Very good
We did an 18 days safari in Kenya & Tanzania in Oct/Nov 2018 through Mojhi that was organised by Monkey Adventures.
This was my 7th safari in East Africa and one of the longest.
Our tour planning consultants at Mojhi were patient with my questions and always responded within a day to accommodate my frequently changing plans that went on for over 8 months!
We covered Samburu, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Amboseli national parks.
The safari with Monkey adventures in both Kenya & Tanzania were super fun, thanks to our guides Dickson in Kenya and Cosmas in Tanzania! About Dickson, I think he has over 15 years experience of guiding safaris and it shows in this knowledge of the parks and wildlife. He is also a very good driver and was very patient and accommodating. At Samburu, we spent over 2 hours near a pride of 3 lions waiting for them to hunt Zebras and Dicksons patience, manoeuvrability were amazing as he was trying to get us to positions that give us good view of the action while not disturbing lions or their prey. He appears to know everyone at every accommodation from security guards to managers and he also knew many rangers! When we got a little delayed at Masai Mara gate, he spoke to rangers and then with park warden to get us through.
I challenged him to show us dung beetles as we have not seen it in our previous safaris and he did manage to show us a dung beetle in action, just on the boundary of Masai mara.
After he dropped us at Isabenia, we asked to have Dickson again as our guide for Amboseli which we was scheduled after 7 days and Monkey adventures readily agreed.
Our Tanzania guide Mr. Cosmas is a Masai that worked at a camp in Serengeti for few years and knew Serengeti like the back of his hand. His friendly apparently refer to him as lord of Serengeti! He answered almost all our questions ranging from geological history of Serengeti/Ngorongoro to local cultural practices. He was very passionate about wildlife and with his good sense of humour, it was fun to do safaris with him.
All the accommodations we stayed at in Kenya/Tanzania were top notch. We spent a lot of time reviewing and shortlisting accommodations before our trip and I think it was well worth the effort.

Memorable
My wife and I had an amazing 8 days of Trip in Kenya, with Monkey Adventures. We booked my safari, covering Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha & Amboseli National parks.
Mr. Nyani, the consultant we dealt with during our planning stage was very helpful and had answers to every question and concern we had regarding our Africa trip. He also assisted with booking our accommodation in Nairobi and arranged for transfers between my Hotel and airport.
Mr. Letaloi, our guide, was a very experienced safari guide & driver, and drove around the parks very safely. His wealth of knowledge, and networking skills with rangers and other guides helped us identify specific locations in national parks where we could find the animals we were looking for. He is also a very charming personality and we became good friends during our trip.
Monkey Adventures made our trip memorable by selecting excellent places to stay. Basecamp in Masai Mara was lovely and Oltukai Lodge in Amboseli had amazing views.
We would genuinely recommend their safaris, and we think they provide a great service at really good prices.
Cheers!

A trip to remember!
We booked our Masai Mara safari in December 2018 with Monkey Adventures and we really enjoyed it.
About the park: This is our first safari and we are hooked! Masai Mara is an amazing park with huge variety of wild-life and we saw lots of lions, several cheetahs, couple of leopards, many elephants and lot of other herbivores during our 4 days safari in Masai Mara. Only regret is we couldn’t spot Rhino. Apparently they were spotted a day before our trip but when we were there they disappeared :|
About the safari: Our driver guide Mr. Kitavi is extremely talented in spotting animals from great distances. He could spot and accurately identify animals while driving, with his naked eyes and we used to struggle to spot even with binocs in a stationary vehicle. He had great knowledge about birdlife and flora of Masai Mara.
We were happy that we decided to go with private safari instead of a group safari that we initially planned to book.
We stayed at the Ilkeliani camp, next to Talek river on the border of Masai Mara and we loved it. Everything from the food to the quality of the tents were perfect. Throughout the trip, were greeted by very nice people and the staff were very supportive of our needs.
This was an unforgettable experience and we would highly recommend Monkey Adventures and their guide Mr. Kitavi.

Lucky to have found them! They're the best
Safari to Masai Mara and Nakuru
My girlfriend and I went for a 4 day safari covering Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru in September. It was fantastic! Our Land cruiser arrived at 7 AM sharp to receive us on the day of safari.
We had a comfortable drive to Masai Mara. As we arrived at Sekenani Camp, we were greeted with welcome drinks. The staff at the tented camp, (Ms.Grace?) were very accommodating, and the camp was beautiful.
The next morning, our day started with a Hot Air Balloon safari. We were picked up before sunrise for the balloon ride and post the safari, we had a nice champagne breakfast. It was an incredibly fascinating experience to get an aerial view of the landscape with the wild animals right below us. It had been in by bucket list for a long time and I am glad we were able to fulfil our wish. The day included game drives, and we were lucky to see 4 out of the Big 5 of Africa in the same day. We also had a visit to a local Masai village, and it was very interesting to know about their culture and activities something to treasure forever .
Our driver, Tony, was a fantastic guide as well. His knowledge about the animals was incredible. We had so many questions about the animals and the park, and he would answer each of them convincingly and patiently. He was a friendly guy, and ensured we reached every destination safely.
Next morning, we starting towards Nakuru. We had booked the Flamingo Hill tented camp, and our night stay there was amazing.
We had great sightings at Nakuru. The most memorable experience was a herd of Buffaloes and 2 Rhinos which crossed our path right in front of our vehicle.
On our last day, since we had some time, Tony suggested that we have a small stop at Lake Naivasha for a boat ride. We loved it, as we were taken close to the Hippos and amazing birds.
After a brief stop at the office, we were dropped off at the airport. I must admit it was the best trip in the recent past. We had discussed about our specific requirements in terms of food and other logistics, and everything was perfectly handled.
Thanks to Tony and Monkey Adventures, we had a fantastic safari experience. We would highly recommend their safaris.
Thanks!

Strongly recommend monkey adventures. Masai village tour wasn't that great.
We did a 5 days safari with Monkey adventures in February covering masai mara and Amboseli national parks. We flew between Nairobi to masai mara and masai mara to Amboseli to save drive time and it was a good call!
For Masai Mara safari we got mr.Sammy, a masai as ourpunctual thnd for Amboseli it was Mr. Patrick. Both of them were wonderful but Mr. Sammy being a masai in his masai attire and with his stories of masai culture and history made our masai mara trip very memorable. He was born and raised in masai mara and knew every corner of the park and had friends everywhere in the park. At mara, we stayed at Sarova mara camp. It had nice service, great food but the room(tent) felt a bit smaller.
We took a masai village tour in masai mara but it felt staged and for most time people were trying to sell us stuff. I would suggest to avoid Masai village tour.
We flew to Amboseli in the afternoon of day 3 and were met by Mr. Patrick at airsrrip who was our guide for next 2 days. Patrick is professional and knowledgeable and he showed us lions, hyenas and many elephants and Buffaloes and other big and small animals at Amboseli. We stayed at serena lodge in Amboseli and it was lovely.
One particular thing we liked about monkey is they were very, punctual through out. Starting from our pickup at Nairobi airport, till the end of our safari every thing was planned and organized like clockwork which was not so self evident during our rest of trip in Kenya.
Overall, Im very pleased with our safari experience organized by monkey adventures.

Awesome safari and kilimanjaro hike with Monkey Adventures
We chose Monkey Adventures for our Kilimanjaro hike and Tanzania safari and I am extremely glad that I made the right choice!
After some basic research on Tripadvisor and other forums, we shortlisted Monkey Adventures and sent a mail across to them to enquire, and we had a lot of questions as this was the first time we were visiting Africa. Nyani was very quick in responding to all our queries, and help us through the payment process to book their tours.
We opted for the airport transfers, as we knew it would be better to have a complete package than to arrange for it ourselves, (and honestly, it is worth it if you are a group of 3-4). We were picked up by the driver and dropped to our hotel in Moshi. We were briefed about our trek the same evening and were ready for our ascent to the ‘Roof of Africa’. Next morning, we picked up the gears from the rental stores as we went to the Machame gate. We had a great company of porters, cooks and guides. The porters ensured we found a nice spot to pitch our tents. The crew was very friendly, and motivated each of us, when we were tired or lost hope of continuing any further. It would not have been possible to reach the summit, if not for the support of these amazing people. Frank was an amazing guide and we are grateful for having him on our attempt to scale Africa’s highest peak. It was tough, but we did it! We also received certificates for having completed the trek. It was a sweet gesture and will be a valuable possession for me!
After the trek, we went to Arusha the same day, as recommended by Nyani. We took rest at our Hotel in Arusha, and were greeted well by the staff there. We had booked a 2 day safari to Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater. The accommodation that they had selected for us (Simba Tarangire Lodge) was so amazing. Masai was an amazing guide. He had great knowledge, ensured we were taken to different parts of the park safely, and showed us many animals. He also had a good sense of humor and made sure we had a great time. The best part was this was a private safari, with just the four of us, and the guide. Hence we never felt cramped for space.
After the safari, we were dropped off at the airport. It was an amazing tour and thanks to Monkey Adventures, our African Holiday was a truly memorable one!
East Africa is our new favorite holiday destination and I would highly recommend Monkey Adventures! They are great.

Thank you Cosmas and Monkey Adventures!
Our Guide Cosmas from Monkey Adventures was a very experienced and friendly guide and driver. He was excellent at spotting animals and explaining things about animals, land, people and the culture of Tanzania and Masais. He made us fall in love with Tanzania! Accommodations we were recommended at Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Tarangire were all wonderful.
Thank you very much Monkey Adventures team.

A trip to remember for life!
My partner and I booked our 4 days safari with Monkey Adventures.
They were great, right from getting back to our queries in time, through to the booking process and till the end of the safari. Mr. Nyani responded to our mails promptly and was very helpful in assisting us to find the right tour for us and answer all our questions.
We were picked up from the Kilimanjaro Airport by Mr. Nurdin, and we had booked for a nights accommodation at Arusha at African Tulip hotel. Next morning after a small overview of the tour from Monkey Adventures staff, we left for the safari with Mr. Casmir as our guide.
Casmir was a wonderful driver guide! He had so much knowledge about the national parks and wildlife and he made sure our safari was a great experience. His driving skills were pretty good as well. He would take us to the right spot where we could get the best visual of the animals we would spot. Camir made it feel like an educational tour for us, as he explained in great detail about Flora and fauna, geography, culture, etc.
The accommodation that Monkey adventures booked for us during safari was fantastic. We were looking for Luxury accommodations for our tour, and they booked Melia lodge in Central Serengeti and Lemala Ngorongoro at Ngorongoro crater rim.
Thanks to Monkey Adventures team and especially our guide Casmir, our trip was very memorable one and exceeded all of our expectations.

Professional and well organized
We were so excited about our Safari trip to Kenya that we booked 6 months in advance after consulting a lot of agents. We finally decided on Monkey Adventures as our safari Organiser based on their prices.
We had Nelson as our guide and thanks to him we had the experience of our lifetime. Nelson is a fantastic guide and he showed us a lot of interesting flora and fauna. I think except the Rhinos, we were able to see all other prominent wildlife of Africa. His spotting skills were amazing as he could sight wildlife from a very long distance. To maximise the time we spent in the parks, we also had packed lunch during the safari (picnic style). He ensured we would see as many animals as possible, and also took us to specific locations were we could take good photographs of the wildlife. It was a great tour and we were able to experience and learn and above all enjoy a lot.
There was an instance where another safari vehicle was stuck in the mud, and Nelson helped pull the vehicle out. He also took us to an authentic Kenya hotel to have local cuisine, before dropping us at the airport.
Before the safari we were briefed by the ladies from Monkey adventures at our hotel. I’m sorry I forgot their names but they were very professional and ensured we knew the whole plan of the safari. They also set great mood before our tour.
Our booking agent was Mojhi, and Pavan from Mojhi ensured that all our questions were answered in time. He also assisted us in booking accommodation and suggested the suitable ones based on our requirement.
Overall, we would highly recommend booking your trip through Monkey Adventures.
Cheers!

5 day Lake Manyara/Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Crater excursion
Nyani responded promptly to all inquiries with exactly the information we were looking for. Our guide, Sam, was excellent. He is friendly, knowledgeable and experienced--his services are highly recommended. Accommodations were very comfortable and well-located with beautiful views of landscape and wildlife. The meals at each lodge, including daily lunchboxes, were presented with care and tasted good. There were always vegetarian options available, and food allergies were carefully noted.
Between all three parks we saw the Big 5 and much more--the migration was particularly spectacular and definitely a highlight of the trip.
Overall, it was a great experience that exceeded expectation.
