A life changing experience with an incredible company!
What an amazing experience, from the first moment we met our guides Muntari and Frank, we were so impressed by their knowledge and experience of supporting people to complete the Kilimanjaro summit and immediately knew we were in safe hands!
They were professional, friendly and supportive throughout the whole journey and filled us with confidence in their abilities.
Their knowledge and commitment to our safety and well being at all times was unquestionable, adding local natural and geographical knowledge to our journey along the way and teaching us some Swahili with patience, kindness and a great sense of humour!
The whole crew of porters who supported our trip were helpful beyond belief and a pleasure to get to know. The food and hospitality we received was top notch and almost unbelievable at 4000+ metres up the mountain.
I can whole heartedly recommend this company and commend Muntari, Frank and the team on their amazing work. Asante Sana.
Great people and amazing adventure!
Had the greatest trip climbing Kilimanjaro with Muntari, Sule, Frank and their team. All of them were so amazing, caring and motivating and ensured that all of the group would make it to the top of Kilimanjaro, which we all did! It was an experience to remember and Sule’s wise words that everything was “easy” becoming the main statement throughout the trek (although the summit was a little bit tough!!), made the trek more motivating and have greater determination to make it to the summit. All the guides were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the trek, checking to see how we felt and what we should be aware about. Frank was a real trooper and led our tours each day, and was a very kind and caring individual.
As to the rest of the team, the service received was incredible. Everyone from the guides to the chef to the porters were amazing and very attentive to our needs. It was lovely to wake up to smiles around camp everyday and would love to thank them for their support throughout the journey. Thank you to the chef for all the wonderful meals made for us, all meals were delicious and filling, and every day there was something different cooked up for us. The food service was made even better by Muni who served all of our meals, brought us teas/coffee to our tent in the morning and hot water to wash ourselves with, we couldn’t have wished for better service and a happier smiley person. Ustadhi provided an extra amazing service and cleaned our boots for us each day which we did not expect when first starting the trek, it was so nice to have fresh boots for the following day, I think my boots came off the mountain looking cleaner than they did before stepping foot on the mountain!
Thank you once again to the whole team, I couldn’t recommend them enough and the trip itself. It was an experience to remember.

The best tour guides
We had an amazing experience with Almighty Kilimanjaro (tour group of 5). They provided an excellent service throughout and always put our needs and safety first. Excellent value for money. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and always helped us with any questions, including daily briefings so we knew what would be happening the next day. The whole team put in the extra mile to get us through the hike, even when people were struggling they helped get us up the mountain. We simply wouldn’t have made it to the summit without this great group of guys. The food was great, with lots of variety (soups, chicken, vegetables, fruit, rice, stews, fish, pancakes, omelettes etc.). The porters and staff did an amazing job, carrying and setting up our tents, serving us food, making us hot drinks when we woke up, providing hot water for washing and even cleaning our boots every day! Special mentions to Muntari, Swalehe, Frank, Muni (service with a smile), Shabhan (super chef), Apollo, Bernard and Ustadhi (plus all of the other porters and crew) for making this such a special experience for us. I highly recommend this company if you are thinking of hiking Kilimanjaro (machame route).

Incredible
I did the six day Machame route with Almighty Kilimanjaro and I had such an amazing experience. Guided by Muntari, Sule and Frank, we were all successful in summiting the mountain. They kept us us going at a steady pace, motivated us along the way and routinely checked in on us to ensure we were doing ok. I will never forget summit day - our guides and supporters singing and chanting as we ascended the mountain, which was extremely energizing.
The food throughout the entire trip was delicious - the chef was amazing and I could not believe the calibre of the meals served on the mountain. Muni, our trusty waiter, delivered five star service throughout the trip - from hot drinks in bed to hot water wash bowls and meal service - he looked after us and always had a smile on his face.
Each day when we arrived at our next camp, Ustadhi met us with a comfortable chair to sit on, removed our boots for cleaning and returned them in pristine condition.
I was in awe of the porters - carrying all of our stuff, along with supplies needed for the trek, up the mountain at a rapid pace to ensure camp was ready for us at each stop.
Climbing Kili is no easy feat, but the entire crew at Almighty Kilimanjaro made it possible!

Outstanding - Incredible from start to finish
From start to finish Almighly Kilimanjaro was AMAZING!
I did the 7 day Lemosho Route and had such an incredible experience with John and the team!
My guide John was professional, knowledgable and friendly and although I was the only person on the trek he put me at ease straight away, was always on hand for any questions and each day always discussed what the plan was for the following day. I felt at ease and knew I was in safe hands! During the trek he ensured that I was feeling fit and well and his motivation, support (and patience) successfully got me to the summit.
The whole crew were amazing, I was served delicious meals and definitely did not go hungry and the porters are just incredible making sure that everything is set up for you as soon as you get to each camp, I can’t imagine how difficult it all is logistically but they make it look so easy and always had a smile on their face!
What a team!!!
I would 100% recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro and I will definitely be back next year for Safari.

Great care of us!
Ok, Kilimanjaro was super hard, I had altitude sickness from day 2, got cold and overall realized mountain climbing is harder than I thought! However, I’m reviewing the team and the company and it was all excellent! We had three porters each, great cook and 2 guides for 3 people and they made our experience very nice. They were welcoming, encouraging us to get to the end and personally one of the guides Isa dragged me the last 30 mins to the summit, otherwise I wouldn’t have made it. Emmanuel was the lead guide and he was very knowledgeable, took great care of us but also encouraged us with some songs and silly chants when we were about to give up going up the summit. So, don’t underestimate how difficult this can be, try hiking up another 4K mountain first just to see how it goes, have enough warm clothes cause it’s damn cold all the time, but if you do decide to go this company is solid. Have enough cash for tipping cause apparently at Kili it is more than expected on other hikes, as if you are going solo you might not be in the big group and because of laws you cannot carry a lot of stuff so you’ll have a lot of porters. Approx 20% on top of what you paid for the trip is a recommendation so have that in mind.

Lemosho Route until the top!
We are an Italian couple and we climbed with other 8 people from GB throughout Lemosho Route. It was a very good experience with Jackson and its crew. They came to the airport as the flight landed to get us in Moshi, the accommodation in Panama Hotel was very comfortable. Next day we met our hiking mates and the guides, then we started the trek. Porters are superheroes - carrying everything for us from one camp to another, tents were always ready and so our baggage. They also provided us some hot washing water twice a day and drinking water whenever asked. Food was really good and plentiful, as Tony (guide) said: "if you want to reach the summit, you must eat!". Our plates were always full of pasta, soup, meat, rice and sauce, the chefs also cooked pancakes, porridge and eggs for breakfast. Hot beverage was always available during meals for preparing tea, hot chocolate, coffee, etc. Everyone was always kind to us and we felt like part of a family. Special thanks to the guides Jackson, Joseph, Tony, Abel and James for the summit night. It was a nice experience and we absolutely recommend Almighty Kili! Asante sana.
The perfect team
i don’t usually write reviews..but the Almighty Kilimanjaro team were just too special for me to not too.
From the very start of our 7 day lemosho route ascent to the peak of kilimanjaro - myself and my 3 friends felt extremely well looked after and well guided with everything that came our way.
i wouldn’t hesitate going with these guys…
they’ll feed you so much good food & continually put a smile on your face even if you are exhausted!
and most importantly. they’ll walk you at the very steady (pole pole) pace that is so necessary for this climb!
missing the mountain already. but i’m missing the company of the guides and porters at Almighty even more so..
many thanks to them,
Alex

Wonderful people who helped make a dream come true!
Almighty Kilimanjaro was an excellent company to travel with. They excelled in all areas and totally blew our expectations out the park! The food was absolutely amazing thanks to our brilliant chef! I celebrated a birthday on the mountain and he surprised us with a cake which was absolutely delicious! Our guide was so helpful and kind! Adam always had our best interests at heart and making sure we were always comfortable throughout the expedition. The porters were fantastic and always made sure our luggage was safely transported to the next camp. Everyone in the team always maintained a positive attitude and encouraged us to reach the summit! These people are absolutely incredible and helped make a birthday dream come true! I can’t recommend them enough!!

Amazing, must do trip!
A true test of self determination with amazing support from the guides, cooks and porters, I couldn’t have done it without them! The team I had were incredibly selfless and just wanted to help you succeed and enjoy yourself the whole time! They held great knowledge of the mountain and local region and their English was incredibly good! I would strongly recommend Almightily Kilimanjaro, especially Joseph (main guide) and his amazing team to anyone willing to have a crack at Mt Kilimanjaro!
