more helpful when we unfortunately got delayed in Doha for two days on our way over and missed the first two days of our safari, which meant we needed to make some very last minute changes to our itinerary. But even with the missed days we had a great safari. Rick our driver was friendly, flexible and very informative about everything we saw. And we saw everything! We got amazing photos with the animals right next to the safari vehicle. The tented lodges were fabulous, particularly Kubu Kubu. It was all a lot more affordable than I had initially expected too - great value for money. I could not recommend this company enough!

Amazing Value & Service
I chose African Big Cats Safaris (ABCS) based on a recommendation from a colleague who had recently returned from her safari. At the end of my journey, I can confidently say it was an excellent and highly cost-effective choice. Their meticulous and attentive arrangements and service made my honeymoon safari absolutely perfect.
Communication beforehand was seamless; the sales person and operation girls both carefully listened to my needs, considering both itinerary preferences and budget constraints. The hotels selected were truly memorable, each boasting stunning surroundings, comfortable amenities, exceptional service, and often exceeding our expectations. Sometimes we got extra champagne （one from ABCS), bed / table decoration or room upgrade due to the honeymoon!
Upon arrival in Africa, our driver/guide met me and my husband and friends promptly and provided outstanding transfer and guiding services throughout the six days. We witnessed breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife across East Africa, and our guide shared fascinating insights into the local culture and customs.
I extend special thanks to ABC's manager for his detailed briefing upon arrival, prompt communication via WeChat throughout the trip (sometimes late into the night!), and thoughtful follow-up after our return. I also appreciate the considerate pick-up and drop-off arrangements they made for the two days we opted for independent exploration.
In short, I wholeheartedly recommend African Big Cats Safaris to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania. I also hope we'll have the opportunity to return to this beautiful and peaceful land to explore more about the cities and nature!

A fantastic guide and safari company!
I can't say enough great things about our safari guide, Elias! His knowledge of nature was astounding. He did a fantastic job of explaining anything interesting that he saw, and any question that we had, he had a fascinating answer for! Elias knew the parks like the back of his hand and we were able to see every animal that we were hoping to see (plus many more!). He also taught us so much about the different cultures and people of Tanzania as we were driving through various areas. Everything went so smoothly. We knew exactly where we were heading and our guide did a great job of informing us how long it would take to get to our different stops.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this company!

Incredible Safari Honeymoon
We went on an 8-day safari for our honeymoon at the beginning of October. The planning process was so smooth with William (pre-booking) and Naomi (post-booking), which made us feel at ease and taken care of before even getting there. The company was always very quick to respond and was able to create an itinerary that hit all of the places we wanted, with plenty of time so it didn’t feel too rushed.
When we arrived, a driver was waiting at the airport for us, and the next day our guide, Elias picked us up bright and early to start the safari. We had been looking forward to this trip and planning it for quite awhile and it exceeded our expectations. Elias was a great driver, kind, friendly, and so knowledgeable about the parks & wildlife. We were blown away that we could point at any animal/bird and he would be able to name it and tell us about it. It was clear that he was an experienced guide - we enjoyed our conversations with him, always felt safe, and learned a lot. We were sad to say goodbye when the trip came to an end, after spending 8 great days with him.
Every park we went to was so unique and had its own special experiences and landscapes. I would definitely recommend including Tarangire National Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in your itinerary. And the lodges were amazing - we especially enjoyed watching the watering hole from the pool deck at Tarangire Simba Lodge and the amazing hospitality and balcony views at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge and Lions Paw.
We saw so many elephants (our favourites because we had so many close up encounters with them), lions, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, gazelles, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, etc. Elias was always able to put us in a position to have a great view of the animals and was in touch with the other guides to share locations when something exciting came up.
African Big Cats also arranged for us to do a crater rim hike, which was incredible. It was nice to experience the area by foot and the view was amazing. If you’re thinking about booking a safari, I would highly recommend booking with ABC, they handled everything for us and it made for a relaxing and bucket list trip we will never forget!!
