Outstanding Customer Service
Myself and my husband worked with Hitesh, the owner, for a couple weeks placing together the itinerary of one of our "bucket list" trips. We can't even begin to express how amazing Hitesh is. His communication is fast, pleasant and always super helpful. Never hesitated to answer any of my thousand questions. We decided to use a local Arusha based operator instead of the overpriced operators in Canada we got pricing from. He took all our stress out of our entire booking experience, he handled every blip we had along the way with speed, kindness and compassion. He touched base with us along each and every change of destination, flights, excursions, and just because. His entire operation is so well oiled and smooth. Every single person he had look out for us along the way (Shout out to our SUPER DUPER safari guide Hajii, big love!) treated us with the utmost respect, kindness and care one could ever imagine. Trip of a Lifetime
Pooja travel and their staff gave us the best experience ever. I flew in from Mombasa, Kenya to meet my brother and nephew, who had flown in from Toronto, in Arusha. Then to Serengetti by air, then to Ngorongoro by road, Tarengiri by road, then to Zanzibar by air.
Our beautiful hotel stays. Woow is all I can say for all the Serena hotels we stayed at in Serengetti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar. In Terengiri - The elephant Lodge. In Zanzibar the RIU Palace. Excellent service everywhere. Staff was very courteous, helpful in all places. Loved all the hotels indeed. ❤️❤️❤️
Hitesh did a fantastic job of arranging all the flights for me from Kenya and also internally within Tanzania. He helped make our stays very memorable. He went beyond my expectations to help sort out everything, even when there was a small problem. Him and his drivers - Hajji and Ali went all out to make sure everything went well.

Five Star service at an Affordable price
Review for Pooja Travels
We chose Pooja Travel through a reference in a friends WhatsApp group and among other tour operators in the region. So why Hitesh? Well mostly because he was quick with quotes, quick with replies, quick at modifications to our itinerary and he had a great price for my SAFARI to:Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangarie. And his prices for my hotel choices and ZANZIBAR lounging at the RIU Palace was great. He helped me plan all this from Toronto. I explained my time situation and he presented options and costs very quickly, which was important to me as this trip was planned in 7 days.
Also once I met Hitesh in Arusha, most of my apprehension and stresses went away. All that anxiety and “What If’s” disappeared. My experience from planning to the end was simple. Hitesh seems to be an honest person who delivers what was promised and agreed to. And he goes beyond what one expects from a tour operator. He really helped me out a few times above and beyond his job.
Hitesh had also offered for me to pay when I land. This made it easier to deal with someone I have never met half way around the world. Anyways. It was wonderful planning and organizing my SAFARI trip with Hitesh. The Experience was good and stress free. I Loved my trip, loved my tour guides Haji and Hussain. Loved the Toyota Landcruiser just for US filled with water for the journey. I Loved meeting Hitesh in person. Loved the hotel choices in Arusha, Serena Hotels for our Safari’s and Serena Hotel in old town and Tarangire Elephant Springs then RIU Palace in Zanzibar’s North Coast.
We decided to fly directly into Kilimanjaro airport from Toronto via Frankfurt. I spent one night in Moshi bc I lived there up to age 8, then we went to Arusha to meet up with my sister who was flying in to join our Safari. We flew directly to Serengeti from Arusha, to save time. Glad I did. Such a picturesque flight. And cut plenty of road travel time down.
Best I Loved my choices for Serena Hotels. And I can say without a doubt Serena Ngorongoro service is the best I have ever had. Such friendly service. Such nice people. A close second is Serena Serengeti for the same reasons. Excellent service. My son celebrated his 18th birthday evening at the Serena Serengeti. They brought us cake and sang in Swahili to him. Very embarrassing but as a dad, I was so happy he got to celebrate his 18th birthday at the Serena on the other side of the planet. Couldn’t have asked for a better memory. FYI: Hitesh took care and planned all this for me. Loved it. Thank you Hitesh.
Efficient and friendly tour operator
Excellent , Fantastic, Great are just a few words to describe the services provided by Pooja Travel and Tours of Arusha. We were a group of 11 family members who traveled from Toronto, Canada to Arush, Tanzania visiting Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and then proceeding to
Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. The itinerary was carefully prepared by Hitesh of Pooja whose experience and knowledge is extremely commendable. Exploring the National Parks in Pooja's land cruisers with friendly driver-guides was very comfortable and enjoyable. All this was very well planned and taken care of by Hitesh.

hajji was delight to have as our guide. He collected us from the airport and had cold drinks ready and the exact itinerary planned out, as agreed.
All taken of and knew I was in safe hands with my 8 year old son.
We went to 3 different parks over 3 days which were Brilliant especially day 2, where we travelled to the xxxxx crater, which was amazing experience seeing all the animals with my young son. Magical memories with my son will be unforgettable.
Be back again soon and will definitely use Hajji again. Thanks Hajji for creating beautiful memories for me and my son.

We went for a 10 day trip to Tanzania from Mumbai, India. Pooja travels did the entire end to end planning for us.
We started from Arusha and then went for a 5 day safari to terengire, Manyara, serengity and ngorongoro. It was an absolute gem of an experience. Post the safari, we went for 3 nights to Zanzibar, which was an absolute delight. Was not aware of this hidden gem in the Indian ocean.
Right from receiving us at Arusha till the time we were dropped back, we were treated like a royalty. Choices of hotels, food and above all the driver guide Godfrey was all wonderful.
We enjoyed every moment of our trip and are back with many wonderful memories.
Hitesh Bhai deserves a huge applause for his efforts and perfect execution.

Pooja Travels & Tours did an AMAZING job with our group booking! We were 21 of us travelling from Canada and US! Hitesh arranged for us to be picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport and made sure his guides/drivers were with us the entire time. We spent a couple days in Arusha and then off to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guides, William, Godfrey and Rashid were absolutely AMAZING, very knowledgeable and ensured our safety at all times! They made sure we saw the BIG 5 :) We spent a few days in Zanzibar after the Safari and Hitesh arranged for a guide to tour the Stone Town, Prison Island and Spice Farm! Hitesh and his team were outstanding throughout the trip and made sure we were having a great time! I would highly recommend Pooja Travel & Tours for all your bush and beach vacations in Tanzania!
