Simply Amazing! Best experience ever
I decided to go with Bateleur after contacting multiple vendors on here and I am so glad I did. I initially had to reschedule due to travel restrictions and they were so understanding.
Newton and the team were amazing, they were prompt in their response, always available via WhatsApp and made sure I understood every detail.
I did 4 day customised Safari with them and I saw 4 out of the big 5 on the second day. The driver, Anthony knew all the hidden corners of the Mara.
They also work with great partners and I had a 5 star experience in Loyk Tent and Hot air balloon.
100% recommend. Definitely good value for your money...I wouldn't look elsewhere

BEST VACATION OF MY LIFE!!!
This is my second safari with Bateleur Eagle Safaris, my best friend and I just returned from a 2 1/2 week vintage safari with them from 8/26/21 to 9/13/21. Everything about this vacation was PERFECT!!!! Our guide Mathew planned out our itinerary and guided us all over Kenya stopping at several game reserves. Our driver Steve was THE BEST!!!!! He drove a thousand miles all over Kenya without any issues at all. During our safari, a dream of mine was to see the Tano Bora (the famous cheetah brothers of the Maasai Mara) and they found them!!!! That was a moment I will never forget and will cherish a lifetime.
It is difficult to put into words the remarkable, amazing adventure my friend and I experienced. The camps were beautiful and comfortable, the food outstanding but the best part was the friendships we made with the Kenyan people. The hardest part was saying goodbye to Mathew and Steve at the airport there were many tears.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing me the best vacation of my life, I am forever grateful. ♥

Trustworthy company with fast and reliable communication.
We decided to go on the safari with five guys and after some research we selected Bateleur Eagle Safaris. We were not disappointed. The organizer contacted us immediately via whatsapp and was willing to tailor safari what fits to our groups needs. Every question which came up to our minds, Winston was ready to help and answer to them in no time at all. Even just regular Kenya/our trip related question, which didn't relate to the safari in any way.
We paid the deposit upfront and paid the rest when we saw each other. The deposit payment was easy to make in the net bank. Rest of the payment was bit of a hassle, because we needed to withdrawal dollars from Nairobi, but there are only some atm's where you can withdrawal them, but in the end we found one.
Pick-up and drop off back to the Nairobi worked smoothly. They always drove to our accommodations parking lot for the pick-up/drop-off.
We had zero expectations about the safari, but our driver/guide managed to show us all of the animals what we could imagine seeing in the safari. Even the Rhino which is really uncommon to see in maasai mara, least if you spend there only three days! He was willing to tell us about the animals, how they behave and about their manners etc.
I would say that the trip was worth every cent of it. Just be ready hear lot of animal noises during the night-time, while you are trying to sleep :).
Greetings from Finland to our organizer Winston & to our driver/guide Geoffrey. These guys we could trust, and hope you can also.

Indeed it was life changing experience
My husband and I had the best time on Safari. Bateleur Eagle Safari team really put an effort to make our trip memorable. Booking and communication with Newton, sales officer, was in very professional manner, simple and without any hustle. Our tour guide Steve was very patient with us, and experienced in his knowledge about animals and Kenyan culture. Camp that we stayed in (Basecamp) was also comfortable, has a great staff and great food. Location was also great. Together with Bataleurs Eagle Safari they made my 30th birthday memorable. They surprised me with a cake and special Maasai dance and song.
Value for money was really good comparing other agencies. On our three day Safari, we managed to see 4 out of big 5 wild animals, and many other beside those.
The only thing that needs improvement would be different car for road trip from Nairobi to Mara and back. It was quite uncomfortable to drive for 5-6 hours in a car that is meant for safari drive and not for normal road drive. But that didn’t ruin our overall experience and rating of this trip.
We will definitely recommend Bateleur Eagle Safari to our friends and colleagues.

Exceptional
We were blown away with our Safari adventure with Bateleur Eagle Safaris. Mathew and Steve were amazing. Their knowledge and experience was proven every day when they spotted animals in the bushes, trees or sky…. We had great accommodations and the food was excellent. Everything we needed or wanted was handled. All the waiting and planning and it was perfect. Our only regret was leaving our new Africa family but we know we will be back for another adventure. I highly recommend that when you are ready to explore Africa you reach out to their team. We will be back and are waiting to finalize our next adventure.

A once in a life time experience.
I had an amazing trip! We booked quite last minute, but the tour company was still able to have everything organised exactly the way we wanted. The service and friendliness of the staff was amazing. They went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience.

AMAZING SAFARI
I want to start by saying thanks to all those who contributed to make this trip unforgettable, each of the camps was a unique experience, I want to especially thank our guide Amos who at every moment had the best disposition and attitude when going out to look for the wildlife, we saw all the animals we expected, the stay was incredible, clean and unique rooms, the food in the three camps was of very good quality, the transportation and services included were what they offered, the customer service provided by the General manager was excellent, Mathew Wambua, always attentive to my needs and expectations, his response was always timely and on time, no matter how many times he changed the dates, the manager always had a very good response. I 100% recommend Bateleur Eagle Safaris, every dollar paid for this safari was worth it, without a doubt I would live this wonderful experience again.

Magnificent
My wife and i came to kenya safari for our honeymoon, we had such an amazing time, people are so nice very easy to communicate, everyone goes above and beyond your expextations, our money was so worth. If youre looking to have a good time and enjoy everything you can i suggest you request Jackson as ypur tour driver. He was so wonderful very educated in everything, not to mention his personality is beautiful. He really really really made sure we had a good time and he made sure we left happy and he forsure did everything on his side to help us see all big 5 animals. It was such a wonderful trip. Its been a week since we got back and we are still not done talking to everyone about our experience, we have some friends and family who will be coming back with us soon. :) and we are definetly looking forward to having jack as our tour driver again he really was outstanding, very outgoing we even played some board games together. My wife had a wonderful experience to. She was not a big big fan about going to africa, the distance and the heat (which was nothing like what she thought) and Kenya,Jackson,Newton,Daniel at lyok camp, all of our new friends over in kenya, all together made her experiece the best shes had. She said kenya turned out to be the best trip we have taken and we have been to plenty, but she said kenya has topped all the other trips and now she cant wait to go back. Thank you Kenya & Bateleur Eagle Safari Team for being such an experience!!

Outstanding customer experience and personalized care.
Where do I begin, let me start with the trip itself (including our experience with our guide Geoffrey):
It was so wonderful and everything we wanted to do, such, just being able to spend time observing the wildlife of Kenya in a variety of settings and staying in small lodges and camps. Seeing all the animals and birds, large and small, we had dreamed of and so many more at such close range and quiet unperturbed by our presence in the amazing Land rover 4x4 by our best guide we could had dream of (Geoffrey - one chapter is needed just for him).
Of course seeing the animals was the main focus of the trip and Geoffrey was extremely knowledgeable so we all LEARNED alot... We found this trip to be amazingly educational ... my children (14 and 12 at the time) both felt that they came away with a greater appreciation for nature and for the people of Kenia that we did interact along the week our trip last. Learning from Geoffrey about animal behaviour and watching them track through what they could see on the ground and hear was fascinating. In terms of adrenaline some of the speedy drives on rough tracks to get to an animal sighting were interesting (remember the leopards in Masai Mara and the lions on Amboseli), but just to sit quietly in the truck almost in touching distance of elephants, leopard and lions was amazing. The landscape of Amboseli is unbelievable, enjoying the sunshine and later the sunsetting in our game drive on our 4x4 with Kilimanjaro's as landscaped (family goal now is to climb all the way to the top - another adventure to come). No words for these 2 days.
Again, this was a fantastic holiday and all the Safaris lodges and camps were great, the food exceptional and the staff brilliant. Also, all was very well thought out in terms of moving between different types and pace of reserves, great accommodation and meals. Lots of time just to watch the animals and also birds - we were very lucky to see what is termed the magnificent 7 - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhinocerous plus cheetah and wild African dogs, but we saw so much more - hippos , spotted hyenas, black backed jackals... This was partly down to good fortune combined with the skill and determination of Geoffrey and the number of hours we spend in the bush on this holiday.
From an agency perspective (organization, value for money, customer experience), I must start saying that I organized this dream family vacation with less than one week time. Managed everything from WhatsApp and few calls with Newton (one of the co-founders and co-owner of Bateleur Eagle Safaris). Speechless how he put together the itinerary based on a high level plan I got from friends and browsing internet. From there, every adjustment, questions, doubts, concerns, where always timely responded in record time. When it got to costs, which I had good places to benchmark, I felt confident immediately when saw they always beat same lodges, camps, in price compared with competition. This attention did not finish until the moment we jump to amazing 4x4 off-road car with Geoffrey as he was always available during our week stay in Kenia to anything we could need. We actually had several situations, such, one day we change the restaurant planned as we changed a bit the itinerary and they got charge of it anyway (nice customer attention and gesture). When we decided to return from Masai Mara by plain, they were to ones warning us about changes due to government restrictions that morning, thought, we bought the tickets through internet and not through them. All an all, can just recommend them for this dream Safari that we did in family (Me, wife and my 2 teenagers kids).
Last, that was our trip:
Amboseli Sentrim (2 nights)
Lake Naguru (1 night) - we did drove and visit Naivasha before arrival to Naguru
Masai Mara (2 nights)
Nairobi (1 night and full day)
Departure back home late evening
