Beyond my expectations both Kenya and our tour guides
Since the very begging Maurice made a tour schedule according to our time and budget.
I didn't knew almost anything of Kenya, but after being there the tour was just the thing to do with the time we had. A very good selection (Massay Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Nairobi city tour).
At Maurice insistance they were for us at the airport, good thing because it was not as easy to get to the hotel I first selected. They were with us every day, on time for new experiences every day.
Our rider, Boni, is a very kind and open person with a lot of knowledge on the animals and the story of Kenya. A real ranger.
The prices Like a local have are a real bargain for such an excellent service.
The lengths Maurice and his team took to serve us were just beyond.
And Kenya, its nature and its people are just amazing!

Care was taken with every detail.
I can’t imagine that any other company is quite like Like A Local. Maurice and the others were more like our family than individuals we were meeting for the first time. As a person from South Louisiana, that means a great deal. The accommodations, the travel, the people, the experience…all of the highest quality. I was so pleased that I booked my return trip before I completed the initial trip. Stoked to be returning next summer!

Trip of a lifetime!
Like A Local Safaris is incredible! I was in Kenya with an educator travel group in July 2023 for 12 days. Like A Local took care of all our transportation and excursions - including our safari in Masai Mara. They were very professional, fun to work with, and gave us the best experience throughout our time in Kenya. They made adjustments based on our group's needs and were very accommodating. Our time on safari was like no other. It was the experience of a lifetime to see wild life up close. They made the most out of our three days in Masai Mara. Highly recommend Maurice and his team! You will not be disappointed!

Once in a lifetime
Maurice and his wife Phoebe created a wonderful trip for the group I was traveling with. We saw amazing animals and nature, hikes, boated, did the safari thing, but more importantly, they introduced us to some amazing people everywhere we went. I’ve been fortunate to travel to many countries and meet many people, and the experience with Like A Local Safaris was one of the best and very reasonable for the area.

My tour guide, Maurice was very efficient and informative.
I booked with ‘Like a Local Safaris’ when I was in Australia. The communication was good snd Maurice picked me up from the airport on arrival.I did 3 local tours to the Nairobi Wildlife Park, Kebara Slums and Nairobi National Museum. I really enjoyed the tours as Maurice was very friendly. I recommend this tour if you want to have a memorable time in Kenya.
