Safari Soles is the only way to go! Unforgettable adventure with an unforgettable company
Our safari with Safari Soles was an absolute dream come true. From our first interaction with the booking agent, Regina, to the moment we bid farewell to our incredible guide, Ernest, every aspect of our journey was filled with exceptional communication, itinerary customization, and the warmest hospitality.
Regina, our dedicated booking agent, played a pivotal role in ensuring that our safari experience was tailored to our preferences. We travelled as a group of three and every accommodation was not only beautiful, clean, and exciting in and of itself, but she was able to secure three single beds in each location which made our experience all the better. Her prompt and clear communication made the entire booking process a breeze and she patiently listened to our interests to expertly craft an itinerary that aligned with our desires.
We booked a day in Moshi, a day hike in Kilimanjaro, and 4 days of Safari hitting Tarangire, Serengeti (x2 days), and Ngorogoro crater. After flight difficulties that left us arriving a day late, Regina was communicative in amending our airport pick up and helped ensure we still made our day hike to Kilimanjaro. I cannot emphasize enough how great her communication was - from crafting the itinerary to fit our requests, to providing recommendations, to promptly following up every time I emailed, to communicating over Whatsapp when we arrived, Regina's attention to detail and commitment to customization truly set Safari Soles apart from the rest. The digital itinerary that Safari Soles provides as well is incredible - super informative and fun to share with friends and family.
Our safari adventure truly came to life with our remarkable guide, Ernest. His deep knowledge of the local wildlife and passion for the Sergengeti set our tour apart - he had an answer for every question we threw at him and his driving rivaled Formula 1 when it came to getting us to spots in time to see even the most elusive animals (we saw all of the Big 5!). Ernest's ability to spot animals from a distance is unparalleled. He knew all the best spots to look, filled us in on a myriad of wildlife facts, and gave us ample time to observe / take in the experience. What made Ernest stand out even more was his genuine kindness and thoughtfulness. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and safe throughout our journey. Ernest's warm and friendly demeanor created a welcoming and fun atmosphere, allowing us to connect with both him and the wildlife in a truly meaningful way. His patience in answering our questions and sharing fascinating insights made the safari not only an enriching experience, but a truly unforgettable one.
Safari Soles' commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of our adventure. The accommodations provided were not only luxurious but also perfectly situated to immerse us in the beauty of the surrounding landscapes. The meticulously planned meals showcased the local cuisine and far exceeded our expectations each day more than the last! The entire team's dedication to ensuring our satisfaction and happiness was truly commendable.
If you're seeking a safari adventure that combines the best of wildlife, personalized service, and unforgettable memories, I cannot recommend Safari Soles enough.

The most impressive trip ever!
Safarisoles Tour is a trustworthy partner for us! They first communicated with us about the detailed intinerary and accommodation plan patiently, and also provided us with lots of assistance during our trip, even in Zanzibar. It turns out that everything including the meals, the camps & lodges, the pickup, and all other services met or even exceeded our expectations.
Our guide, Isaack, is a really nice guy with 8-year safari advanture experience, as well as a "professional teacher", an "excellent risk controller", and an "experienced wildlife hunter"! He introduced a lot about the local culture and natural knowledges to us, and also found each of the BIG FIVE and so many different creatures, making it a perfect tour!
We chose 4 national parks this time - Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. All 4 parks would never disappoint you in December! It was so lucky for us to meet a group of Lion and witness the elephants' activity in Tarangire in Day 1, though the lions would appear every day later haha. In Day 2, the migration of wildbeast, zebra and impala in Serengeti was absolutely impressive and marvellous. We also spot the cheetah enjoying its meal at a super close distance and witnessed how fast it can run when several black-backed jackals approached its meal. In Day 3, we met a leopard feasting on its prey in the tree right after our breakfast, which made our day! We finally saw the Africa Black Rhinoceros in Ngorongoro in Day 4, which was also really fortunate for us!
We're truly impressed by everything in this intinerary and hope we could come back again!

An amazing safari tour
Bryson arranged a fantastic safari for our family of four. Starting with an early pick up from our hotel in Zanzibar, through flight to Seronera airstrip, three days in the Serengeti, a day in Ngorongoro and finally drop off at Kilimanjaro for our flight home, everything worked perfectly and exactly on time. Bryson was in contact beforehand and throughout to make sure everything was fine. We stayed at three very different lodges as recommended by Bryson, each great in its own way (Melia Serengeti for sheer opulence and Serena Ngorongoro for spectacular location and view were our favourites). The vehicle was comfortable, well equipped and maintained. However, most credit should go to our guide, Estomih. He had great knowledge and understanding of the environment and fantastic enthusiasm to share this with us to show us the best of the spectacular landscape and animals. But more important than that, Estomih was simply an amazing person: helpful, friendly, considerate and reliable. By some distance, we all agreed this was the most enjoyable four days we had ever spent on holiday as a family. It is not the most important factor but, whilst a safari is never cheap, by booking directly with Safari Soles the cost was less than half what a UK travel agent quoted for the same trip. And it goes directly to a small, Arusha based firm and into the local economy. I genuinely cannot think of anything I would change.

Perfect, professional, Safari experts
Perfect, from first contact to the end. The company managed the issues with flight operators, and then we saw a leopard every day, the big five in Ngorogoro in just two hour. Nature is nature but the service during the trip was exeptional. Ever tried a lamb in Serengeti? I almost refused and was surprised. Special thanks to Innocenti, who is the best guide and driver and a really caring person.

3-day Fly in Safari & Kilimanjaro foothills
The only way to describe our Safari Soles experience was total perfection. From the minute we made our enquiry to them, they were fantastic, extremely helpful and informative. Renatus assisted us promptly and helped us tailor our trip to suit our timescales, budget and wants. He was contactable whilst we were away and was brilliant throughout.
We opted for a three-day, fly in fly out from Zanzibar, including the day trip to the foothills of Kilimanjaro (day 1), safari in the Tarangire park (day 2) and finally a trip to the Ngorongoro crater (day 3).
Day 1 Foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro - We are glad we added the first day because it meant we could maximise the safari days without the flight in the morning, but the experience itself was unbelievable. Our guide and driver Baltazari was lovely, very informative and made sure we maximised our day. He taught us about local culture as well as his personal experiences, whilst taking us on a fantastic walk to the Materuni waterfall which was stunning, a coffee plantation and a beautiful hot spring.
Day 2 & 3 Tarangire Safari and Ngorongoro crater - Our safari days were unforgettable and made so due to our guide Simon, better known as the Safari Monster!! He was so lovely, a fantastic driver and guide and without him our days would not have been as good as they were - he went above and beyond. Without him, we would not have seen the Big 5 in 24hours, a new record! We put our trust in him and he delivered the best experience we have ever had.
Out of the animals we saw including, giraffes, elephants and lions (and much more) it is incredibly hard to see leopards and rhinos out on safari but we saw it all!! Even telling local people on our return about it they said that it is unheard of and that we had a very special trip.
We would highly recommend you book a trip with him and he would be our first choice for any future experience with Safari Soles (fingers crossed). Simon is a legend and we miss him already!
One difference that set Safari Soles apart from other tours we saw on Safari was the food that we had whilst out on the game drives. We had full meals, prepared and cooked by local people in comparison to the sandwich and juice box other groups had and it was delicious!
Overall, our experience was 11/10. If you are thinking of booking a trip to Tanzania, Safari Soles and the guides we have mentioned - they are a fantastic choice.

Very well organised from the start. Ernest our guide was fantastic and knew where all the big 5 were hiding.
The lodges were great and the food fantastic. It was a great trip from start to finish.
Transfers also worked well from Zanzibar to Serengeti. Airport pick up was always on time. A great all round experience.

Safari Soles Everytime!
Ask for Simon, the Safari Monster via Safari Soles! He took great care of seven women with so much luggage and wild requests. He went above and beyond to not only clean our truck every night, set up lunch every afternoon, and expertly driving through wet and rough terrain without getting us stuck a single time! Very knowledgeable and answered all of our sometimes exhausting questions. We found Al of the animals we wanted to and he was very patient and kind to all of us. We even left something valuable at one of the hotels, and him and his team were able to get it to us before we left. An amazing experience!!

Cheddy's knowledge, spotting skills, and sense of humor were outstanding
SafariSoles coordinated a 12 day safari experience of a lifetime for my grandson and I included Tangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Mt. Kilamanjaro, and Gombe National Parks -Tanzania, and was an excellent value. There were activities for an octogenarian and for a young adult. We recommend them without any reservations whatsoever! The driver/guides were fantastic, especially Cheddy whose knowledge, spotting skills, and sense of humor were outstanding, including his command of the English language (he also speaks Russian and French). Our itinerary was superbly laid out to build to a climax with something special every day. The accommodations varied appropriately from superb tent to beautiful 4-star settings. We especially appreciated Cheddy including not only animals, but birds, trees, and plants in his discourse because of our particular interests. We saw thousands of wildebeasts and zebras migrating, more than 45 lions, hundreds of water buffalo, hippos, gazelles and all of their similar appearing "cousins", elephants, hyenas, warthogs, tik tiks, a mother leopard and her two cubs, cheetahs, and literally hundreds of different species of other wildlife and birds, geckos, and beetles, all "up close and personal". We visited Tanzania during the "wet off-season period" in January that few tourists choose and never regretted it. Safaris lasted from morning til evening every day except our air travel days. All of our meals and in country travel were included as well as a balloon and a night safari and visit to a Masai village. Every day contained a surprise discovery even more fantastic than the previous day, including watching the birth of a baby impala and all manner of animals breastfeeding their young (yes, even elephants!). To top it all, all meals were included and the food was never less than average and mostly excellent. Thankyou SafariSoles and all of the staff and guides for an amazing lifetime experience that we will never forget! We offer the following suggestion for future safari travelers: bring toilet paper, wipes, water shoes and flipflops, travel towel, and swimsuit.
