Once in a lifetime safari - Wakanda Forever!
5 of us had the best experience possible for our 4 day safari with Wakanda Tours.
From the beginning, Bartho the owner was very responsive over whatsapp, giving us many options to choose from and answering all questions quickly. Obviously with Covid it is difficult to commit to a big trip like this and Bartho totally understood, offering free cancellation should it be needed.
The trip itself was phenomenal. Our guide Andrew was an absolute dream. The son of a Serengeti Park ranger his passion for the wildlife and knowledge of all the parks we visited was unbelievable. Thanks to him we completed the big 5 and saw no less than 4 leopards, one from about 3 metres away - truly magical stuff! Everyone's safari will be different in what you see but with a guide like Andrew you have the best chance possible of seeing everything you dreamed of.
The food from our chef Dullah was of a crazy high standard for the tools he had available. Cooking from an open fire and bbq he produced breakfast, lunch and dinner to the standard of a resort hotel.
Dont hesitate to get in touch with Bartho and he will answer any questions you have. All I can say is you would be crazy not to book with yhese guys!

BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL! We wouldn't have wished for someone better than Elia to be our safari guide!
Everything about Serengeti Wakanda Tours was beyond amazing. Before we go on the safari itself, Bartho was available to answer all our questions (and we had a lot). It was NYE and he still made time for us. One of us has a phobia of insects & geckos and when explained this to Bartho, he made sure that our rooms in the lodge were extra clean, and they were!
On the safari itself, we had the awesomest tour guide EVER, Elia! Elia was super friendly and helpful all throughout. He is very knowledgeable and always gave us this interesting trivia about the animals in the park. He also has a very artistic eye for the best photos! He's very kind and so much fun; he always played for us our favorite African songs and we sang and danced together. As for the game drives, Elia always made sure that we're up and ready in the car on time to see everything we wanted to see; and honestly speaking, he exceeded our expectations every single day.
We must also tell you about Doula, our safari cook. Everyday we had fresh and tasty food AND dessert. Even on days where we slept in tents in a campsite, we also had tasty and hot food cooked with passion, along with Doula's infamous FRESHLY BAKED BREAD! People around us with other safari companies had packed sandwiches while we had a daily feast, 3 meals a day.
So to conclude, we saw elephants, zebras, cheetahs, wild beasts, buffalo, leopards, hyenas, antelopes, hippos, and LIONS... and it was absolutely glorious... but we wouldn't have had this amazing experience without Serengeti Wakanda. So THANK YOU, Bartho, Elia, and Doula! You are awesome and your passion is beautiful :-)
We will see you soon x

Amazing Experience
We did the 4 day lodge safari with two adults and a child.
Bartho was well organized and communicative from our initial inquiry through to the end.
He gave us a detailed itinerary so we knew exactly what to expect, and was flexible with some last minute changes we needed to make. The whole process was very smooth and it was easy to stay in contact with him.
Our guide Felix was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the plants and animals we saw during game drives, and also shared lots of information about local customs, history and language. He had a great eye for spotting far off animals. He was happy to go at our pace and we never felt rushed.
Despite the bumpy roads we felt safe and comfortable with him driving.
Lodging was very comfortable, clean, safe and had good service. Each had wifi connection in the central lounge and dining area, and hot showers. Some lodges had buffet style and had set menu, but were able to accommodate our request for vegetarian meal.
Food for lunchss were packed each day by the previous nights accommodation. There was a variety of food to choose from and always more than enough.
Over all excellent experience and good value for money.

Impeccable service!
A "budget safari" with a quality of service above expectations: Comfortable vehicle, very professional guide, excellent cook (chef level), all really included in the price, accommodation in simple but very comfortable lodges and camping in N gorongoro in good quality igloo type tents (comfortable, really waterproof, etc.).
Highly recommended

The Epitome of Quality over Quantity.
I went on a 5 day Serengeti camping safari during the last week of January 2022. It took me a while to pick a Safari company but finally settled on Serengeti Wakanda. They had good reviews and I figured the value was great compared to the other Safaris I had been seeing so I thought to myself, Eh, What the hell. Why Not. I reached out to Wakanda and was instantly impressed. First off, Let's talk about the owner; Bartho. He reached out to me personally and answered any and all question I shot his way, and there were quite a few. He is an awesome guy, professional, fun, polite. Overall. 5 Star dude. He even took it upon himself to set up a meeting with me after my Safari had concluded as he wanted to meet me personally, I'm not sure if that's because I was special or because he takes it upon himself to meet everyone his company takes out. Either way, it was great.
If I could describe my entire experience out on my Safari in one word, it would be Perfect. I must say however, that most of the reasons it was perfect was because of variables that would be different for everyone who goes out. The luck we had with the animals, the group of people I was randomly put with on my Safari, The driver and cook we got randomly paired with, the fact I was lucky enough to have my itinerary modified for an extra day on the Serengeti, the weather, and many other facts that all came together to make the Experience perfect. These are all variables that differ from time to time, The one constant that I can identify that helped make the trip as good as it was, is the company itself: Serengeti Wakanda. When I was out on the Safari, we spoke with a few other Safaris we ended up camping alongside. Every single time I spoke with other people I kinda looked away and the end of the conversation thanking the gods I randomly selected Wakanda. Some other companies cram more people than are comfortable in the vehicles, some companies have more roguish Safari behavior, other companies have a lot of up charges they don't mention, other companies don't get home cooked freshly made meals cooked by a personal safari chef 3 times a day, (they get small meal boxes) the list goes on and on of stories and things about issues other companies have that Wakanda just didn't. I got supremely lucky on my trip, but I owe most of it to Wakanda for allowing the luck to come to fruition. I would recommend this company to everyone and anyone looking to take a Safari. Bartho very heavily sticks to the Quality over Quantity formula and I hope to the gods that as his company inevitably continues to grow in both size and success, that he maintains that mentality.

The most unforgettable experience
My friends and I had booked a four day Safari via Serengeti Wakanda in the course of which we visited the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.
I can say without a doubt that all our expectations were not only met but most definitely exceeded.
First of all the entire tour was perfectly organized down to the last detail.
Our tour guide Andrew was the most competent and welcoming guy who provided us with a lot of useful information about the nature and the animals in the parks. Regardless of how detailed our questions were he was never at a loss of answers and made a great effort to allow us an experience of the animals at close quarters.
Dullah, our private chef, didn’t surprise us any less with his first- rate freshly cooked meals. The jealous looks to our plates from other tourists confirmed that it wasn’t only our group who thought that Dullahs meals were the most appetizing ones.
Worth of mentioning is also that Serengeti Wakanda definitely has the most attractive price/ performance ratio.
By any account we had an unforgettable time and we warmly recommend the tour to all of you.

The best
This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. We did a six day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and lake Manyara.
We had the best experience because of our guide and driver Andrew, who spotted so many animals and knew even more about them and our chef Dula who prepared three excellent and delicious meals per day.
Overall I rate safari in Tanzania 5/5, but Andrew and Dula Made it 10/5!

Enchanting Safari - Asante Sana
Thanks to an exceptional team Bartho , Andrew and Abdullah for creating a magical tour for us to remember rest of our life.
Right from start Bartho ensured we are listened to , our special requirements catered to.
What a fantastic team Bartho put for us : Andrew the Driver Guide and Abdullah the sous Chef
They had made the experience great whether rain or sunshine
Andrew a passionate guide takes all effort to make sure we get to see all animals including birds. His driving skills so far is awe for us , But safety is his paramount. Amazing to hear the insights of animal behaviours, magical sunrise Safari , Serengeti is networked into his amygdala with knowledge of where to spot the animals , which for us was oblivious, his engagement with the passengers teaching Swahili - tons of energy . Best the vehicle is always clean and fresh in the morning.
Giving plenty of spots to take wonderful photos and ensuring we are always catered to
Abdullah a meditative soul is the top chef in the camp makes the menu taste like a posh restaurant . Attention to detail and catering to each passengers preference. his novel way of baking fresh bread during the Safari using basic amenities amazing just using a temp coal fire and an old tin luggage has to be seen and experienced allowing us to engage in the preparation with the mantra
WE ARE A TEAM WE ARE A FAMILY
The Safari starts with a good introduction at Tarangire moving to the adventure at Serengeti and engaging in spotting rhinos at Ngorogoro. The Lake Manyara was ironically not great snd could be dropped.
The limitation of Serengeti tickets could be explained earlier so the Safari could be planned accordingly. As we observed all Safari loose time due to this and the long drives
The campsite experience is magical with elephants grazing , lions growling and Hyneas laughing matching the frequency of guests snoring. If you have energy zip out of the tent take a toilet break and count the stars. You might encounter a zebra or elephant outside waiting to greet you.
The fig tree lodges is comfortable settled in the village so you are woken up by prayer calls. The staff smile and serve showing us how important guests is for their livelihood.
Please contact Bartho and book your next Safari and ask for Andrew and Abdullah team
Wish this continues
