Wonderful unforgettable twenty one days in Kenya, Tanzania & Rwanda arranged for us by Bateleur Eagl
We thoroughly enjoyed our safari. Should we go on another safari in East Africa we will most definitely use Bateleur Eagle Safaris again. Newton planned the safari with us from the start. He communicated with us all the detail. The safari covered Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania. When we arrived in Kenya he was at the airport to welcome us personally. Our guides Jeff (in Kenya) and Bashir (in Tanzania) and Thomas (in Rwanda) assisted us and tried to ensure that all our expectations were met. They were flexible and so helpful. The accommodation, safari vehicles were up to standard. We were well looked after. Thank you Bateleur Eagle Safaris for the unforgettable memories. We recommend them to anyone wishing to tour East Africa. Cheers.

Reality exceeds expectation
We had an amazing safari , everything went perfectly well. The company worked on our booking very fast and with awesome effectiveness. They were very punctual, competent and professional at all times.
Selected accommodations couldn't have been better. All the staff were very kind and friendly, the setting was idyllic and the food was very tasty. We'll definitely miss our cup of coffee in the camps after the safari!!
Before finishing, we'd like to thank Stephen, our guide and driver, for being so charming, coming along with us these seven days and helping us during the tour. We only have good words for him, he was the best partner we could have ever had!! Thank you, Stephen, you made our safari very special. We hope to see you again someday!

A fantastic safari experience , memories that will stay with us forever
My mum and I did a 6 nights, 7 days safari of Tanzania. From the initial request for a quote to meeting point and then the safari itself , the experience was amazing. Our guide Bashir was friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about the areas we visited and the animals we saw. The different locations we stayed in were perfect, each of them was brilliant - friendly welcoming staff, great food and facilities. The tour had a great balance of sight seeing and relax time. I would not hesitate to recommend Bateleur Eagle Safaris to anyone - thank you Newton, Mathew & Bashir you gave us a trip to remember!

An excellent and reliable operator for Kenya safaris
I planned a relatively last minute private safari to Masai Mara and Matthew found me a superb camp (Karen Blixen). We had a last minute cancellation in our group and he also accommodated that well. Overall a largely seamless experience. our guide also went above and beyond and worked hard to ensure that we were able to spot a leopard and baby. Our camp was the best camp I’ve stayed at (I had done 4 safaris previously)

Amazing safari from start to finish
The communication was great. This was my first time going on safari so I had many questions for Mathew and he always replied in a speedy yet detailed manor. In terms of the service on safari it was second to none and our guide peter was very helpful and friendly during the entire trip. We saw elephants on the way to our lodge before we even started the safari, and saw lions within 20 minutes of the safari starting. I never imagined that we would be able to get so close to the lions and this was all down to Mathew recommending good lodges with private areas where they can off-road from the beaten track. I will recommend Bateleur Eagle safaris to my friends and family.

Once in a lifetime experience
Bateleur Eagle Safaris offers great service. I was traveling with a colleague after working for a few days in Nairobi and we had a great time. Our driver Martin went above an beyond in the game drives to make sure we could see all the animals. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The food in the campsite was really good and all the people are willing to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you Bateleur Eagle Safaris for helping me have the best memories possible during my time in the Masai Mara.

Great experience from booking to actual tour. Communication was quick and clear. The places suggested were excellent.
Richard, our guide, was always punctual and had good knowledge about the area and animals. He went out of his way to show us all the sights.

Loved it!
Exceeded our expectations. Incredible experience. Had a really great time and the best tour guide ever. Everyone was super nice to us. Everything was well organised and we felt very comfortable. Booked another day through the tour company as we had some more time in Kenya and will definetely book with them again when we get a chance.
