A choice you need to make for unforgettable kilimanjaro
Had hard time deciding which company to choose to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, finally opted for Almighty Kilimanjaro for our 8-day/7night Kilimanjaro hike up the Lemosho route. Price was acceptable - midrange- and e-mail communication with Rasheedy(owner) clear and professional. After actual arrival to Tanzania, everything they promised they delivered, from pick up at the airport, through accommodation, to the actual climb. Each team of people was very friendly, very nice, very reliable, very professional and VERY experienced.
I cannot say enough good things about our Kili guides Joseph, Petro, Tomas and Daniel they were brilliant. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were incredibly caring about our wellbeing and very quick to jump in and help with any problems that we had. They also never complained about the number of toilet stops a group of 8 women needed....especially when some of us were on diamox! The entire team was incredibly well organized and we couldn't have hoped for a better group of people to help us make it up the mountain. Our cooks were great and fed us incredible food the entire way - doing a fantastic job of dealing with a number of food allergies along the way. Our servers could not have been better and we will all be forever grateful for the daily bed tea and warm washing water. Our water boy Swalehe did a fantastic job keeping us all hydrated and we all loved seeing his incredible smile every meal time.
With the majority of our group being Russian, we spent a lot of time talking to our fellow trekkers. In doing this we managed to talk to other trekkers about their teams and we quickly learnt that the Almighty Kilimanjaro was far better than many of the other companies. The fact that a mess tent was set up for virtually every meal and a hot meal provided was a real bonus - especially as we watched our fellow travelers eat cold toasted sandwiches perched on a rock in icy conditions. The fact that the guides kept our group together, walking at a slow but consistent pace with one guide at the front and another at the rear also helped us achieve our goal....whilst we watched other groups walk along with no guides in sight (these same groups unsurprisingly failed to summit). On a daily basis our porters would come and greet us, take our day packs from us and lead us to our tents....these simple things meant a lot to the tired and sore trekkers. To summarize, Almighty Kilimanjaro had exceeded our expectations in every respect.
Absolutely, loved our holiday...thanks again Almighty Kilimanjaro.

An unforgettable feat with an amazing team
Almighty Kilimanjaro took very good care of us from the airport pickup to the top of Kilimanjaro and back. We did the 7-day machame climb. Our guides Patric and Tom were fun and professional. They went over and above to always made sure that we were comfortable and kept a steady pace during the trek. Our waiter Swalehe was attentive and accommodated our every request.
The tents were of good quality and we had a small seating area with a table inside filled with condiments. We thought we'd be sleeping on a thin camping mat so were surprised to be sleeping on a clean and comfortable mattress every night.
The food was great and plentiful we could never finish it. Expect lots of porridge, french toast and omelette for breakfast, local stews, spaghetti bolognese, and chicken, fries and salads. Our chef Dastan would always check in every night to see how we were feeling and alter the menu slightly to suit our stomachs. If you have any dietary requirements be specific about them from the start. Don't be surprised by the number of porters... for 2 pax you'll typically get; 2 guides, a waiter, a chef and around 7 porters.
The hotel before and after the trek was comfortable and has a great restaurant and pool area with a supermarket to buy snacks a 2 minute walk away.
All in all doing the trek with Almighty Kilimanjaro was a great experience and we would highly recommend this company to get you to the roof of Africa.

Incredible experience with a very friendly and a well equipped company
We flew-in on Arusha, without much planning ahead, like always, we trust things will be fine once you meet the right local people. In our case Saidy. And it was indeed sorted within 30 minutes, right at the hotel. We could jump in a Landcruiser the following morning! We were lucky, we had a private safari (not in a group) which can be fun too, but with just a driver and cook and the 2 of us, you're just more flexible. We were accompanied by a Stanley (driver and guide) a great friendly giant, funny and knowledgeable about all animals around us, always happy to make that extra mile for a better shot. But he was also a mechanic - which gave us a comfortable feeling when we had to change a tire. And a cook (Vale) who cooked us 3 meals a day, early morning, late at night, always fresh and tasty! First to Tarangire, right at the start we already met a group of elephants, giraffes, monkeys, gnoes and other wildlife. Slept on a beautiful spot (!) on top of a valley, the sunrize was epic. Next day a long drive all the way up north-west to Serengeti where literally stumbled over all wildlife you can image. For 2 days we sept in a simple - but perfect tent at a (primitive) campsite. All you need is there, but you are in the bush, so no fancy stuff. Early bed, lost of animals and unfamiliar sounds around you, loved it. Early days, breakfast and started the game drives at 7:30/8. After the 2 day game drive with the (open rooftop land cruiser) back south to Ngorongoro crater, where we also spend a night. We've seen all wildlife we hoped to see, some very close (lions and cheetah next to the care) hippos in a pool and even rhinos from a distance. Special thanks to Stanley and Vale who made the trip a life time experience! Thanks Saidy for arranging everything, end to end to our satisfaction!

Amazing Experience with Almighty Kilimanjaro
I had contacted several other tour operators who either didn't reply or couldn't offer what I wanted, and so luckily the manager of my hotel recommended Almighty Kilimanjaro at the last minute.
When I met my guide I knew it would be a great 6 days.
I had not thought about having a private tour before, mostly as I assumed it would be too expensive for a solo traveller, but it turned out to be similarly priced and the best choice I could have made.
I spent 3 nights at the Octagon Lodge in Karatu, and 2 nights at Green Hills in Serengeti, travelling to Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
The accommodations weren't luxurious, but had good food and lovely staff and were fitting for a Safari adventure. The lunch boxes each day had enough food to keep me satisfied and Frank helped me to locate my favourite drink to accompany it.
Even though I chose a pretty standard itinerary which we stuck to, Frank made it feel like a special tour created just for me.
We saw all the birds, animals and locations I'd wanted to see and Frank remembered the things I liked and took me to them or pointed them out for me.
Frank knowledge, interest and caring made a great tour fantastic and I am going to go back for a different one next month.

Amazing!! The best tour operator with the best guide for climbing kilimanjaro!
The communication with all the workers (guide, chief, porters...) is the best. All of them know a perfect english and they take care of you all the time. The service is like a hotel but in the mountain, simply perfect!! They helped us all the time making the lunch, the campaments and so on. The best thing is the guide, with him you have the highest chance to achieve the top of the mountain. The last thing, it’s not expensive in comparison with other companies. It well worth it!! I recommend it 100%!!

Phenomenal Experience
My family and I (6 people ranging from 52yr-14yr) all recently climbed, and summited, the Uhuru peak with our incredible Almighty Kilimanjaro team following the Machame trail. This was our first adventure of this sort, with little altitude or trekking experience however with the help of the Almighty Kilimanjaro team we all thoroughly enjoyed the hike.
I seldom write reviews however I felt that this company is truly worth the recommendation. This company, based and operating out of Moshi, truly encompass everything that we were looking for. As part of the KPAP group, they insured that all porters are fairly paid and do not carry excessive loads. Furthermore, as most of their porters and guides were from Moshi or the surrounding areas, each and every one cared immensely about their home country.
Without the help of our guides/co-guides Nick, Innocent and Godfrey I guarantee that the trip would not have been the same. From maintaining moral during our 2am night or helping to carry our bags when we struggled, they were incredible from start to finish. A special shoutout to Innocent who help me on the summit night and ensured I made it to the top!
Each and every night was different, from amazing food cooked by the legend Stephen to the group dances with the porters, if you embrace each opportunity with open arms, it will be an experience you will never forget.
After climbing Kilimanjaro we also went on a 6-day safari. This was an equally-incredible, yet a different experience entirely. We were fortunate (huge credit to our guide Johnson for creating that fortune though!) enough to see some spectacular animals such as leopards, giraffes, elephants, cheetah and even hunting lions. Again the experience would have been completely different if I had not had such an experienced, knowledgable and kind guide.
Thanks to everyone at Almighty kilimanjaro for making the experience both enjoyable and one to remember for a lifetime.
TEAM CHAMPION!
Spectacular tour through 3 of Tanzania’s amazing national parks with a knowledgeable guide.
From start to finish was an amazing adventure made all the better by guide Francis who was knowledgeable and friendly and immediately on meeting put everyone at ease. He was endlessly patient when asked to stop all the time for photos and enquired all the time we were happy and enjoying our tour. It was my first trip to Africa and first Safari but very pleased I had booked the tour it was everything and more that I was hoping to see and Francis was an amazing guide.
