Helpful and always on time
5/5

We were on a two-day trip to Mikumi National Park. The first day we were on Safari. The second day we visited Udzungwa mountain. The safari can not compete with the large national parks in terms of wildlife and lushness, but Mikumi was very intimate - we were allowed to drive the safari car ourselves some of the way and we had to get out of the car when it was safe and get close to the peaceful animals.
We stayed at Simanga Lodge. Nothing fancy and sparse with space, but there was air conditioning and we stayed relatively little in the room, so that was fine enough. We ate at Camp Bastian, which is not the same place to stay overnight - the food was really good compared to what we have otherwise experienced in Tanzania.
All in all, a nice trip and Lenard was helpful with small issues that arose along the way. So if you are in Dar Es Salaam, and do not have the time / profit / desire for the big popular Safari places in Arusha, then Mikumi National Park can definitely do something too.

10+ Service
5/5

If I will ever have the chance to do again a Safari, I would definitely choose the same company and the same awesome guide: Lenard! There is no doubt that he is an experienced guide and he can drive you to the best spots at the perfect time to see the wild animals: hippos, crocodiles, lions, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, impalas and with a little bit of luck you can see rare animals in middle of the day as hyenas and leopards! If you're not convinced, checked the pictures: in 2 days of game drive, one in Seoul and one in Mikumi, we had to chance to see 18 giraffes in one single place, female and male lions, lots of hippos, buffalos, impalas, crocodiles enjoying the meal and many many other. Because every Safari is different, I can only guarantee that if you choose Lenard, it will be a great experience. He pays attention to lots of details: cold water always available, meals preferences, best accommodation and room based on availability, clean car because during a safari it can get very dirty ... he even bought us candies as a small treat ! And if you people are nice, you don't get only a guide, you get also a friend!

They pampered us the way we wanted
5/5

The service of This company was amazing and professional since the beginning. Starting with Vivian in the moment she contacted me back in November when I first sent a message showing interest for me and my husband to do Mikuni Park Safari Tour 3 days. The communication was smooth and they let us pay until we got to Dar Es Salam ( the day the safari started )
Then Lenny picked us up and drove to Mikuni Park, we took around 6 hours because we stopped several times for coffe, the restroom, and to buy things to take with us to the hotel
We got to the hotel and was very cute with a lot greens. Food wasn’t the best, but service was great. They took us to meet the Masai community and we learned a little bit how they live in Tanzania
The next day, other guys picked us up for the safari since very early until 5pm which was great because we really took advantage of the day to be able to see all the animals : impalas, elephants, lions, giraffes, monkeys, crocodiles , hippos and more. We ate a lunch box in the middle of the jungle ( not too tasty, but at least to recover energies )
The last day we came back to Dar Es Salam, on the way back, Leny stopped serveral times for us to be able to take pictures of the animals that we could see in the middle of the road, also to eat Tanzanian food, to buy souvenirs from Tanzania and more. We took long time to go back but it was a very enjoyable experience because Lenny took care of us, pampered us the way we wanted and took us back safe to Dar Es Salam.
Thanks a lot Green Safari for such an amazing experience that let us learned a lot about Tanzanians and the animals that belong to here #AsanteSana

2 day 1 night safari to Mikumi National Park from Dar Es Salaam, booked through an aggregator site. Lenny responded quickly with a comprehensive email, and a very good price. We discussed a few details and confirmed the booking a few hours later.
I was picked up from my address at the agreed time. Comfortable drive to Mikumi, with a couple of rest stops along the way. Lenny was happy to answer any questions on the drive.
At Mikumi, I was met by my guide Ladislaus and driver Omali. Switched to the open top land cruiser vehicle. I was lucky enough to have the vehicle all to myself. We had a great game drive, and were lucky enough to see a pair of lions mating right near our vehicle! Lots of giraffes, zebras, antelope, buffaloes, elephants and many other animals and birds seen through the day. The hippo pool was full due to recent heavy rains, so saw some partially submerged hippos. Ladislaus and Omali did a fantastic job, and were happy to go at my pace.
We stayed overnight in a comfortable and clean lodge with an attached bathroom as well as air-conditioning.
All meals included, and pick up and drop included.
Going Green is highly recommended, and I will definitely be contacting them again on my next visit!

Perfect organized tour with super friendly people!
5/5

Im still excited about the amazing tour and all the animals I have seen. I was picked up early in the morning from my hotel in Dar and then had a good drive to the national park where Lenard introduced me to Jefferson (guide) and a driver which then did the private safari tour inside the park. Both Jefferson a d the driver, who’s name I forgot unfortunately did a great job and went the extra mile to show me as much animals as possible. I was a complete success and I’m still flashed!!! Thank you very much Lenard and team, it has been amazing!

I was picked up from the ferry port conveniently. We headed right to Mikumi, and in the evening we visited the Masai village. I had accommodation in a nice lodge, and had the meals in the campsite, where the food was delicious. On my private safari on the second day I met Ladislas and Omali, my guide and driver, who were very knowledgeable. We saw so many animals! Saw elephant many times (my favourite) and so close I could have touch them! We even spotted lions. The Sanje waterfall on the third day was breathtaking, although wasn't an easy hike for me, but my local guy and Ladi took care for me. 4th day we headed back to Dar, where I was dropped off at my hotel. Lenard always took care about my safety and comfort and as I am a solo traveller, it was very important to me. Thank you once again!

Wonderful time in the Mikumi National Park!
5/5

We did a 3-days Safari to Mikumi National park with Going Green Safari and it was a wonderful experience! The communication with Viv was very easy and fast. Lenny was our guide for the 3 days and he really took care of us. The lodge is beautiful! We had an own house for us, everything very clean and convenient. The food in the lodge was just so delicious and very fresh cooked! The national park itself is also so beautiful, you see animals all day long. We also visited a Massai village which was a very interesting experience. Thanks for this nice tour, we enjoyed it a lot.
