Above and beyond memories of a life time
5/5

Just back from our climb, I wanted to post a huge endorsement of Almighty Kilimanjaro. If you want to climb with a company you can trust to make every aspect of your hike a 5-star experience, this is the company. EVERYONE from the Guides, chef, waiter, and porters were stellar people - kind, knowledgeable and fun to hang with. Having climbed Kili more than twice, I can confidently point to Almighty Kilimanjaro as the best deal on the mountain. To me, when you can get quality like this for a great price, it's a big win. The best!

Lemosho route- 8 days
5/5

We had such a lovely time completing the Lemosho 8 day route.
The route was absolutely breathtaking, challenging and rewarding all in one. The scenery changed throughout and the summit night was something I'll remember forever. Such a mental and physical challenge only made possible by our team.

Our guide- Joseph was incredible, knowledgeable and super friendly. He kept the vibes high, especially during summit night when we all started to struggle. You can see the love for his job shine through. His care for his team was equally as evident and made for such a positive experience.

Our assistant guide- Mune- was absolutely lovely. He was equally as caring and attentive to our needs. He was also so friendly and approachable. He made everyone feel at ease and he will make a great lead guide one day!

Our chef- Abu- cooked us delicious meals daily. When one of us was feeling nauseous from the altitude, it was no hassle for him to whip up something a bit easier on the stomach for us. He always had a smile on his face and was a delight to be around.

And finally our porters- definitely could not have don't the hike without them. The job they do is absolutely incredible. Such a physical role, carrying everything required and ensuring our tents were set up before we arrived and everything was in order. They are incredible and we're all so lovely.

All on all, his was such a great experience and I will definitely recommend the crew we had to anyone I know wanting to come to Kilimanjaro.

Thankyou for everything.

Incredible experience, flexible scheduling, & responsive
5/5

We did the 8-day Lemosho route + 4 day safari with Almighty Kilimanjaro. Everything was perfect!

Responsiveness + service:
They met us at the airport, took care of any kind of driving need (including little things like going to the market for a toothbrush or driving us to/from dinner in Moshi). We were given a briefing before Kilimanjaro and another before the safari which really helped answer any remaining questions we had. We had a day off in between & decided we wanted to go to the hotsprings - the company was able to book us a driver to do this the day before & took care of us the entire way. We also did a coffee plantation tour the morning of our ride to the airport and they took care of our luggage, managing our time, getting us there, taking us to lunch, and then driving us to the airport. Anything we needed, they were there to provide, always responding on whatsapp within a few minutes.

Safari:
Our safari guide was Emmanuel and we cannot say enough good things about him!! He's a good driver, knows everything about the animals, trees, plans, landscapes, etc. He will even answer all the hypothetical questions of one animal against another you can think of for you :D. He is always in contact with seemingly everyone in the entire park and knows exactly where to go to maximize our number of animals. We saw the big 5 which included countless lions (right up against our door! :O). The hotels were great especially in Serengeti and Ngorongoro - we saw zebras and giraffes right outside our balconies! Emmanuel would also sit with us at dinner when he stayed at the same hotel as us and learning about his life, views, & country really made the trip unforgettable.

Kilimanjaro:
Our lead guide was Ombeni and he and his entire team of guides & porters were great! He happily answered all our questions, reassured us about conditions on the mountain, checked in on us, and helped us any time we needed it. He also gave us story time during our shorter acclimitization hikes in the evening which was a great time to hear about his views and learn more about Kilimanjaro. There was lots of singing and dancing and this really encouraged us up the mountain and was great on the way down too :).

A few things I think might have made it even better: the guides spending more time with the clients - sitting with us at dinner or drinking tea, some icebreakers so we can get to know each other (I would have expected after 8 days that they knew our names and we knew theirs), the food was great, but after 8 days it was a bit repetitive :), and the final day restaurant we went to - it would have been great to get restaurant food instead of more mountain food (even if we had to pay for it, we really wanted something different at this point).

Experienced, knowledgable and friendly.
5/5

Prior to our hike up Kilimanjaro we went on safari for 2 days also organised by Almighty Kilimanjaro. We visited the Tarangire national park and the Ngorongoro crater.

Mohammed was our guide and we could not be more thankful for the amazing experience he gave us. Not only was he friendly and knowledgable about the animals and environment in the national parks we visited but he also gave us so much information about the regions we traveled through to get to the parks including the local culture and tribes we passed.
We were so lucky in our animal encounters with so many close up experiences with elephants, giraffes, zebras and a female lion walking along the road with us.
As we visited in June, just after wet season, the grass was long and some of the animals were slightly more difficult to spot but Mohammed remained in radio contact with other tour guides and if any animal sighting was reported ensured we got a front seat view. This allowed us to have a fantastic view of male lions and hippos.

The accommodation overnight was private and comfortable with an acrobatic and musical performance after dinner.

We were accompanied by a private chef named Abu who always had a smile and made us delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also provided snacks so we never felt without.

Would highly recommend.

Best adventure and experience I've had
5/5

Incredible adventure, the hike is difficult but rewarding however the guide Amiri and his porters and chef really made the experience. They went above and beyond to assist me with my ascent, I would get 3-4 course meals, fresh water, bowls of water for washing and tea or coffee for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Also the hotel which you stay at before and after the hike is of very high quality probably one of the best in the area.

We were so lucky to see a wide variety of animals including leopards, lions, cheetahs, elephants and giraffes. The lodge we stayed at was superb. The accommodations were very well maintained and very clean. It was great!

Almighty!
5/5

Had an amazing experience trekking Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route with Almighty! I was traveling by myself and was paired with another traveler for the duration. During my whole visit in Tanzania Almighty took care of everything and were helpful with all questions.

The guides Muni and Joseph were super knowledgeable and helped us enjoy the trip safely! Joseph also had a great sense of how to time our climb on summit day so we reached the peak at sunrise!

Big thank yous to the chef Abu and waiter God Bless and the porter who made our trip possible!
