Great safari and beach holiday
Julius organised our safari for us including hotels, transfers and flights. We knew what we wanted: eco lodge with local driver and guides. He arranged everything for us. We stayed at Eagle View, flew into Olseki airstrip and were picked up by our guides and driver. We had a fabulous 3 day safari, we saw lots of lions including lion cubs playing with each other, cheetah, elephants, hippo, crocodiles, lots of giraffe, antelopes, warthogs, ostriches, baboons and almost saw a leopard. A great safari and a great beach holiday at southern palms, Diani.

Amazing Kenya - 8 Day Safari Trip
My husband and I travelled to Kenya on an 8 Day Safari trip exploring Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha & Masai Mara.
I enquired with many tour companies, and it wasn't hard to pick Julies just based on his prompt responses and flexibility. I loved the fact that he never tried to upsell anything that we were not interested in and recommended what would work best for our tour. I wanted to swap a few camps, and he happily adjusted the plan. The cherry on the cake was Sammy, our appointed driver and guide. He was friendly and informative on the parks, animals, and culture and was just a delight to journey with( which is so important as you spend most of your day with the guide). Most of all, he looked like he actually loved his job. I really believe that we couldn't have had such an emulsive experience without JT & Sammy.

Great safari with the best services
We were pick up from Nairobi airport and transfer by jeep to Amboseli park- where we had a beautiful accommodation to Kibo safari camp.
It was so funny my little daughter when she so our room was so terrified “are we gonna stay in a camp”? After that all period she said it was the best accommodation. Very clean, monkeyz with babies all over, food was great .
Our guide Sammy was very good, he gave us a lot of information.
In Tsavo East and West was like we were staying with the animals - to Niguria and Voi Safari lodges .
All the experience was incredible and we had a lot of fun.

Great, unique and tailored experience - 100% recommendation
We booked a 5 day private safari visiting Tsavo east, west, amboseli and taita hills. The trip was the highlight of our stay in Kenya. While we followed the perfect organized schedule we were able to visit the most outstanding places in the national parks, seeing the most important parts of wildlife and nature which was an once in a lifetime experience. One thing that also made our trip special was our driver with whom we had a lot of fun, pleasant conversations and who always did everything to make the best out of the trip for us! The places for overnight stay that were booked for us were of highest quality, directly in the parks with animals in the camp. In the end the trip could not have been better and we would recommend it to everyone looking for a great safari trip!
Thank you again for everything!

Amazing service with attention to details
We spent 4 days on safari and visited 3 national parks - Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Prior to booking the safari, we sent inquires to many companies in Kenya and Tanzania. Julius Safaris offered the best price ... and later an outstanding service! From the day we started planning our trip, Julius (the owner of the company) personally communication with us and made a few very useful suggestions about the safari lodges. Our guide Harrison picked us from Nairobi. He was very friendly, polite, punctual and patient. His comments during the game drives were extremely interesting and useful. He is very good in spotting animals! At the end of our safari we were left at our beach hotel in Mombasa. Julius himself spoke to us to ask about our trip and brought some local African souvenirs as a gift. We would without hesitation recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a safe and unforgettable safari trip. Julius Safaris is the best!

Great safari and advice based on our requests.
Julius Tact Safaris is a reputable and professional outfit!
They organised a super trip to Tsavo East and West with full board accommodation at Sentrim and Severin safari camps. We saw so much wildlife with our knowledgeable guide Dominic that we extended our trip by a night through our guide and from our jeep as he communicated directly with the team. Thank you JT safari's and team.

Super Safari with JTSafaris
We recommend JT Safaris to everyone who wants to have a excellent and safe safari.
We have visited Kenya for the first time in July 2023 with our 3 teenage daughters; in 10 days we have been to Amboselie NP, Samburu NP, lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara NP. All parks are very different in landscape and wildlife. It is an intensive journey (long drives and early wake-ups) but it is more than worth it! Kenya has magnificent parks and very friendly people.
Julius (owner of JT Safaris) gave good suggestions for the parks and accomodations and George was our perfect guide. He is a safe, experienced driver and a good animal spotter. He is very familiar with all parks we have visited.
The are many safaris companies in Kenya but for us JT safaris is the recommended party for good choice of parks and accomodations and a safe and experienced driver with sharp eyes for spotting wildlife!

Controller down to the last detail. Trustworthy.
I found JT Safaris here on Tripadvisor. Julius arranged our safari down to the last detail. We were picked up from our hotel in the morning and taken to the Diani beach (Ukunda) airstrip. Our plane was already waiting to take us to the beautiful Massai Mara. When we got there our guide Lucky was already waiting for us. The Drive from the airstrip to the hotel was already an experience. As Lucky says "a free african massage". Our hotel The Fig tree camp is a beautiful hotel located on the Talek rivier. The tents were clean and equipped with every luxury. The hippos in the river in front of our tent was fantastic. In the afternoon we had our first game drive. Lucky is a star at finding animals. On the first day we saw two leopards, cheetahs, many zebras and so much more. Around 7p.m. we were back at the camp where we had a delicious diner. After sitting around the campfire for a while, we went to sleep early, because Lucky would pick us up around 6. We had our breakfast and lunchboxes with us and in the dark we started driving again. To see the sunrise over the savannah with the elepants in the mist is something i cannot describe you have to experience that. After a beautiful day and after seeing so many animals Lions, leopads, widerbeest, pumba etc etc etc we returned to the camp in the evenibg, tired but satisfied. After a dip in the pool and another delicios dinner, we went to bed early. At 6 a.m. Lucky was waiting for us again fot our last game drive and onze again we were not disappointed, Kenya is a beautiful country. Around half past 11 we were back at the hotel. We packed our things and had lunck. Unfortunately our safari was over. Lucky tool us back to the airstrip. We really had tree great days. Julius thank you for arranging it ans Lucky you are really the best and nicest guide.

Amazing experience
I went with JT Safaris back in 2010 to Tsavo East and West. But this time we wanted to try Masai Mara. I messaged Julius by WhatsApp and we arranged everything over text. He was able to provide quotes based on different days and budgets and we decided on 3 days 2 nights. Previously it was to pay a deposit and then after the safari to pay the remaining balance but now it’s to pay a deposit before traveling then just before the safari to pay the rest. So don’t be alarmed if you are requested this as it’s normal and Julius is very trust worthy.
Julius arranged our driver and Abdul met us at our hotel at 7am and was there 7am sharp waiting for us. We then drove to Masai Mara which took around 5 hours and went straight to Masa leisure resort which is inside the park (as some are outside the reserve). We had lunch which was buffet, rested then went on our first game drive from 3-6pm. The hotel has multiple ‘tents’ but they are more like large hotel rooms build from wood with just tent like material over them and inside had a sofa, four poster bed, shower, desk and toilet. Warm running water, electricity and a comfy bed which was all we needed. WiFi is only available in the restaurant but that was fine as it meant a nice early night. The food was also good with a variety for everyone (I’m vegan and had no trouble eating).
The park now has rules that each day you can have game drives between 6am-6pm (whereby previously it was 24hours). The first day we saw lions, zebra, elephants, zebra. We then we went back for dinner and an early night.
The next day we had a full game drive from 7am-5pm and told the hotel this and they provided a picnic lunch. The night before the chef actually came to see us and took down our requirements of what we wanted and made the picnic based on this which was fabulous! This was the best day whereby we saw elephants up close, lions within 1 metre away, leopards and cheetahs. We also went to the masa river and saw hippos and crocodiles. For lunch Abdul found us a nice tree and we had a blanket and ate our picnic outside which was fantastic. In the afternoon we then managed to see the migration of thousands of wildebeest which was breathtaking. Abdul was friendly throughout the whole trip and always asking us if we’re happy and very knowledgeable on a the animals and the park.
At the end of the drive on the second day Abdul told us that we had to leave the reserve by 10am the next day and couldn’t do a game drive as the rules only allowed for two days. I rang Julius as I was disappointed by this as assumed this was a 3 day safari and I think this was due to our communication by WhatsApp whereby I was very lax on the itinerary and didn’t ask much (not the full breakdown of day to day). But Julius at once realized I wanted three day game drive so paid for the final day without question which was so kind. We ended up having an amazing drive in the morning seeing more lions right next to our jeep.
We then headed back to Nairobi and was dropped off at our hotel late in the afternoon.
Overall even though it was 13 years since my last safari with Julius I couldn’t fault him and his team again. He rang daily to check we were enjoying ourselves, he accommodated based on our price range and gave us an amazing experience.
Can’t wait for our next safari where i will 100% be coming back with Julius again.

Professional and personal safari provided an amazing safari experience (our 2nd with Julius)
Just back from an amazing safari booked with Julius (JT Safaris) in Kenya. We, alongside Julius, booked a 10 day safari flying in and out of Nairobi. Harrison was our guide and driver. This was our 2nd time to Kenya, the 1st being 15 years ago, when Julius also organised our itinerary.
We started off with 2 days in Samburu, foolowed by 2 days in the Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary, 1 day Lake Nakuru, I day Lake Naivasha anr 3 days Masai Mara. We travelled in a landcruiser – I would say an essential with the roads.
The experience we had was memorable for all the right reasons. We saw a diverse and plentiful amount of wildlife. Harrison was full of knowledge, an excellent spotter and a very special man to travel alongside. Harrison ensured we were comfortable en route and in our accommodation; taking into account our personal requirements.
Accommodation was a mixture of camps and lodges – all great with tasty food.
