Just returned from the trip of a lifetime!
I just returned from a 5 day safari with Monkey Adventures, traveling to Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorogoro crater. What an experience! Communication was excellent, always responded quickly to any questions that I had, and a staff member was waiting on my at the airport. Service was excellent and really exceeded my expectations. My guide, Ashley, could not have been better! His experience and knowledge allowed me to see and witness things that most may not ever get to see. I witnessed drivers from other companies cut others off and get too close to the animals, making them uncomfortable. Fortunately my guide, nor any of the other Monkey Adventure drivers, ever tried to get too close or cut anyone off. Serengeti was by far my favorite! But the other places were awesome as well! I did not want to leave! But I hope to return someday soon and will definitely use Monkey Adventures again!

Amazing Safari!!!
We spend five days with Monkey Adventures in the Aberdares National Park, Lake Nakuru and finally the Maasai Mara. Our guide was Joseph and he was brilliant!!! He is very knowledgeable and thanks to him we were able to see the big five! The lodges and the food were also just great and top standard in every possible way. On our way from Paris to Nairobi our luggage got lost and Yvonne managed to get in back for us and even send a driver towards Maasai Mara for us to meet and pick it up.
We 100% recommend taking the Safari with Monkey Adventures as everything exceeded our expectations and we had a really great time!!

Frank was very knowledgeable and explained just enough
Communication excellent all queries were answered. Pick up at airport went without hitch or fuss. Safari was amazing. Tour was great but I would like to have more toilet stops and to be able to get out of car to stretch my legs.

Very good organisation of safari
Monkey adventures organised our 7 days migration safari in Tanzania covering Ndutu, Serengeti & ngorongoro.
Safari was organised perfectly as per plan and we got to see many gnus near lake Ndutu.
We selected accommodations suggested by monkey and were happy with our lodges in all 3 parks. Kubukubu in Serengeti was the best accommodation in our travel.
Our guide Dominic is outstanding and became good friends with us by the end of trip.
Thanks for everything!

A fantastic experience
We booked a 10 days safari in Tanzania and Kenya with Monkey Adventures. Our budget for the trip was very constrained, and we were lucky to find Monkey Adventures packages in the list of results.
Due to the park fees, the package costs are all high, but Monkey’s rates are one of the best in the market.
The safari comprised of 2 legs, a 5 days safari in Tanzania and a 4 days Kenya safari. It was a great experience. Banana was our guide in Tanzania, while Ken was the guide in Kenya. Both the guides conducted our tour exceptionally well. Their knowledge about the place and wildlife was impeccable. We could see a lot of animals, like cheetahs, Lions, a lone leopard, hippos, a herd of Elephants in a waterhole and many more. We could capture silhouette images of Elephants as we spotted them moving at sunset, while we were heading back. It was one of the best experiences in our recent times.
Monkey gave us a Landcruiser in Tanzania, and we had the option to book a Van or a Landcruiser in Kenya. Eventually we went for the Landcruiser, due to a few recommendations from my friends.
We had great rooms booked for us. The food on all days were great. It would be great if they could have more fruits included in the menu. One of our group members was a Vegan, and we had mentioned the same during the booking. Monkey Adventures ensured that vegan food was available at every place we stayed.
It was definitely a great experience and I would highly recommend them.
Cheers!

Matched our expectations!
Communication : Since we booked through mojhi, we didn't have any communication with monkey before booking. Buy after booking their communication (by Nyani) was prompt.
Service: We did 5 days safari to Masai mara & Nakuru and service we recieved was quite good. Our driver Joseph was competent and his experience showed in his guiding skills. He managed to show us cheetahs and leopards in Masai mara on day 1 after we told them we are most interested in these 2.
Since we traveled in offseason, there were not many tourists and we were lunch to enjoy some of the animals sightings all by ourself with no other cars to disturb.
We did safari in a landcruiser and it was comfortable for most part except for a small stretch near mara gate.
Quality of food is excellent when you eat hot meals at the lodge. But packed lunch quality should be improved. I gave the same feedback to lodges (Ashnil mara and sarova lion hill lodge). Except for that, service was very good at lodges too.
Overall I'm happy to recommend monkey adventures for anyone planning to do safari in Kenya.
Great experience!
I wanted to plan something big for my son’s 16th Birthday, and I wanted him to choose whatever he would like to do. I asked him what would be the craziest thing he would want to do on his birthday, and he said he would like to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. He does a lot of small treks, but I was amazed to know his interest in climbing Africa’s tallest peak. I wanted it to be special for him.
I came across Monkey Adventures as I was looking for different operators. Monkey Adventures had a very competitive price and they had a lot of positive reviews. Though there were quite a few other operators whose prices were cheaper, none were a match to monkey's quick replies to our queries. As soon as I reached out to them, Nyani responded to us by mail. He answered all our questions patiently, and helped us decide on the package we would like to take. We chose the 7 day Machame route, as it was a moderately difficult trek, and also offered a lot of scenic views.
We were picked up from the airport and taken to our hotel. We had our briefing for the trek, and they helped us pick up all the equipment we needed. Right from the start, the guides and porters were very supportive, and kept motivating us. Musa, our guide, was very well informed and kept checking our health, to ensure we were safe throughout the trek.
Nyani helped us plan the trek in such a way that we would reach the summit on my son’s birthday. It was a very emotional moment for both of us, as we cut a small cake that the porters had carried all the way till the camp. Once we were back to Moshi office, they had prepared a cake cutting ceremony for us, with champagne and everyone sang the local Hakuna Matata song for us.
This was the best gift I could have ever given my son on turning 16. Monkey Adventures ensured everything was taken care of. They also conduct safaris to major parks of Africa and that is something we will do when we visit Africa next time.
I am really glad we booked our tour with them, and we would highly recommend their tours.

Perfect Tanzania Safari
My wife and I booked our 4 day safari in Tanzania with Monkey Adventures. We wanted to visit the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, and they were very helpful in customizing the tour for our needs. Their consultant responded to all our questions very patiently. We were very specific about the places we wanted to stay - Lemala Nanyuki at Serengeti and Ngorongoro Serena lodge at Ngorongoro and thanks to Monkey adventures we got both the Lodges that we wanted.
We landed in JRO airport and were taken to our Hotel in Arusha. We were briefed about the safari, and the safari began the next day with a 7 hour drive to the Central part of the Serengeti. We were excited about visiting the park that we have heard so much about and our guide Dominic ensured we our trip lived upto our expectations!.
Dominic was a very well informed guide, with great knowledge about the place and the animals of the Serengeti. He stopped at many locations to explain about the trees, animals, hills or just the location. We asked too many questions and he patiently answered all of them. I had a list of animals I wanted to see, and we would like to thank Dominic since he ensured we got to see all of them.
Everyday we spend around 8-10 hours in the vehicle, driving from place to place or in game drives or stopping by a sighting. This might sound tiring, but Dominic’s driving skills and the condition of the Landcruiser made the drive very pleasant. The vehicle also had charging points, where we could charge our Mobile and camera. Dominic offered us his binoculars for wildlife viewing and he kept books about animals, birds and trees of the region in his vehicle.
About accommodations, while both Lemala Nanyuki and Serena met our expectation, Lemala Nanuki was outstanding in its service and room quality and views! Serena felt a bit crowded with 100s of other guests.
After our safari we were dropped off at Arusha airport for our flight to Zanzibar.
It was a very memorable trip for us, and I am glad I chose Monkey Adventures. We will come back to East Africa for a Kenya Safari in 2020, and I am sure it will be with Monkey Adventures.

Excellent 5 days safari in Tanzania
I booked my 5-day Safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Monkey Adventures, through Mojhi. Bhuvana from Mojhi was very helpful and quick to respond to all my queries. Once the payment was made and the booking was confirmed, I immediately received a mail from Nyani who helped me with the necessary information for our trip. He was very professional with attention to fine details.
We had opted for airport pickup, but due to our tough luck, there was a big delay due to bad weather. But, our driver cooperated and was present there when we arrived 4 hours late.
Mike was our guide and he was amazing. He had a great eye for animals far in the horizon and could spot anything from an Elephant to a bird with just his bare eyes. He also had a great knowledge of the geography, flora and fauna. His sense of humour kept us interested in the tour throughout. I and my wife both are photographers, and thanks to his driving skills we were able to make memorable photographs from this tour. He had the awareness about the light from the setting sun and would place the vehicle at strategic spots making it easier for us to take photographs from a nice angle. At many instances, we would stop a water hole, switch off our engines and wait patiently for any action. And most of the times, we were rewarded with wonderful animal activity, thanks to his knowledge and experience.
The rooms that we got were clean. We were very specific about the kind of places we wanted to stay in and Nyani was very helpful in booking them for us. The staff at the accommodations were very kind and ensured they made us happy with good tasty food.
This was my third visit to Africa and has been my best so far. I would highly recommend Monkey Adventures. Their prices are one of the best out there, for the services offered to us.
Thank you Bhuvana, Nyani, Mike and the whole staff of Monkey Adventures.

Amazing Safari and Kilimanjaro climb with Monkey Team.
It was my first visit to Africa and we chose a trip to Tanzania. We reached out to multiple websites who were offering safari packages, but Monkey Adventures was the fastest to respond to our queries. Since this was our first time to Africa, we had a lot of questions and Nyani answered all of them clearly. As suggested by Nyani, we did the 7 days Migration Safari first and then the Kilimanjaro hike via Lemosho route.
Our Safari started from Arusha with Casmir as our safari guide. He was well informed about the flora and fauna of all the parks we visited. We were hoping to see the Big Five and thanks to Casmir, we could spot all of them, along with the migrating wildebeest in northern Serengeti and cheetahs in Central Serengeti. He also had a great sense of humor, that made our safari very enjoyable. The camps that were provided were fantastic. One of them, Tortilis camp (in Central Serengeti), was located at a very nice place and we were able to sight Elephants and a herd of buffaloes just from the camp. The hospitality was great, and the food was cooked very well. At Northern Serengeti we stayed at Tingitana migration camp which was very close to migrating wildebeest and Zebra herds! We missed watching river crossing. It apparently happened the day before we reached Northern Serengeti :( But we were happy with our safari overall as we saw more animals than we ever imagined.
After our Safari, we were taken to Moshi for our Kilimanjaro climb and we had a briefing on the same evening. We booked 8 days Lemosho route climb. Amos was our climbing guide, and we were accompanied by an assistant guide, a cook and the 7 porters. The crew was very supportive, helpful and friendly. The food was very tasty and it met our requirement of nutrition for the trek. We had varieties of fruits every day for breakfast. We had hot tea every morning, and hot water was prepared for us whenever we had to freshen up. The porters would carry our belongings and the tents, reach the campsite and set it up before we could arrive. They were all very cheerful throughout the hike and ensured they lifted our spirits. We were slow, when compared to many other groups around us, but Amos never hurried us. We were allowed to hike in our pace, and he motivated us to move on, whenever we would rest for too long.
On the summit day, we had to leave around midnight to catch a glimpse of the sunrise. Without the support of the guides and the crew, we would not have been able to complete the trek. Amos and the assistant guide used to check our vitals often, to ensure we were safe and sound at all times.
The descent was a little difficult as it was slippery. But the crew helped us and ensured we reached the base safe. We could not have asked for a better team to accompany us on the trek.
We are planning to visit Africa again, and we are sure we will book it with Monkey Adventures, for the quality of service they offer. I would highly recommend Monkey Adventures.
