Fantastic - highly recommend Destinations Africa

Ken and I had a wonderful time and the wildlife exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed with the accommodation and guides that we had at all of our destinations. We had a number of flights and pick-ups, I was so happy with the smoothness of the changeovers as this can sometimes be very stressful. We would certainly be interested in doing this type of adventure again and will recommend your company to any of our friends. Thank you so much for making this trip more than we could ever have expected.

I wanted to write to Hilary and John to thank them every day we were in Africa but wifi isn't great on safari. They organised our trip so well for us, everything went like clockwork. All the bookings, transitions, flights, transfers etc worked perfectly. John and Hilary's recommendations were wonderful. We loved everywhere we stayed, we had truly amazing experiences at Motswari and Savanna game parks, and enjoyed the comfort of Olivers hotel. As a result of our wonderful experiences we fell in love with Africa and have to go back now we have the Africa bug. We can totally recommend Destinations Africa to anyone thinking of travelling to Africa. They are so well-informed, reliable and thorough, and seem always to be available to answer queries or give advice.

Amazing - Exceeded Expectations

To Destinations Africa. On behalf of my wife and I, please accept our sincere thank you for an African holiday that exceeded expectations. Your time, effort, knowledgeable suggestions and assistance to the minute detail including restaurant reservations during a protracted planning period ensured our tailored holiday was an amazing experience. Your intimate attention to detail including even a valuable tipping guide made our travel experience a dream. Our favorite lodge was the Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe for personable service. Our best experience was the 25-minute helicopter flight over Victoria Falls. The most sightings of Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the rare and critically endangered Rhino and Painted Dog occurred at Cheetah Plains Safari Lodge in Sabi Sands. Our best restaurant was the Monneaux at the true 5 star Franschhoek Country House & Villas. For anyone wanting to visit Africa you do not need to look any further than Destinations Africa.

Destinations Africa arranged an amazing African experience for our family of 10

Having traveled to Africa several times before we were excited to travel with our children & 4 grand-children aged 11 to 14.
Having contacted John he was very understanding of our general plans and gave us an amazing combination of experiences.
As we were traveling in peak season he was able to use his knowledge and contacts for our 17 day adventure.
The itinerary took us from Zimbabwe ( Nantwich Lodge), Vic Falls, (VF Safari Lodge) to Kruger( Kapama River Lodge) & ( Simbambili) .
Each of these places offered a different experience- not only in game viewing ,but the entire " Safari Lodge " combination of adventure & luxury.

Every aspect of the itinerary was handled with friendly professionalism. Not having to worry about the logistics was perfect making it possible to relax & experience everything Africa has to offer.

This was certainly all we could have hoped for; giving all of us life-long shared memories.

Best Trip Ever

Hi Lindy,

Just got off the phone to you and thought I had better reply straight away incase the world got in the way and I forgot.

Mum Kevin and myself had the best time in South Africa and would not have changed a thing in the itinerary.

If we had to pick a highlight it was The Hyde. Daryl and Toppers were amazing along with all the staff. Food, atmosphere, wildlife did not disappoint. Even the 5.30am cool mornings in a tent were ok as we got dressed so quickly to meet the car. Hot water bottle was a welcome surprise in the evening bed. We felt we had privacy yet met some wonderfull people.They have the business plan all worked out.

All our pickups were ready and waiting for us throughout the stay and the detailed information given and also the app made checking easy. We loved the small air flights and the longest drive was to Motswari and we saw elephants, Lions, Wild Dogs,and Buffalo on the drive in.

Vic Falls was a relaxing interlude and the helicopter ride was a must to really understand the topography of the falls. It was also the best souvenir shopping in the streets walking back from the falls.
Rissington Inn was a relaxing transition to Motswari.

Motswari was very comfortable and once again would not have changed a thing. Due to the density of the trees and undergrowth animals were a little harder to find, but find we did. The only animal we did not see in our travels was a Cheetah. The accomodation was the most comfortable overall but The Hide won on a lot of little extras eg waterproof wool lined ponchos on the drives. And an almost over abundance of animals.

One again I would just like to thank you all so much for listening to our brief and your attention to every detail eg tipping, weather, what to pack, etc. I can not tell you how many times we easily could refer to all your info.
