Incredible safari to see Big 5
5/5

Boniface tailored a beautiful safari adventure with stays at exclusive lodges while we visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Extremely happy with Simon (Safari monster) our driver guide who was patient, fun, warm with good knowledge and keen eyesight to spot wildlife. Lost count of lions and lionesses we saw. Loved the herds of elephants and zebras and wildebeest. Enjoyed the hippos, giraffes, buffaloes and countless herbivores. We were thrilled by 8 cheetahs and 2 leopards. Only the black rhino was far away in Ngorongoro. I guess we will be back again to catch the rhino. Thank you.

Five stars for both company and driver! Unconditional recommendation!
5/5

My husband and I fully recommend Safari Soles Tours, and for many reasons. The biggest one is our driver, Elias. This man loves what he does, and it shows: He is kind and funny, knowledgeable, a very good driver, and he knows Serengeti and Ngorongoro (and nearly every bump in the road) like the back of his hand. He has years of experience in touring safaris, so he has a keen eye and sees the animals way before you do — or even his colleagues from the competition. He is an honest man which means he also manages expectations accordingly (e.g., the chances of seeing Rhino or Cheetah are basically 50/50). Eventually, we were lucky enough to see these beauties, but thanks to Elias he took us to see something very special on our honeymoon: The migration of the zebras and wildebeests. He knew exactly where to find them, even without sticking to the radio chatter from his colleagues, and he made us feel safe along every kilometer of the way. And we covered a lot in only 2.5 days...

The comms with Oken from Safari Soles Tours were so easy and clear, pleasant and proactive from his side. He easily arranged our pickup from Arusha and back to Moshi, everything was bang-on-time and therefore utterly reliable. The accommodations in the camps were also amazing: Hot water, showers (!) and dinner buffets with really good food in the middle of Serengeti made us feel uncomfortably comfortable (if that makes sense), and the cooked meals we received in the morning to eat at noon (arranged lovingly by Elias as a buffet with table cloth either in the car or on picnic benches) were very tasty indeed.

All of the above made our tour unforgettable, creating memories of a lifetime. Oken, thank you for making this possible. And Elias, if you read this, thank you, rafiki, for making it happen! Take care, safe travels always and god bless you and your family!

An Unforgettable Tanzanian Adventure
5/5

My mother and I recently returned from a 12-day safari with Safari Soles in Tanzania, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of in every possible way, with special attention given to my 70-year-old mother, ensuring her comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip.

Our journey was filled with incredible wildlife sightings. We were fortunate enough to see the Big Five—lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes—as well as a rare sighting of five cheetahs! The abundance of animals we encountered exceeded all of our expectations.

A significant part of what made this safari so memorable was our guide, Innocent. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and kindness truly enhanced our experience. He made sure we were always in the right place at the right time to witness the spectacular wildlife and shared fascinating insights about the animals and their habitats.

In addition to the safari, we also explored the Kilimanjaro region with our guide Andrew. His expertise and friendly demeanor made our time there just as enjoyable and enriching.

Overall, Safari Soles provided an outstanding adventure, tailored to suit all ages and preferences. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a Tanzanian safari vacation. Their attention to detail, exceptional guides, and commitment to customer satisfaction make them a top choice for an unforgettable safari experience.

A perfect Safari experience
5/5

A very professional and reliable team, whether it is pre-communication, landing and pick-up, or the whole Safari trip, are all arranged perfectly. In the early stage, Innocent has a fast response speed. He contacted us first after we sent out the demand. And because we are Chinese, he can communicate with us efficiently on WeChat and patiently answer our questions, and can give custom itineraries according to our needs. Our guide, Dickson, is a very professional and reliable person, very knowledgeable, and has a good eye. He can see the animals from a long distance and accurately tell us the specific names of the animals, which is amazing. He helped us collect the "Big Five" of Africa, we even saw the white rhinoceros! The whole trip, whether it is the hotel or the diet, is very perfect, which has brought us an unforgettable African Safari trip. Next time we have the opportunity, we will go to explore nature again.

Top Notch
5/5

Words cannot even begin to describe how amazing this experience was! Simon, our guide, was so knowledgeable and always ensured we were comfortable wherever we were. He was so patient with all of our (my) questions, and has such a wealth of knowledge which he is happy to share. His experience allowed for us to see all of the Big 5 in 4 days!! He also knew exactly how to handle a bull elephant that we unexpectedly came face to face with on the road to the lodge! The accommodations were all beautiful, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations by far. Safari Soles was so easy to work with and made sure all of our needs were met. Happiness George simplified the planning of the safari including all of our transportation arrangements from the time we landed to the time we left. I definitely would like to do another safari and will be using Safari Soles again. I will also be requesting Simon as our guide too.I highly recommend using Safari Soles and requesting Simon to be your guide!

Fantastic African Safari Experience
5/5

Safari Soles tours has kept their promise and left us an unforgettable safari experience! Our sales Sukujua has made all of the pre-trip communications fast and smooth, always tried the best to accommodate our requirements. The trip guide Issac, who is a funny guy, always makes jokes and fills the jeep with laughs. More importantly, he showed his experience and professionalism by proactively taking us to what we want to see. He was several times the first-spotter of the Rhinos, massive eating scenes, and lions, which made us quite proud. He also drives safely during all of the exhausting long-range transfers. We will surely come back to this lovely Serengeti again for even more days next time!

Every day a Highlight
5/5

We were with Safari Soles for 11 days on a private safari with our guide Estomih and it couldn't have been better. We are very happy that we did our safari with Safari Soles Tours.

We felt we were in good hands right from the start - the planning of our tour with Innocent was also very friendly and all our wishes were made possible. For example, the organization of an airport transfer on Zanzibar was no problem at all. Innocent always responded very quickly, which was brilliant for our somewhat last-minute planning.

I can only recommend everyone to take a little more time for this wonderful country. We loved each of the national parks on our safari and also the cultural activities. It was very exciting to see how different the landscape and the people are.

Our highlights:
- In Arusha NP we went on a walking safari and walked very close to buffaloes, warthogs and even a giraffe. In the evening we visited a coffee farm and were able to roast our own coffee.
- In Lake Manyara, we also went on a bike tour through the town of Mto wa bu and learned a lot about rice and banana cultivation and visited three families. I can only recommend it!
- Lake Natron was also very eventful - here we went to a waterfall with our Maasai guide Tobias and watched the sunrise at the lake in the morning.
- At lake Eyasi we visited two tribes - both visits were super interesting and well organized. We never felt uncomfortable and were able to learn a lot from the inhabitants. A highlight of our tour!
- The classics such as Tarangire NP, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater were of course also on our itinerary. We were able to spend four days in the Serengeti and, thanks to our guide Estomih, we saw incredible things (lions, hyenas and cheetahs eating, a leopard, a herd of elephants with lots of little babies and a pride of lions with 7! cubs from very close up and many more).

Estomih was always able to tell us a lot about each animal and answer all our questions. Thanks to him, this trip will remain unforgettable.

Our booked lodges were also a highlight for us every evening and amazed us. The food was delicious and the hot lunch that Estomih always brought and served for us was also very tasty!

It was a lot of fun traveling with Safri Soles and Estomih and we would do our tour again anytime. Thank you very much!

Top-Notch Company
5/5

There are many safari companies and it can be quite overwhelming trying to decide which company to go with. Safari Soles Tours stood out for several reasons. Besides already having high ratings, they offered more activities and services resulting in a better value. Our first encounter with Safari Soles was with Happiness George, our travel expert, and concluded with the two most amazing guides, Baltazary and Isaac. First of all, how can anyone not be in a positive mood interacting with someone named Happiness! 😊 She did not bombard us with follow-up emails or make us feel pressured to respond to inquiries. This was important as deciding to go on a safari trip is a big deal with all the planning that’s involved, and it takes a while to make a decision that will have a high impact on our budget. Yet, when we had questions she was highly responsive. We received responses throughout the day regardless of the time difference. She attended to our needs, listened exactly to what our preferences were and promptly made modifications to meet our expectations. She worked on ways to help us maximize our budget and also accommodated a change after our safari trip had started. She really sold the trip for us with her friendly and helpful attitude. In addition to having a comprehensive package that included more locations than we had anticipated, Happiness provided a detailed itinerary that didn’t just tell you the activities of each day but also the drive time from one destination to the next. This was important as we noticed one of the days the drive time would have been too long. While it would have essentially been a game drive since you’re traveling inside the national park, we expressed concern with the excess time and Happiness quickly modified the itinerary without compromising our goals for the trip. The package also included activities on the 1st day before hotel drop off, which for other companies tended to include a pickup from the airport to the hotel, and also activities on the last day before dropping off at the airport. The other offering that we did not see with other companies we contacted was the inclusion of air ambulance medical insurance. A few other items that were a plus included the company providing bug spray and use of binoculars.

In terms of our guides, Baltazary picked us up from the airport and took us on a hike to a waterfall at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, along with a coffee tour and a dip in a hot springs before dropping us off at the hotel, and picked us up at the hotel for some activities in the city before dropping us off at the airport on our last day. Baltazary was a delight. He was welcoming upon arrival and helped us with whatever we needed to do before our activities began. Our flight was delayed but Baltazary ensured we got to our destinations and was able to enjoy all the activities previously scheduled. He also provided us with rain boots and hiking sticks during our waterfall hike as it rained a bit. A very thoughtful gesture was on our first day, Baltazary stopped to get us fresh sugar cane as we had expressed our love for it. Throughout both days, he taught us about Tanzania, the local city, and local traditions which we enjoyed.

Now onto Isaac who was our safari guide. We love love love Isaac! He is such a sweet person, mild-mannered and pleasant, and so knowledgeable. The safari trip was absolutely unforgettable. We saw so much and at such close ranges. While there’s no control over where animals are going to be seen, we were highly impressed with Isaac’s ability to find and hone in on an animal in the grass. He didn’t just point out the animals but provided us information about them. He allowed us as much time as we wanted for viewings and changed course or went backwards when needed. His ability to navigate through the park was even more impressive. We seriously don’t know how we circled from one area to the next with no visible signs and still made it to our lodge at the end of the day. He was also accommodating with our schedule, letting us rest in a little bit longer in the morning, but not shortening our game drives in any way. There was an itinerary change initiated by us midway through our trip which Isaac responded to easily and without disruption. He really valued what we wanted. Isaac emanated the true meaning of Hakuna Matata! Similar to his counterpart at Safari Soles, he stopped to get us red bananas after our safari trip after we expressed amusement since we never tried them before. The fact you’re with an individual you met for the first time on multiple long days, having someone who is friendly, caring about your safety, and funny is crucial. Isaac is exactly that and an incredible safari guide! We are so appreciative for having him and for him giving us a memorable experience!

As for the accommodations, we selected a mid-range package but some of them felt like luxury accommodations. We had a mix of lodges with solid walls as well as tented lodges and each were equally wonderful with unparalleled service. The meals were also incredible at every location. We were pleasantly surprised with the lunch offered. The food was abundant and delicious and we couldn’t believe how many hot food options were available for us eating out in the wild. Safari Soles provided an endless amount of fluids (water, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages) during the long game drives. Honestly, the package that was put together for us turned out to be more than we expected.

On a side note, we were touched by the hospitality provided by the people of Tanzania. All of them worked together at the accommodations and during the game drives to ensure you get the best customer experience (e.g., guides communicated with one another to alert of hotspots). Safari Soles delivered in a way that reflected their name, as they really have their foot in the door with customer service. Jambo to Happiness, Isaac, and Baltazary and thank you for making our trip even better than we imagined! 😊

The GREATEST TO EVER DO IT! Innocent
5/5

Just finished the three day safari adventure. From start to finish had an amazing time. Our coordinator Happiness was communicative and responsive. Our transporter, Chief was funny, energetic, and informative. Our driver, Innocent provided history, excitement and enthusiasm throughout our entire journey. Even after long days, he had a smile on his face and brought a lot of enthusiasm throughout the entire drive. Cannot wait to show all my family friends, the amazing animals and other species we saw along our adventure.
10 out of 10; will come back!
Thank you again, Innocent!!! ❤️

Absolutely LEGENDARY!!!!!
5/5

Our 3 day fly in-drive out tour with Innocent through the Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater was absolutely epic! The organization was seamless- from the airport pickup/drop off (Chief, our driver was so personable & super informative! Taught us all the basic Swahili phrases & nearby attractions). While on the tour, Innocent, our guide - was truly one of a kind. He was knowledgeable of the roads, animals, weather, culture and beyond! We saw countless animals (lions, giraffes, elephants, rhino, zebra, gazelle, cheetahs, wildebeest and many many MANY more!). Innocent made a remarkable effort all throughout the trip to ensure we had the best views of every animal & left feeling fulfilled! Outside of the tour, the administrative office (Happiness, our tour agent) was so kind, punctual and communicated effectively & thoroughly. Lodging (luxury) and food exceeded our expectations - we are sure to recommend this tour to all of our friends & family!!!
