11 Day Magical Kenya
We spent 11 days traveling to Kenya’s national parks. While planning our trip, Silas was great at communication. He responded to WhatsApp messages within a few minutes. Our driver and guide was Dickson. First day was in Samburu national park at the wonderful Samburu Sopa lodge. The place was beautiful. We saw a lioness stalking giraffes and a mama cheetah with 4 babies. Dickson was a great driver and had lots of patience. He was good at spotting animals even at a distance. We went to Lake Naivasha and Hells Gate. We went on a beautiful hike in Hells Gate and learned a lot about Masai culture from the local guide. Then on to Masai Mara. Masai Mara was unforgettable - saw so many animals. Saw one female leopard up close and then one male leopard stalking and hunting a topi. Dickson drove slowly and carefully and we were able to spot many animals. He also got tips from other drivers where the animals were. We also saw a male and female lion on honeymoon and mating. The vast expanse of plains was mind blowing. Next place was Lake Nakuru - many white rhinos and flamingos. Then Amboseli - saw families of elephants feeding and bathing. Next was Tsavo - maneaters lodge next to the river was amazing. There was an elephant walking through the lodge grounds and we heard him eating near our tent in the night. In Tsavo we watched families of elephants feeding and drinking water. Everything ran smoothly. The hotels and lodges were comfortable with delicious food, especially the Sopa lodges and Lake Nakuru Lodge. All was well organized. It was an amazing and unforgettable trip. Felt truly like we had come back home - there is an indescribable energy in the air. Kenya is working hard to preserve these wild places and really appreciate the people for taking care of the places. We are already planning to come back to Kenya with our two kids. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Unforgettable
Our experience with Apodiformes was amazing. Before going, Silas made everything easy by answering all our questions instantly, telling us all the things we need to know and bring there. Then the safari was great!! Our driver Dickson is a nice person and a great driver! We experienced some unbelievable and unforgettable moments in both Amboseli and Masai Mara thanks to him! :)

Amazing
Thanks to Silas for the excellent organization. We chose from many options, the one that Silas suggested was the best. He answered all our questions quickly before the safari. Everything was exactly as described in the program. Special thanks to our driver and guide James. He told a lot of interesting things about animals and their behavior, and also chose the best places for filming, predicting the behavior of the animals, was very professional and fulfilled all our requests.

Incredibly accomodating and organised!
Silas at Apodiformes Adventures organised a wonderful Safari & Beach Honeymoon for us. From the initial enquiry to the end of the trip, Silas was incredibly communicative, asnwering all of our questions within minutes. The itinerary was very flexible; Silas was very happy to change it a couple of times before we landed on something that worked within our budget. We visited 4 national parks - Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. We were lucky enough to see a huge number of elephants, as well as rhinos, lions and cheetahs amongst others. Our driver Tom was wonderful. His knowledge of the parks and the various animals was astonishing. He was always on time, got us where we needed to be safely and always had a smile on his face. We stayed at some lovely lodges which were all very clean and welcoming. After our safari we boarded a trial to Mombasa where we finished our trip at a lovely beach hotel. Everything was so well organised and the entire trip ran so smoothly. We highly recommend Apodiformes!

Beyond expectation!
Silas at Apodiformes Adventures helped to make our first safari trip to Africa an incredible one! Our 20 day safari included both Kenya and Uganda as well as a couple of day trips. Before our trip even began, Silas, the owner of the company was very responsive to our many questions. Silas even went out of his way to help us with some logistical things to ensure our trip ran smoothly. We definitely are very grateful and appreciative of his extra efforts.

Beautiful experiance with a great driver
We had a great Safari with Dickson. We saw a lot of wildlife and beautiful landscapes. We always felt very safe during Safari and long travels through the crowded streets. The communication worked well and the company was very reliable.
We stayed in Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. Next time we would probably add a night at Lake Nakuru as well to see some rhinos.
Every nationalpark was individuially beautiful, but we liked Masai Mara the most. The Sopa Lodges and the Kibo tented camp were amazing.

Excellent safari with wonderful guides
The safari exceeded our expectations. We added Tsavo East and Silas accommodated the request quite easily.
Our guides, Julius and Isaiah were great.
I could not believe the amount of animals we saw and on occasion how close we could get to them.
All the accommodations were unique, comfortable and wonderful. Each place had great staff.
If we do an East African trip again, we’d go with Apodiform and Silas again. Speaking of Silas, he would return our communications usually within minutes. Answered all our questions and was just great to work with.
It was an adventure of a lifetime.

Exceeded our expectations
Our experience with Apodiformes Adventures exceeded our expectations on every level. Our experienced guide/driver, John, was incredible, top notch! We enjoyed learning from him, joking around, and sharing stories. Asante, Asante John! We spent 3 nights in the Maasai Mara at the Loyk Mara Luxury Camp and 1 night at Ziwa Bush Lodge- would highly recommend both, they were amazing. We booked with Fredrick and from the very beginning, communication and customer service was clear and timely. The Apodiformes team was committed to making sure our trip was perfect. We are finished with the 4 day safari and have begun the second part of our trip- 3 nights at Diani Sea Resort. All arranged by Apidoformes Adventures. Our trip has been incredible and I would highly recommend using this company for a Kenyan safari. If you’re lucky, John will be your guide/driver!

Would highly recommend Apodiformes Adventures for your adventures. We booked a combo safari/beach trip with them for our first ever visit to Africa and Kenya. We'd highly recommend Apodiformes Adventures for your safari to Kenya! Our tour guide and driver, Loi, was dedicated to every detail of the experience for us. He ensured we had everything that we needed, communicated really well about the details of the day, changes in plans, what we were doing, where we were going, details as they emerged, plans for the next day, etc. During game drives, he was constantly monitoring the radio and making absolutely sure that we could see all the big 5 and other animals during our entire trip. He always positioned the vehicle in the best spots and made sure that we could get good angles for photos and viewing. Loi was awesome and we'd highly recommend him for your safari. At the end of the trip, we stayed in Diani Beach at the Pinewood Resort and have to say that this was one of the best resort experiences we've had in our lives. It was half-board and had really well-made food, attentive staff, was clean, had animals on the property (monkeys, tortoises, weaver birds, crabs walking around, bush babies, etc.) it was such a beautiful end to the trip and we'll treasure all of our memories from this safari.
