Reliable, great communication andan overall excellent experience.
We had an excellent experience with Almighty Kilimanjaro. We did the Machame route and summited Kilimanjaro. We also did the day excursions to the waterfall/coffee plantation and the beautiful spring. In addition, we did the 3-day safari. We enjoyed the various guides and the porters. I highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro since they are local, have years of experience and are reliable. I appreciated the quick response to any questions we had before and during the trip. They were helpful in guiding us through the Covid testing travel requirements

Amazing trip
Hi I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Almighty Kilimanjaro for making my recent trip to Mt Kilimanjaro a very memorable one. Myself and 21 others from the France, We were lucky to have a team of 55 accompany us up Kilimanjaro. The care and attention of all the staff was outstanding. A special mention to Patric who was the leader and co-ordinated the whole group and to Godfrey who was a wealth of knowledge and enriched my mountain experience by labelling flowers, plants, birds, trees etc. The team was both professional and very experienced. I would highly recommend this company.

Wonderful trek up to uhuru peak with Almighty Kilimanjaro
We just come from our 6 Days Kilimanjaro trek with Almighty Kilimanjaro. It was really a wonderful trekking experience from start to finish. Kili had been on my bucket list for years, and am really happy we finally did it. Shout out to Sadick and his team of the Best Guides, cook and porters for making our trip memorable. I highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro for kili treking.

Fantastic experience with a top notch operator
Wow! This was a trip of a lifetime and one that I will never forget. From the beginning of the hike with the song and dance to send us off, to the one to one attention provided to ensure that each participant was successful in their hike - I could not have asked for anything more. Personally, I struggled with the altitude and needed to take my time. My guide Mike, carried my backpack from day three on and he was there every step of the way with words of encouragement, information about the environment we were hiking in and checking on me for safety purposes. I am happy to say I made it to the summit! I was blown away by how quickly the staff worked. We would leave our tents to begin our hike and by the time we got to our new camp site everything was ready for us - tents, food, etc. We had tea everyday halfway through our hike! Simply amazing

Remarkable experience with a fantastic team
The experience of going up to the top of Africa is unbelievable! 7 days walking up and down, getting prepared for summit day. William the guide was absolutely fantastic, making us feel safe since day 0. Tuma the pacemaker, Shabani the cook and the whole team were incredibly nice and professional, without them we wouldn't have made it.
I am so grateful to the team and would like to recommend them to anyone that wants to do the route, in nice company, great team and fantastic professionals

Pick Ignus: The most amazing safari guide!
We booked a 9-day safari through Almighty Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Our group could not believe our luck. Ignus from Almighty Kilimanjaro exceeded our expectations every single day. He'd ask what we hoped to see that day and then made every effort to make our dreams come true— which he ended up doing every single day. And every single time he made our dream come true, it seemed like we had the best seat in the house. Ignus maneuvered the vehicle to right in front of the animal action. Other tour groups must have been jealous because our position allowed us to take some of the best animal shots I could have ever even imagined. Everything about Ignus exceeded our expectations.
This young man is so knowledgeable. He was patient. We were 2 couple in our 60s and 70s. We must have asked the same questions over and over (there was just so much to remember!), but Ignus always answered our inquiries like it was the first time we'd asked (and not the hundredth time!) We teasingly told him that he'd probably hoped for four hotties in his tour, but instead he got four naughties.
If you have a chance to go with Almighty Kilimanjaro, ask for Ignus. You will not be disappointed. He has the BEST sense of humor and if he can put up with 4 crazy old man and women, he can certainly handle any other group with ease. Thank you Ignus for making this the most memorable trip I've had in a very long time. We won't ever forget you and your patience and kindness. You are the BEST!
Climbing mount meru with affordable rates
We had an amazing, trip of a lifetime through Almighty Kilimanjaro! We did both the Mount Meru and the safari and both were outstanding!!! It was very important for us to book our trip through a locally owned tour company, nevertheless, we were a bit nervous. After speaking with Rasheedy I was reassured we would be in good hands, but once we got there I realized we were in excellent hands.
We hiked on 4 day and reached the top due to our outstanding guides, Godfrey and Jackson, who were 100% dedicated at all times to making sure we would succeed and were committed above and beyond to our safety. Thanks to Dasii, the stomach engineer, we were very well fed and fueled at all times, and I very very much appreciate the extra mile they went especially to make sure I had plenty to eat (I'm a vegan). The porters gave us top-notch service, made us feel at home at each stop along the way and went the extra mile to lift out spirits. Shout outs to Swalehe, our server, who always put
a smile on my face, and to Masai who saved me going down the mountain. We had the BEST crew!!! The attentive, personal support and the warm dedication was really what made the trek and our summit so memorable.
Our safari was outstanding as well - Johnson, our guide, is the man! We saw the Big Five - rhinos, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and buffalo, all on our first 2 hours at Serengeti. He was always making sure we got the photos we needed, finding for us the local banana beer we discovered 8-), knowing exactly where to spot the big cats and the other animals, and overall had a great playlist of Swahili rap/reggae during the jeep rides. Each park has its unique view and wildlife, and Johnson made sure we made the most out of each day. For accommodations, Damson hooked us up with really luxurious spots to sleep at where we immensely enjoyed our nights.
Overall, we are super super glad we booked through Almighty Kilimanjaro and recommend our trip to all our friends and family. We couldn't have asked a better experience! If I could give 10 stars here, I would!

Perfect outfitter for Kili climbing
One of the main reasons I booked with Almighty Kilimanjaro was the ability to join a group on different dates for the different routes on Kilimanjaro. This helped keep the costs down and made everything easier on my end. In joining a group, I've met some of the most like-minded individuals in my group and have formed a special bond with them. Booking a Kilimanjaro trek and a safari with Almighty Kilimanjaro was one of the easiest experiences I have encountered. The friendly staff replied promptly to my emails and were patient with all my questions. When meeting the sales managers and planners at the Almighty Kilimanjaro , they were very helpful with gear rentals, recommendations, and provided details about the upcoming trekking plans. The mountain guides, cooks and porters on Kilimanjaro are the real heroes as they ensured everyone was safe, comfortable, and reached the summit. Our safari driver (Judy) is a very friendly, caring and knowledgeable person. SHe kept us entertained with information and stories during our long drives. We had an unforgettable vacation in Tanzania and Almighty Kilimanjaro was key in making this happen. I plan to return to Tanzania and will have Almighty Kilimanjaro in mind.

Incredible experience!
I have wanted to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro since I first saw in many years ago while leading my first safari to East Africa in the late 90’s (I am a zoologist). When I was thinking of what to do for my 60th birthday (October 2021) I thought…now is the time! I looked for tours that would summit on my birthday and found there were none listed on the plethora of websites hawking trips up the mountain…during my research I found www.almightykilimanjaro.co.tz. They hooked me up and I was all set…
There is very little that would have made this experience any better. I am very pleased with my outcome…I made the summit!
My guide, Joe, hired by Almighty Kilimanjaro, was great. He is an amazing man, committed to the mountain and to making sure his clients get the most out of their experience on Kili…he saw to all of my needs…ate meals with me so I was not alone (I was the only “client” on this specific trek)…educated me about the mountain, its flora and fauna and about his tribe, the Chaga…we had many great conversations and shared many laughs along the way…he made sure I drank plenty of water and rested and re-fueled along the way…on the 7 days I only had a period of about 3 hours where I had a headache and some mild nausea…that went away quickly and I had no other “mountain sickness” symptoms during my climb. I credit this to his encouragement and my pre-trip preparations.
The rest of my team…entourage is a better description…5 porters…a cook and a guide…all for me…were great…
All in all this trip was amazing…the sights are incredible…and to reach the summit was a thrill…I will never forget this experience and would actually consider doing it again…
Almighty Kilimanjaro hired the right guide, porters and cook to see that my experience was great! Further, they were mostly responsive in a timely manner and provided me with good gear. I would recommend them if you are even remotely interested in challenging yourself to make the summit of this amazing mountain!
