The best Safari Experience you will ever have!! Highly Recommended
Mathew and the team at Bateleur Eagle Safari are outstanding! The communication before, during and after the safari was excellent. Mathew went out of his way to ensure that everything run smoothly and it did. From the moment we landed in Kenya to the moment we left everything was organised impeccably, to very high standards and as agreed.
Edwin, our driver and guide during the safari was knowledgeable, fun, accommodating and also went out of his way to make our safari experience an unforgettable one. He was incredible at spotting the animals and gifted us with encounters with lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, leopards and everything in between.
Mike, our driver whilst in Nairobi was also excellent and made sure we got to where we needed to go safely and with enough time to see all the wonderful sites Nairobi has to offer.
There were four of us travelling and we all had an amazing time. We would not hesitate using Bateleur Eagle Safari again and we highly recommend them.

Making the most of our experience!
Bateleur Eagle Safaris is an excellent tour operator, and our Safari with them was the highlight of our stay in Kenya.
Newton had regular and clear communication in the days leading up to our tour. The payment was handled professionally and efficiently. It was a bit of stretch for our budget, but well worth it, especially for only 3 days and two nights.
Our accommodations with the Zebra Plains Amboselli Camp were incredible. The location is gorgeous with stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The room was private, comfortable, and had running water for shower, and facilities. They were very understanding of our dietary restrictions (vegetarian), and the meals were tasty. The camp is a bit of a distance from Amboselli, but the drive is well worth it, as the terrain is different from the park, and we saw wildlife everyday to and from the park. All in all a lovely place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The game drives were excellent. Steven, our guide, really helped us maximize our time, and made sure that we saw a lot of the park, a lot of the animals. He also is very knowledgeable about animals, he spots them well, he understands and explains their behavior, and he has literature on them. We spent most of our time on Safari in the park or driving too and from the park, so we really got the most of our time. Steven is also an incredible driver, and was able to navigate tricky terrain, we didn't get stuck once, and in fact we were able to help out stuck jeep. :)
If we are ever lucky enough to return to East Africa, we would love to go on Safari with Bateleur. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Our 4th trip to Kanya arranged by Mathew. And is was fantastic again :-)
We have been in Kenya four times. Tree times before Mathew has arranged our stay in another company and together with the excellent guide Geoffrey we have had experiences we never will forget. This time Mathew arranged everyting in his own new company,Bateleur Eagle Safaris. This time we visited Amboseli, Nairobi (Eka hotell), Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara and before leaving home we had some hours stay at the 4 season hotel at the airport. We have traveled around with Geoffrey for 14 days all four times. He is like an open book, his knowledge about Kenya, the people, the parks and the animals is absolutely fantastic. We are learning a lot from him. We give him and Mathew the best recomendations possible. We are already planning the next trip and our daugheter will go there in September 2020.

Unforgettable experience
There are many safari operators to choose from but Bateleur Eagle Safaris stood out for me from the start. Their brochure, communication and prompt responses to many questions I had gave me confidence in the choice and they delivered.
The information presented before the trip was filled with many details and ensured easier preparation for me.

Excellent service from booking to our flight home at a reasonable cost
Excellent communications before our late booking, all questions and queries were answered immediately. Airport pickup was as planned. All hotels and lodges were of a high standard, our tour guide was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Our private safari tour exceeded our expectations and we saw so many wonderful animals and beautiful birds with spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Jackson our tour guide also taught us a lot about life in Kenya. We could not have asked for more.

Incredibly reliable, excellent service
We worked with Newton and the team for our wedding in Nanyuki. It involved about 70 - almost all of whom traveled from abroad - people needing transport from Nairobi to Nanyuki, within Nanyuki, and back to Nairobi. They filled numerous car needs for us, from individual transfers and safari needs, to our wedding shuttles and bus for 30 people back to Nairobi to take a flight to the coast. They were responsive throughout and adaptive to changing plans. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Extremely efficient and knowledgeable
Firstly we were very impressed by the communication. Newton replied immediately to my emails.
We were very impressed with them altogether .They arrived on time at our hotel to pick us up and gave a comprehensive briefing and we were introduced to our driver/guide. We were with him (Steve) for the next 4 days.
As a guide he was great. He persuaded us to wait a while when we could see a leopard behind a bush, and sure enough it was worth the wait, as she emerged clearly, walked down into a ravine and jumped up the other side. We had 3 separate sightings of the very illusive leopard.
We had sightings of elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, we saw everything but the Rhino.
We even saw part of the migration when a long column of Wildebeests ran by. We didn't see them going across the river, but understood we were too late in the season. Steve recommended we come back in August.
The camp was excellent, especially the restaurant where the food was superb. I am extremely hard to please, and was able to eat every meal. Excellent chef, and the chap in charge was excellent too, I've forgotten his name. I was disappointed the pool was not available.
The only downside was the journey to and from Nairobi over the unmade roads, very bumpy and tiring. I felt sorry for the driver having to negotiate such awful terrain for so long.

The most wonderful and unique experience!
It was the greatest experience ever!
We only had 3 days and we wanted to see the maximum. I can't thank Bateleur Eagle Safaris enough for making our trip unforgettable and stress free.
Newton organised everything for us , providing us with enough time to rest but also filling up the days with plenty of activities and beauty to enjoy. He was always online to answer any of my questions.
The accommodation in Amboseli was extraordinary, the game rides were out of this world and our driver was the friendliest human being we've ever met.
I wish we had more time to spend in Kenya. I thought the time won't be enough to enjoy , but they made it absolutely possible and enjoyable. They actually made it hard for us to leave.
I can't wait to be back in Kenya!
