Posted on Sep 17, 2024Dear Isidre,
We really appreciate you booking with our company. To address your complain, First of all you know you did a last minute booking which was hours to the safari day despite the fact that we kept requesting you to confirm your booking in advance if you were sure of the safari so to allow us adequate time for arrangement considering it was a shared safari which requires us to be considerate of the other clients joining the team.
From the onset of our chats, you wanted a Spanish speaking tour guide of which from our chats and from your written English above it can be acknowledged that, for your safari to have been effectful you really needed a SPANISH SPEAKING tour guide which we arranged and advised your partner who was in communication with us that Spanish speaking tour guide comes with a small extra fees but she said it was not necessary that you were all okay with an English speaking driver guide.
If you go through our reviews your will realize guide Timothy is mentioned by our other clients who have done Safaris with as one of the best driver guides. Which means it's you and your team who had a problem with English that's why communication between you and the driver failed.
About the roads, We have asked our driver guide and we are convinced that since the road to Amboseli is Murram road and the roads inside the park too aren't tarmacked that is why you felt uncomfortable and thus terming it as dangerous driving.
Speaking of the Vehicle, We gave out an option of a private safari for the four of you at an accommodative price but your team refused and wanted a shared safari which is understandable, Since you took time to confirm your booking and our vehicle had been filled up we opted to request our sister company who had same tour to accommodate you as that was the only option we had at the time of the booking confirmation.
In all this we conclude you and your team hadn't planned yourself well for the safari because throughout our chats we realized you were undecided and this is what affected your safari as a whole. Nevertheless we appreciated you booking with us and wish you all the best.

Perfect experience in 7 days safari
We loved the 7 days safari - Masai Mara, Nakuru, naivasha and amboseli. Janet helped us with all the questions we had. The guides were super nice and professionals.

Kindness!
I participated in the Amboseli Safari Tour for 3 days and 2 nights, starting in the afternoon.
My flight arrived at the airport around 11am, so to save time and money, I chose to have the agent pick me up at the airport (free of charge).
When I arrived at the airport, the agent called me on WhatsApp (there is FREE WiFi at the airport).
I also received a message because I couldn't answer the phone.
Perhaps because there was a waiting time, they arranged an Uber to a nearby mall and I decided to wait there (the Uber fare was paid by the agent).
There was also a supermarket in the mall, which was very helpful in figuring out the prices.
They clearly told me when and to whom I should pay the remaining tour fee (some of which I had paid in advance as a deposit).
Also, if I had any questions during the tour, it was easy to ask them on WhatsApp.
On the way back from the tour, they took me directly to my accommodation in Nairobi, which saved me time and money.
By the way, this text was created using Google Translate.lol

Experience the breath of the wild on the African savannah,it is worth it!
We had a group of four people, two men and two women, and spent seven days and six nights on our safari, mainly visiting Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Bogoria, and Masai Mara. Overall, the safari experience was great; we saw many animals, and our guide, Caleb, was enthusiastic, humorous, and very attentive. Whenever we encountered animals we wanted to see, he would stop and let us observe before moving on. He also introduced us to a lot of knowledge about wildlife, local customs, and was also good at finding suitable parking spots in crowded areas so we could get a good view of the animals.
On our way to Masai Mara, we passed by Caleb's hometown, and he invited us as guests to his family home. We felt the warmth of his family, which was an unexpected surprise in our itinerary. The four of us in one Land Cruiser felt very comfortable, with charging facilities available, and the open roof allowed us to view the animals without obstruction or feeling cramped.
The accommodation varied in quality but was generally acceptable. The best place we stayed was Bogoria Green Resort at Lake Bogoria. The food provided every day was good, mostly buffet style. We also paid extra for a balloon safari experience, getting up at 3 AM, but it was worth it.
As we were on a pravite tour, our guide Caleb would discuss the next day's itinerary with us at the end of everyday safari and helped us avoid city protests. The only day we spent almost entirely in the car was the long journey from Lake Bogoria to Masai Mara. Other than that, we had daily activities at sightseeing spots.
Overall, the experience was great. We spent 1.5 days in Amboseli watching elephants and leopards, 0.5 days at Lake Naivasha taking a boat ride and interacting with animals up close on the island, and 0.5 days at Lake Bogoria primarily observing flocks of flamingos, which was spectacular. In Masai Mara, we spent a full day seeing lions, crocodiles, wildebeest herds and so many other animals, and experienced a memorable hot air balloon safari on the last morning. The memories were unforgettable and truly worth it. And the cost is 1960 USD per person in the high season, balloon safari fee not included.

Wilson was excellent- a great driver and skilled guide with great knowledge of the wildlife and terr
We went as a grouo of 9 in two separate vehicles with Wilson and Caleb as our guides, both were excellent. Wilson was a great driver that made us feel safe on rugged terrain. He has excellent vision and could spot wildlife from far away and made sure we got to see animals as they appeared during the safari. I would highly recommend Wilson as a guide. The safari itself was wonderful and the lodges we stayed in during the evenings were lovely - one of which had wildlife like zebras and monkeys on premises roaming freely. Overall, the 4 day tour was well worth the money and an experience i won't forget! Thank you, Wilson, for a great trip!

Great overall experience!
Before our trip, Janet from Javiva was super helpful. She was professional, responsive, and gave me confidence that any questions we had would be answered thoroughly. Then once we arrived in Nairobi to begin the safari, pickup at our hotel was simple and the adventure began. Our driver, Wilson, took great care of us throughout our whole trip. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and fun. He gave us plenty of facts during our drives and answered any questions that we had. We always felt safe and taken care of when we were with him. He was also a great balance of conversation and just letting us rest quietly or talk amongst ourselves. During game runs, he was able to point out all sorts of animals we would have had a hard time seeing or identifying ourselves, and he made sure that we always got as close as possible for the best angles of the hippos, lions, elephants, etc. He is clearly very good at what he does and we felt fortunate to have him guiding us for four days. Thank you, Wilson and Javiva, for an amazing trip!

Janet was awesome! She was kind, professional and maintained good communication with us throughout
Our trip was amazing!! My sister and I truly enjoyed ourselves!! As I stated Janet was awesome! She kept the lines of communication open and was flexible throughout the planning process. Janet organized a great itinerary for us. We got to see “The Big 5” and much more! We loved the Maasai Mara the best and wish we stayed more days there. Our driver Anthony was great- I recommend him as well. He was very knowledgeable about various things throughout our safaris and kept our drives entertaining. We have loads of beautiful photos and memories to last us a lifetime!! I hope to come back in the future and would use Janet’s company again on a heartbeat! 😊

Caleb was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
The tour was definitely worth the cost! We had the best time. Our tour guide, Caleb, was so knowledgeable about all of the plants and animals. He indulged every one of our questions. The Sopa Lodges were some of the most stunning hotels I have stayed in.

Perfect experience with Javiva,
Janet gave me all the information I needed before I took off to Kenya with enough patience, and the journey was arranged so well that we almost missed nothing, and because the driver, at the same time, also the guide, knows everything about masai Mara and Amboseli, Nakuru, Navasha , we were able to see many kinds of wild animals, because he knew where to go and when to go there, on the way to Maasai Mara, the driver also helped several cars to get out of the mud. I will definitely recommend Javiva to my friends who want to travel in Kenya.

Javiva were great, very professional throughout.
Janet was amazing to deal with. She was extremely fast to come back with a great plan and a very reasonable price. It didn’t stop just there. Any questions leading up to my trip were answered very quickly and very clearly. Even when I was away on my trip Janet checked in with me to make sure everything was going smoothly. I can not believe what I witnessed. Was the most amazing experience of my life! Janet, asante sana 🙏🏼. I will not hesitate in booking another trip with Javiva Adventures
