Custom Tailored Safari Trip
We are a family with an infant and we were hesitating to travel to Kenya for a Safari Trip, especially during the pandemic.
However, since the first contact with Silas he was very helpful and always adapted my requests and changed the trip accordingly. He was so patient with all our questions so we decided to book for the trip. Since we booked our flight from Emirates from Dubai to Nairobi, he picked us up from the airport and drove us to the Hotel in Nairobi. Since we had still a half day, he drove us after a short break to the Giraffe Center. Second day onwards we were picked up by our driver Jackton from our Hotel and drove to Masai Mara, wehre we spent our following 3 days and nights. Jackton is a great guide, driver and now he became a good friend of mine as well. Usually I do not like to write long reviews, however with Apodiformes Adventures we enjoyed our Kenya trip so much, that we want to come back asap. Great value for money and amazing people (Silas and Jackton). Especially for people with infant, they plan the trip according to your expectations. Also for people from Dubai I guess it is one of the best options for a Safari trip out there. Asante Apodiformes Adventures for a great memory!!

Best vacation ever
Great safari company, we had the best safari in kenya. They work with you to make sure that you have a perfect vacation for the best costs. They don't drive up the price for things that doesn't fit you. They look into your wishes and give a honest advice all costs included, no surprises at arrival. Always available on WhatsApp for questions, problems, advice, tips etc and with covid they give you the chance to change dates for free if you have to. After the down-payment and some date changes due to covid we we're finally able to go to Kenya for our 8 day masai Mara-lake nakuru & navaischa-amboseli adventure. We had the best trip ever, while this vacation is not easy to plan because I'm a wheelchair user. After a late flight we were picked up by Silas for the payment and to be brought to our hotel, next morning we met our guide isaiah after breakfast. The safari van is basically a large remodled van with a roof that is opened inside parks so you can stand up straight for great sightseeing without being unprotected to the sun and bush. Large comfy chairs on the side with lots of space, large windows that can be opened entirely and all very clean. The get in is lower than with jeeps(they also have) so my husband could help me transfer while the wheelchair got up the front seet so we had free sight. Finally on the way we drove through the awesome rift Valley with a nice stop at the lookout point and for lunch before the safari could finally begin. Isiah is not only a great guide, but also a very skilled driver. Roads that looked impossible for us where no problem for him and the van. Not only a real adventure but also the best opportunity to spot animals wich we did plenty. Unfortunately no crossing but the parks didn't disappoint us for a moment we even saw the cheetah brothers. Unlimited game drives, high efforts from your guide to find the animals and awesome memories are included in your price. All respecting nature!
The drives between parks is sometimes long but the surrounding is so beautiful that you won't mind, also they plan stops to break the road. Every stop had a wheelchair accessible toilet, a restaurant and good priced souvenir shop to do some shopping if you like. When we had a accessibility problem with one of the hotels Isaiah immediately helped and called other hotels late evening to make sure we could change first thing in the morning. A true worrie free vacation without extra unknown costs. This is a must do experience we can't wait to go back one day and highly recommend this company!
And for the disabled people who doubt because of their handicap don't. We had the best time they will help you, understand the issues and make sure you have a great time

PERFECT
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Silas to plan my Kenyan safari. I started planning my trip with Silas in May 2020 and after several delays due to COVID was finally able to make the trip in May/June 2021. Boy was it truly the trip of a lifetime! Initially Silas presented me with several trip options and then he helped tailor the trip to be exactly what my friend and I wanted to do. He asked a ton of questions and was very patient with all of the questions I had (I had A LOT of them). Because of the time difference I was sometimes sending Silas messages in the middle of the night and he was always prompt to respond. Planning a trip during COVID was tough, but Silas made it as easy as possible. Because of closures in Kenya, our hotels needed to be moved around a bit. Silas was very open and honest with us about this and gave us a few options that he knew would be reliable, calling around to make sure the hotels were comfortable that they would be able to host guests. Silas also kept me up to date with all of the goings on in Kenya- calming my nerves that the trip would need to be pushed out again (which thankfully it wasn't). If you are wanting to plan a trip to Africa, Silas is THE MAN! When we finally arrived in Kenya, Silas was there to pick us up from the Airport and bring us to our hotel even though our tour didn't start until the next day. Our 6 night/7 day tour was magical and perfect from start to finish. We did a private tour, which is a very flexible option. Accommodations and food were excellent and exactly what we expected. Our tour was a good mix of safaris and cultural experiences and we were able to take the most beautiful pictures! Our driver Maxwell was WONDERFUL. He had a great sense of humor, lots of knowledge, kept us safe, and was very flexible. He made sure we saw so many different animals at the parks, which made the trip very memorable! We spent a lot of time with Maxwell and he was so good to us! I recommend you ask for Maxwell if you're taking a trip with Apodiformes! I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful our trip to Kenya was. It was affordable, customized, and a truly beautiful experience. I highly recommend Apodiformes!

Apodiformes Adventures serious manager, prompt, opento our wishes, requests, correct with customers
Good evening,
I have to share with you our experience with the help of Apodiformes Adventures.
Silas, an extremely vigilant guy, responded in a very short time to my desire to find out information about a possible safari. And what can I say ... he never deceived my expectations. We agreed on a route from Nairobi, Lake Naivasha, boating, all around, hippos and lots of birds, Lake Nakuru, one night here at Homebase Garden with impeccable accommodation and meals, two nights in Masai Mara, an excellent balloon flight, lions, zebras, wildebeest antelope and a leopard that quietly eats its prey in the tree.
From Masai Mara we went to Serengeti, through Isibania, Silas, the manager of Apodiformes always kept in touch with us, making sure that everything is fine, we were tested at the border exactly as he told us, with quick tests, the procedure is quite long, but completed without problems. And we arrived in the great Serengeti, two magnificent nights in Kati Kati Tented Camp and two unforgettable days, in two extraordinary worlds, of people and animals. Each of the moments lived had their charm, the elephant that made its place at night next to our tent and which we struggled to film and show to those at home with whom we spoke through wi.fi.
I saw a real feast of a lion family, stealing hundreds of pictures of the owners of those lands. Curious and so graceful giraffes appeared everywhere and left very easily. Hippopotamuses reveled in the savannah ponds, Tik..Tik ... the smallest antelopes jump through the bushes, the jackals, the hyenas appeared sometimes on the road, sometimes on our left or right. Ngorongoro showed his grandeur the next day, the descent into the crater being an unforgettable experience. The ceiling of clouds and fog that had kept us from ... cold (Rhinolodge has a fireplace where we even sat by a beautiful wood fire) rose and revealed to us an extraordinarily beautiful world. Everywhere you looked you saw animals. The last days I caught them in Lake Manyara, where the elephants enjoyed themselves in a well-deserved bath with water ... mud and dust, and the icing on the cake was left to the two lions on the tree, one of them waiting for the pictures that to show him supremacy.
Yes, I invite you to go with Apodiformes Adventures, Silas, the manager, is best suited to find solutions for what you want.
Thank you Silas for the patience you have shown, answering absolutely any question I asked you!
And this is not all!!!!!
The guides I had are the best, if you are a sociable person they open up and offer you anything you want.
In Kenya, Isayah managed to gain our trust very quickly, very civilized, with a lot of common sense and dedicated to those he cared for.
Isayah was the one who showed us the hidden leopard, he ran for half a day after the elephants, keeping his promise, going with Toyota as if it were the best race car. I would have thought that he could climb those roads, in the Masai Mara, he is an extremely well-trained driver, a guide who has successfully fulfilled his mission of making people happy and finding exactly when I no longer believed the cheetah he we are looking for. He told us so simply that we had a bonus that afternoon and we saw the miracle.
I recommend asking Isayah, if you catch him free you will not regret it. Search and find any animal in the reservations.
Godlisten, our guide from Tanzania, an exceptional man, car-Toyota Landcruiser.
You will not be disappointed if you have a guide on Godlisten, he is a professional in everything he does. Including pictures.Godlisten, a real encyclopedia, extremely shy at first, with a lot of common sense and an extraordinary preparation. He did his safari homework with us. The man has books about birds, animals, binoculars, (I still miss the words of "Good spot !!!" )... nothing escapes him, an infinite patience to listen and answer our questions.
He also knew the accommodation, he knew the people there, he interacts perfectly with everyone. He doesn't sleep much. He is eager to tell you something tomorrow.
Count on him !!!
We thank those who accompanied us in our adventure and helped us fulfill our dream. Thank you Apodiformes Adventures, Silas, Isayah and Godlisten.

Takes care of you the whole way providing a stress free excellent adventure
My wife and I wanted to do a safari in both Kenya and Tanzania. Apodiformes had a great 12 day trip with a good price. Silas the tour operator was easy to communicate with and great at answering our questions. Silas also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport.
Silas also arranged for our covid test to return home. Our three drivers Martin, Moses, and Richard were great at providing information about the animals and the different wildlife parks. Our drivers communicated with us on our daily activities and responded to our requests when able. We highly recommend this tour and company and I hope you able to get the same drivers. Overall it was an amazing unforgettable experience.

Amazingly executed holiday
Right from the time we landed at JKIA, our tour planner, Silas escorted us to our hotel where we were delightedly served. On the way Silas gave us ample information about our tour.
Upon reaching Mara Keekrok airport, Isaiah our local tour guide and driver picked us up in the luxury van and took us straight to game drive, our first experience at Mara. What an experience it was as straight away right outside the airstrip, we got to the see the king and the queen, perfectly placed, mating….. for us, our trip was successful there and then itself.
All along the various game drives we did, we saw the other big 3, the mighty elephant, the ferocious Cape Buffalo and the lion himself.
Our tour at Mara ended with a visit to the Masai village where we learned about their survival techniques, toasted a glass of locally brewed alcoholic drink with the Masai.

Amazing memories!
Me and my partner did the 8-day tour in Rwanda and cannot recommend it more!! They were accommodating to all our requests and the value for money we got for the trip was incredible. Baptiste, our guide, was just incredible!! He always got out of his way and helped us with everything along the way. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Really highly recommend to everyone!
