Very flexible for changing arrangments.
4/5

As I got off Kilimanjaro climb earlier than planned due to illness, my thanks to Almighty Kilimanjaro for bringing my 2 day Safari forward a day and reshuffling arrangements. Thanks to strong cocktail of prescription drugs i was on after being discharged from hospital I found the energy to continue with my booked Safari. I had a great time going to Tarangire National Park on day one and Ngorongoro Conservation Area on day 2. The Safari drivers were all great but a special mention to Frank a Safari driver as he was brilliant on the last day of Safari. He drove like crazy so I could make a flight to Zanzibar. Also Nico my Safari driver in Ngorogoro Crater, was great in organising for Frank to bring me to Arusha. Also my thanks to Abdul of Almighty Kilimanjaro was great in picking me up in Arusha and getting me to Kilimanjaro airport. Lesson learned do not have a flight on the evening of a Safari. it puts too much pressure on everyone, me included. Air Tanzania brought my flight forward by an hour at very last minute notice. The effort by everyone to get me on that flight was outstanding. Both Safaris are well worth it but the Crater is something special. it was like a movie scene. it is a special place dropping through the early morning mist to the crater floor, emerging into a paradise of natural beauty. Be sure to get contact details for Rasheed in Almighty Kilimanjaro as it saves the Safari drivers a lot of hassle trying to figure logistics out, especially if you are on tight timelines like i was. I got lots of pictures and videos which I treasure but they fail miserably to capture the beauty of the place and the wild animals.

Highly highly highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro!! (Especially guides Frank, Sole, and Muntari)
5/5

Cannot say enough good things about Almighty Kilimanjaro!! I went in Jan of 24 with my sister and some friends and our expectations were blown out of the water! Our guides Frankie, Sole, and Muntari were SO amazing! I would highly highly recommend them as guides to anyone that I know is hiking Kilimanjaro. They were funny, nice, supportive, answered all our questions and made sure that everyone was feeling well mentally, emotionally, physically, and medically! They were so inclusive and helped us gain moral when we were down at points. Even on summit night all the porters carried our bags and sang to us allll the way up. It was incredible, I bet they sang for 3 hours straight. It helped so much to help keep our mind off of what we were doing! Even one of the porters was putting my hands into his jacket to keep them warm while we were hiking! He routinely came over to make sure that my hands were warm enough and that I was doing okay. These people are truly amazing and I don’t think we could’ve made it to the top without them!
I’m so glad we took the 8 day lemosho route as well. Hiking kili was my first real hiking experience (bad idea I know) but the 8 day route gave us enough time to acclimate and shorter days of hiking in order to keep spirits up! Everyone in our group did experience some pretty severe altitude sickness in spite of this but all the guides were so helpful on giving us advice on what medicines to take/ what to do in order to make us feel better. They let us sleep in when needed, we took breaks when needed, and they would tell us stories to keep us occupied during the difficult hikes. They seriously were so amazing!!
One more piece of advice, please please please rent a private toilet. These were a legit LIFESAVER on our trip. Especially since some of the main symptoms of altitude sickness is GI problems and vomitting. I seriously don’t even want to imagine what that hike would’ve been like without the private toilets- best $50 I’ve ever spent!!

5/5

Almighty kilimanjaro made our trek absolutely amazing!.The guides (Muntari, Sole, Frank) and other staff (including babusha) were extremely knowledgeable about the mountain, motivating and kept us safe. Really felt taken care of and they all made extra effort to make us feel comfortable on an otherwise tough hike. If someone was considering hiking Kilimanjaro I would without a doubt use this company!

The best guides, focused on Safety, Success and Fun!
5/5

Our group of 6 recently had the privilege of embarking on an unforgettable 8-day hike to the summit of Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route with Almighty Kilimanjaro, and the entire experience exceeded our wildest expectations. From the breathtaking landscapes to the impeccable service provided by the extraordinary team, every moment of this journey was nothing short of magical.

Our adventure began with a warm welcome from the Almighty Kilimanjaro team, and it didn't take long to realize that this was not just a trekking expedition; it was a holistic experience crafted with passion, expertise, and a deep commitment to client satisfaction.

The Lemosho Route itself is a testament to the diverse beauty of Kilimanjaro, offering a kaleidoscope of ecosystems, from lush rainforests to alpine deserts. The meticulously planned itinerary allowed for gradual acclimatization, ensuring that our group of adventurers had the best chance at reaching the summit successfully.

The heartbeat of our journey was undoubtedly the incredible team of guides and staff who made every step of the way an absolute joy. Muntari, Swalehe, and Frankie were not just guides but true companions and family on our trek. Their knowledge of the mountain, infectious enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment to our safety and success were instrumental in making this climb an enriching experience. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST and they truly made the trip!!!!!!!! We couldn't have done it without them, and cannot recommend them enough.

Our waiter, Bubusha, deserves special mention for his warm hospitality and tireless efforts to make our experience at the camp delightful. He was always available, day or night, with anything that we needed. The meals prepared by Chef Sheban were nothing short of gourmet delights, proving that you can enjoy fine dining even at 15,000 feet. He was also able to pivot meals per our groups dietary requests.

The unsung heroes of our expedition were undoubtedly the porters, whose dedication and hard work ensured that our journey was as comfortable as it was adventurous. Their resilience in navigating challenging terrains while carrying our gear and setting up camp each day left us in awe. Almighty Kilimanjaro's commitment to fair treatment and working conditions for porters was evident throughout the journey.

As the sun rose on summit day, the sense of accomplishment and camaraderie among our group was overwhelming. Standing on the roof of Africa was a moment of triumph made possible by the dedication and expertise of the Almighty Kilimanjaro team.

Overall, the 8-day hike on the Lemosho Route with Almighty Kilimanjaro was an awe-inspiring journey that surpassed all expectations. The combination of stunning landscapes, expert guides, and a top-notch support team made this expedition a truly remarkable experience.

Exceptional
5/5

A trip of a lifetime which was only achieved with the help and support of the guides and crew from Almighty Kilimanjaro. The attention to detail was second to none. Every evening they explained what to expect from the following day. Our 8 day trip was done in 7 which we did not expect. Spending an extra night in a hotel at their expense. Tanzania and the people are beyond humble and friendly.
Having never camped before, my expectations were low. I could not have been more surprised to sleep so well.
I have a dread of heights, so my fear of doing the Barranco wall were heightened after seeing pictures and videos on social media. Again they alleviated my worries and successfully scrambled up there. This was one of the best days of the trip, along with reaching the summit. I cannot recommend Alright Kilimanjaro enough. You will be in professional, capable and caring hands.

Absolute best of the best!
5/5

I last minute signed up solo to do Kili over new years with Almighty Kilimanjaro & was totally nervous beforehand but couldn’t have had a more incredible time. Everything from start to finish was just perfect, Joseph & Muneer and the whole gang up with us were the true heroes and took such good care of us. Everyday was so much fun and everyone really went above and beyond to make this the best experience of my life. Not quite sure how Abu managed to make some of the best food I’ve had up on Kili but the whole team are just so special & couldn’t recommend taking the plunge and going with this group more. Thank you for everything - it was the best experience of my life!

A Reliable and Caring Team: Helping me Fulfill My Dream to Summit Uhuru Peak, 8 day Lemosho Route
5/5

My husband and I embarked on a rewarding journey to summit Kilimanjaro with the invaluable support of the Almighty Kilimanjaro team from December 23-31, 2023. Opting for the 8-day Lemosho Route fulfilled a goal I set in 2018. Our guides, Montari and Frankie, exhibited exceptional professionalism and care throughout the trek, especially during the challenging BARRANCO Wall ascent. Montari skillfully led us step by step, while Frankie ensured our safety at every turn.

In moments of difficulty, such as when I faced stomach issues, Chef Shanbani went above and beyond by learning to prepare traditional porridge from my hometown, ensuring I received the necessary nutrition at high elevations. The crew's unwavering support was instrumental in our successful journey to the Uhuru Peak. My gratitude to Montari, Frankie, Shanbani, and the entire team for their dedication and efforts. We are immensely thankful for an unforgettable experience.

Excellent guides and team to give you a professional, supported and nice trekking experience
5/5

We had a fantastic experience, climbing Kilimanjaro in 7 days via the Machame route guided and supported by Bennie, James and the rest of the team from Almighty Kilimanjaro. Both the guides are very professional and knowledgeable and support you all the way. We booked a group tour, but due to a cancellation ended up as a private group. This meant a very personal experience from the team. Our tent had a small seating area where we had breakfast and dinner. We opted for a private toilet (tent) - advice - please do!!! The food (prepared by Goodluck our cook) was very good, certainly considering the challenges to serve up a meal at these altitudes. Lema our ‘waiter’ took very well care of us. And then there were the porters. Unbelievable what these guys carry and at what speed. The climb is basically 5 days of going up and acclimatising before the big night. Starting at midnight the big climb to the top. Very, very tough but we made it with the continuous support from Bennie and James. At 6 am we arrived at Stella point to then climb further to Uhuru peak. Then it’s down in 2 days to the finish. We can truly recommend Almightly Kilimanjaro and specially Bennie and his team. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Bennie, James, Goodluck, Lema and the rest of the team for this amazing experience of a life time

Excellent
5/5

My experience hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro with Almighty Kilimandjaro was awesome. I hiked over Christmas and was a solo female Hiker. But I always felt save. My Team (Guide, Cook, and Porters) were awesome and we had so much fun together. Because I was the only Hiker, I could hike my own Pace which helped me a lot and my Guide always made sure that I can walk my own speed.
