Wonderful trip, very professional company and guide
We just finished a 6-day safari with Gilmag. Everything was wonderful. We traveled from Kenya to Tanzania and arrived at the Serengeti smoothly. Our hotel every day was very beautiful. This is unforgettable. The owner of Gilmag greeted us very warmly outside the airport.
Our guide Prosper is very professional and has good driving skills. He has more than ten years of guiding experience. It often rains in Ndutu in January, and many cars are stuck. Prosper led us to drive smoothly with his professional driving skills.
Mr. Felix is also very professional. He is a very good person. After a month of communication, we decided to cooperate with him because the communication with him was very smooth and happy. Every day he asked us if we were satisfied and gave us very good care.

I had an incredible safari experience with Gilmag! From the moment I arrived, their attention to detail was impressive. They picked me up in Moshi at 9 AM on the first day, right on time, and provided a thorough introduction to the itinerary and planning for the upcoming days.
My contact person, Felix, was exceptionally warm-hearted. He checked in with me every day to ensure I was being well and to see if I needed any assistance. His care and attention to detail were truly commendable.
The hotel selection was unique and tailored to my needs, with meticulous filtering to ensure I was satisfied with each choice. I was delighted with every accommodation, which included a lodge, tent, and hotel, allowing me to rest comfortably after long days of adventure.
My guide, Prosper, was not only professional but also incredibly engaging. He had an extensive knowledge of the wildlife in each area and shared many fascinating stories about Tanzania, including insights into the Maasai way of life, the origins of various place names, and the habits of different animals. Every aspect of the service was meticulously planned, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.

This was a truly unforgettable trip. Gilmag is very professional.
We joined Gilmag's trip in September this year through Felix, the stuff in China. He was always very quick to answer various questions and gave very friendly advice.
From the beginning consultation, to the signing of the contract, to the final payment, everything went very smoothly. We were provided with free Chinese consultation.
The guide Eric was very professional. He took us to see a lot of lions. All the accommodations in Serengeti were also very memorable. We saw wildebeest crossing the river in the north.
Tanzania is very beautiful. I am already considering coming back for the second time next year. Gilmag is a very trustworthy Safari expert

Unique and fantastic experience
Extraordinary experience!
Everything was perfect. The selection of hotels, each unique and offering a new experience, the parks ( Tarangire, Lake Manayara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti), the super comfortable 4x4, and our amazing guide Erick, who shared his extensive knowledge of nature and life in these parks with us
We absolutely loved the Serengeti—the sights there are just breathtakingly beautiful.
Our teenagers, aged 15 and 18, loved the trip.
We ended our journey with a few days in Zanzibar at the BlueBay Resort, also organized by Gilmag Safaris. Everything was flawless. We were well taken care of from our arrival at the airport until our departure.

Best Safari we ever had!
Our Safari in August 2024 – with Gilmag-Safaris was the best one we ever had! – 10 days of wildlife in Tarangire, Manyara, Lake Natron, Serengeti and Ngorogoro-Nationalpark. We had so many close and exiting sightings of many kind of animals. Our guide Praygod Terry not only was an excellent and carefully driver, he was also a talking book – He knows almost everything about nature, no questions remained unanswered. And he always brought us into prime positions for the animalobservations - Leopard and Chetah even Serval – so close to the Road – Crossing of the wildebeest at Massai Mara – and more and more and more…..Thanks for your professional and very personal care! Great tour guide excellent safari
10/10 for Gilmag Safaris! What an amazing experience! We had an amazing time on our safari through Gilmag Safaris. We had made some last-minute changes to our African journey, emailed Gilmag Safaris and Mary was extremely helpful and responsive on making sure she got us booked and ready to go on a safari. Mary was super helpful and delivered exceptional customer service. She was quick to reply to my emails.
Gilmag Safaris arranged everything very well and our transfers and related arrangements went smoothly.
The accommodations were excellent and the staff members at the lodge were friendly and helpful. Our guide, Frank was very knowledgeable and the game drives were great. We saw all the big 5 and many other animals. We had a couple of very lucky sightings, including a lion roaming right next to our jeep. It was an incredible experience, beyond my expectations indeed. We had the perfect timing at the Mara River and witnessed two crossings from Serengeti to Maasai Mara. This was quite a spectacular event that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
I highly recommend Gilmag Safaris to anyone looking for a trip to Tanzania.

Very professional and friendly
I had a safari with Gilmag in Arusha, Ngorongoro Crater and Tangarire National Park. It was our first time in the area and Mary and Gilbert made sure we had the best safari experience. Our guide Gilbert seem to know the spots we would easily find the animals we were eager to see and was patient with us during the safari. We also visited several indigenous communities like Hadzabe and Maasai.

Amazing Big 5 Experience
We booked a 14 day safari with Gilmag Safaris and were worried about the reliability of the service, but when we read review feedbacks from previous customers, we knew we were going to be in the right hands. They were much cheaper than some other quotes received. Mary and her team were there for us and went the extra mile with every possible request had. Mary was always available on WhatsApp and her email replying was also exceptionally fast.
Nickson was a great driver and very friendly, making us feel comfortable from the first moment we met him. The safari was everything I wanted it to be. Within the first 2 days of the safari we saw all of the big five. We saw countless animals: lions, buffalo, leopards, elephants, Giraffes, Rhinos, Warthogs, impalas, Waterbucks, etc (all at close range). Don’t doubt and use this company. You won’t be disappointed! They mean business!

Best 14 days Kenya-Tanzania Safari
Our 14 days Kenya-Tanzania, organized by Mary at Gilmag Safaris, was absolutely spectacular, far surpassing even our highest expectations. This trip was the best vacation I’ve had up to date.
We found Gilmag Safaris randomly online. When booking a trip for Africa who knows where to start? I am glad we found Gilmag. Mary will probably learn reading this review that I was in discussion with 3 other tour operators during the planning stage. Not only was Mary more responsive than the others but her trip was the best value as well.
I’m happy that Mary recommended that we visit 3 different parks (Kenya – Masai Mara, Naivasha and Amboseli. Tanzania – Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire) in both countries - both were wonderful but had differences and we saw all of the big 5 and experienced so many amazing sights
Preparation and organization was excellent, every day a highlight, all things were safe. We had a wonderful experience in the planning of our Safari and had an absolutely FANTASTIC holiday! I wish I could relive this exact trip again and again because it was perfectly curated and so much fun. Much appreciation to our tour guides Amos and Nickson. We love Tanzania and highly recommend it as a must do destination.
