Exhilarating safari for amazing value
This was our first safari and because we were on a budget we werent sure what to expect. The offer we received from Lennard was by far the best value while having the most dynamic itinerary.
We were very pleasantly surprised by how nice the accommodation was...spacious, comfortable and in an absolutely stunning setting.
One the first day we were taken on an evening river safari where we were delighted to see (and hear!) Many hippos and crocodiles. It was a super exciting start to our trip and our boat guide was very engaging and knowledgeable.
On the second day we went on a game drive and were incredibly lucky to see an elephant within minutes of entering the park. Thanks to the skill of our driver Lennard we were able to see everything we wanted...zebras giraffes warthogs and even lions! Lennard was the perfect mix between ensuring we saw as many animals as possible while maintaining a respectful distance and not being intrusive. Because selous is one of the more underdeveloped parks we felt like we had the park almost to ourselves and felt very much immersed in nature.
On the third day we went on a walking safari where we were lucky to come across a whole herd of elephants. We also learned a lot.about the native plants insects and birds thanks to.our incredible guide.
We cant thank Lennard enough for taking such good care of us on our first safari. He made it an incredibly special and unforgettable.experience. 100% recommend this to others particularly younger travelers.

Well organised end to end...
Lenard picked us up at the airport and was cheerful, even though we arrived at 4am. Then straight to Selous, a quick rest and a river safari. Walking tour in the morning and then a full day game drive with plenty of animals. Next day a long drive to Mikumi, ending with a beer and a swim in the pool. Next day a full day in Mikumi park, good to see the different landscape from Selous and some new animals. Then a drive back to Dar and straight in the ferry to Zan.

Excellent 1 day / 2 nights Selous Safari
We had an excellent time during this safari trip. Lenard picked us up at our accommodation in Dar Es Salaam and drove us to Selous. Firstly, we felt very safe in the car; he asked us to let him know if everything was ok and not to hesitate to tell him to adapt his driving!
When we arrived at Ngalawa Camp we had a hour to relax and settle in our bungalow before heading off on a boat safari to see hippos and crocodiles. Lenard lent us his binoculars which was awesome because we got to see so much ! The next day we did a safari drive in the game reserve and the first thing we saw was an elephant crossing the road in front of us ! The drive was excellent, Lenard brought us to great places to see all kinds of animals, was super attentive and always on the look out, and answered all our questions. We had such a great time ! The next morning we woke up early and did a morning bush walk with an amazing guide and an armed ranger and got to see a whole family of elephants cross in front of us ! After that Lenard drove us back to Dar and even helped us sort out our ferry tickets to Zanzibar. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was patient, kind and accommodating throughout the whole trip. We definitely recommend him !

All inclusive safari in all meanings
Hello to everyone!
We took a 3-days safari to Selous through Going Green Safari and were guided by Lenard. He picked us up in time from the ferry port in Dar Es Salaam and brought us to Ngalawa camp within around 5 hours (a good driver). On the way there and further in game reserve Lenard told us many interesting facts about fauna life and his practice in safari guideness. He saw everything by his experienced look, what we did not see (snakes, birds, lizards etc.) Accomodation was good (10 minutes away from the game reserve) and quite comfortable (at least we had the most necessary - water, electricity, meals, beds). It was amazing to fall asleep, while birds were crying nearby. When we moved through Selous, our safety was a priority for Lenard and he instructed us in detail, how to behave. On the way back to Dar Es Salaam he kindly sought out occasional mango in the road market, which we wanted to take home with us (similar as he searched out animals for us in the reserve). Lenard is a open-minded, friendly guy and can be highly recommended for safari trips, as well as his company. Only pleasant impressions from communications with him!

Excellent experience made even better by Lenard
We recently returned from 2 nights exploring Selous and we were not disappointed at all. Firstly we were picked up from our hotel by Lenard and explained the days itinerary. Communication and information provided was always spot on and if we had any queries, Lenard was always on hand to go above and beyond. The whole duration of our trip was planned perfectly and the meals were delicious. Simply put, I wouldn’t look any further than Going Green Safari Tours and for sure will be using Lenard on my next adventure. He is more than a guide and more of a companion on this wonderful experience.

Great Safari experience in Selous!
Before going to Tanzania, we hadn't really planned on going on a safari, but looking back, we're really glad we did! Driving to Selous from Dar es Salaam was great to see more of the country. We had a good vibe in the car, nice convos and a delicious local meal on the way to our camp. After arrival, we rested and then did a great boat safari. The game drive the next day was really interesting. Lenard was knowleadable, fun to talk to and except for Zebras we managed to spot all game we had hoped to see. Simply a great guide & a great guy! We can definitely recommend doing a Safari with Goin Green Safari Tours and advise you to book the tour directly with him.

Into the wild-- Selous-- Mikumi
It was just amazing... great... wonderful... and we saw one big lovestory about a lion woman who felt in love with an old lion king. We will never forget this hours by watching them... and in the end, after a long fighting and a long day, she got what she love... happy end.
Lenard is a great guide and knows a lot about the animals and he is a really safe driver. We hope to be back soon and see more of this wonderful wildlife in tanzania.
HAKUNA MATATA --- and always SAFARI NJEMA.
ASANTE SANA Lenard!!

3-Day Selous game reserve safari
This safari was the highlight of my holiday in Tanzania/Zanzibar. The whole experience was amazing and we got to see a lot of wild animals, beautiful scenery and stunning sunsets. Our guide Lenard was easy-going and knowledgeable. We got to see more animals then I had expected and he took us really close to them. Accommodation was nicer then expected and had a cosy feeling of camping. Only thing I regret was not making our safari a bit longer, we picked the 3 day/2 nights in Selous game reserve.
