Perfect in every detail
Bernard is the right person in the right place. He was very polite and what is more important he was perfect organized and prepared for everything.
Our trip was good scheduled and we were totally taken care since we have met at airport. Even when we wanted change a plan, Bernard was flexible and try to find for us the best solution. Athosphere was very nice, we really enjoyed company of Bernard and Sophie.
We decided to go with TrueVine Safari, because that was the best offer and we don’t regret - we get great price and everything was exellent prepared.
We truly recommend TrueVine Safaris. They will organized everything for you so you can without any stress enjoy your trip.

Amazing experience!
The gorilla tour with TrueVine was better than we could have imagined. The experiences were fun, accommodations luxurious and communicating with Bernard effortless.
We were also extremely lucky to have Sophia (a guide currently in training) with us. She was easy to talk to and also introduced us to authentic Ugandan culture. Her being there was a perfect example how Bernard only chooses the best peole to lead the tours.

One of the best tours I've ever been on
It really surprises me how few reviews there are of TrueVine. I was sceptical at first because of this however after reaching out, Bernard had numerous video calls to discuss the ins and outs of the tour planning which was really helpful.
During the planning Bernard was so helpful. He costed multiple different itineraries and walked me through the pros and cons of each. If, like me, you think the tours in East Africa were rather expensive, its pretty much entirely the national park permits and fees (that go to wildlife conservation) so ask for a breakdown of you're unsure.
The trip itself was spectacular. We booked for ~5 nights and thought Bernard was so excellent that doubled out trip duration at the end of it. This now obviously meant that Bernard organised the rest of the trip on effectively zero notice and still delivered a tour that exceeded expectations.
Bernard truly went above and beyond like no other guide I've ever had. We rented some equipment in Kigali and Bernard even helped us liaise with the shop by calling them on our behalf to organise pick up and drop off. He is genuinely such a caring and attentive guide, not to mention we were crying with laughter at how great his stories were during the long driving days.
I don't usually book tours and prefer to travel at my own pace. In this instance I cannot imagine not having Bernard and his decades of experience in the region.

Reliable, thoughtful, very professional tour operator - amazing experience!
We did an 11-day tour in Rwanda (with gorilla tracking in Uganda) with Bernard Mugisha and True Vine Safaris. Bernard was the best guide: pleasant, reliable, knowledgeable, ready to accommodate plans whenever possible according to our needs. Communication through WhatsApp was very easy and clear from the beginning; we asked him many times to change the itinerary as we could not decide what to focus on, and he was very quick in answering with suggestions of what best met our wishes. He showed high reliability and also provided good companionship during our trip, being present and discrete at the same time. The experiences we had in Rwanda were among the best of our lives. I 100% recommend booking with them!

Everything met or exceeded our expectations.
Very good communication when organizing the trip - Mugisha was available to accommodate all the requests to make the trip tailor made to our requests. Super reliable and very passionate about his job.
Mugisha is also a great guide, very knowledgeable about the culture and the animals.
Value for money is great.
The tour was organized in all the details and we also had the flexibility to add activities on the same day to our requests.

Very professional and attentive
Our experience with TrueVine Safaris has been excellent. From the first moment, it was very easy to organize everything, and as soon as they picked us up from the airport everything went smoothly. We were able to do everything we wanted to do, and in a very comfortable way. In addition, they knew at all times what we wanted, our interests and even organized the stops for it, since we had already discussed at the beginning what those interests were. We arrived at the best places for birdwatching, and they even knew the best local guides for them, having them already on notice so that they would be available. A wonderful experience. Without a doubt, Bernard Mugisha, owner of Truevine Safari, provided us with the best family adventure we could ever had imagined. Starting with our pick up at the airport and continuing on throughout our 10 day Ugandan safari, Bernard was amazing/knowledgable/charming-a true pleasure to be with 24/7 with our family. It's also a tribute to him that our 18 and 20 year old daughters also loved Bernard and it truly felt like he was a part of our family for this trip of a lifetime. The service provided on this trip was 5 star but amazingly enough, it was very affordable.

Unforgettable experience with a reliable company
We did a 10 days private tour across Uganda with TrueVine and we loved it! Our guide Bernard is one of the most honest and trustworthy people I ever met. He is the guide you want for your trip in East Africa: very knowledgeable about the history, the nature and the culture of Uganda, an expert driver and he always did the extra mile to look for the animals. The car we had was strong and we never had problem with it despite most roads in Uganda are not paved. The itinerary was full of places to see and activities and it is completely customizeable according to your preferences. We chose the mid-range accomodations option and we really liked all the hotels we went, all clean closed to the parks and the food was always good. Highlights of the trip were definitely gorillas and chimps. We totally recommend this company for your trip in the pearl of Africa! They organize trips in all east africa and you will be able to include also few countries in your itinerary.
