Prompt communication and committed to the itinerary
A well organised tour for my family of 3 right from receiving us from the airport and dropping us back to the airport. Our 3 nights/4 days safari was indeed an experience and our guide cum driver was very clinical and safe in his driving. His knowledge of the animals, it’s behaviour, the grasslands added up as also is knowledge of the country and its history and culture.

Best safari and city tour
I would like to thank Silas and all at Apodiformes for making our Safari amazing. Silas was waiting at the airport for us when we arrived, took us to our hotel. Next day he took us to the giraffe and baby elephant sanctuary it was amazing, we got to feed the giraffes and touch the baby elephants. Silas then introduced us to James who was our driver/guide for our Safari. We visited Masi Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Silas also gave us the option to upgrade our accommodation which I’m happy we did, we got to sleep in a beautiful bed in a luxurious tent listening to the beautiful sounds of nature at Kibo Safari camp. Our driver James was very knowledgable about the animals we saw and amazing at spotting them. We spent our last night back in the hotel in Nairobi then Silas took us the airport the following day to catch our plane home.
We would like thank Silas very much for giving us an incredible holiday.

Wonderful safari holiday
The service Silas provides is second to none. Both he and our safari driver James took care of us with the highest professionalism and made our Nairobi city tour and safari (Masai Mara, lake Naivasha, lake Nakuru and Amboseli) a great experience we will never forget. Thanks a lot to both, we wish you all the best for the future and hope to use your services again soon.

Absolute perfect
We booked our tour at Apodiformes Adventures and everything was running perfect from first second in Nairobi Airport and until we got safe back to the airport. Silas from the office recommend Sopa Lodge and it was a very nice place = value for money. The must important for a good safari is the tour guide / driver and we was together in 10 days with Jackton and you cannot get a better tour guide than him. We really like him and he was bring us around all over in the parks and gave us “the big 5” + a cheetah hunt just in front of the car. He really loves his job. All in all our tour was the best holiday we ever had. I can only recommend Apodiformes Adventures. Best regards Niels Andersen, Denmark

Easy budget safari--saw everything in 5 days
Silas was very proactive in communicating to provide different safari options within budget to ensure we managed to get the best experience in our short time in Kenya. It was also a last minute trip for a conference in Nairobi and he managed to arrange a 5 day safari at very short notice.
Our safari was an amazing cost-effective solution--we did Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru and, across the three parks, were able to see all of the Big 5 (including a leopard cub) along with every other Kenyan animal you could hope for (cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest etc. etc.).
Our driver/guide Sammy was very pleasant and professional and went out of his way to accommodate the group and any requests.
Overall I would highly recommend Silas, Sammy and Apodiformes Adventures for your safari in Kenya.

Amazing 3-day safari tour
The 3-day safari tour we did with Apodiformes was amazing !
Unforgettable experience, we had the chance to see a lot of animals and to visit a Masai Mara Village.
They picked us up at the airport and took care of everything until the end, the organisation was perfect.
Highly recommended !!

We had fun! Great tour.
Kenya safari was at the top priority of my bucket lists. I went to Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli with my husband. Mt. Kilimanjaro was beautiful.
I will recommend Silas and driver Stanley.

They are the one who you need. Communication, hospitality was excellent!!
We went to the 6 days Kenya group tour (Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli).
Both the communication before the tour between SILAS and the safari experience led by our driver STANLEY was amazing.
If you are looking for a budget tour, they are the one who you should choose. Price is good, the safari experience is amazing and the staff are professional.
SILAS who seems to be the representative of the company responded our inquiries really quickly via WhatsApp. If you send him a message in a Nairobi working hours, you will most likely get a reply in a few minutes. His company is young, but he seems to have adequate experience in this industry. He picked up us at Nairobi Airport and sent us to our hotel on the first day. He sent us a driver the next morning, and the driver took us to a meeting point where we met our driver and our fellow travellers. SILAS was there too. We met him again on the last day of the visit when he took us to the airport.
STANLEY, who was our driver was a real professional. He woke up very early every day to inspect the safari environment, communicate with other guides and get information and to clean the van. It seemed that he was really wanting us to satisfy. He used radio as other guides and guides cooperate to find big animals, like lions and cheetas. We could see all of the BIG FIVES. We could also see two cheetahs eating an antelope which was really amazing. He was knowledgeable about the animals and explained to us how to distinguish them. He has good eyes and could find the animals from far where we could barely see even when we were told it was there.
Suggestion for the budget tour.
- Accommodations were okay. But don't expect a clean place like a hotel. It is a tent with a bed where you sleep and a hot shower is not that hot. Bugs may come in. It may black-out at midnight. I enjoyed it.
- On a budget tour, we will move by a van (e.g. Nissan URVAN). Sometimes more than 7 hours. Seats were okay but not comfortable like sedan cars. If you don't want to do this, you need to fly with a Cessna from Wilson Airport to the Park.
- Food was okay. But not what you expect in your country.
- Flying into the clean hotels/lodges near the Park may triple the price.
- You can't choose who you will be with on a group tour. We were really lucky to have great people with us. We talked over a beer every day after dinner.
- No place to wash your clothes. I washed my clothes on the first day but it didn't dry.
- I bought a Safaricom SIM card at the airport. We got an internet connection at the campsite with this SIM. No WiFi at the campsite.
- Don't forget to tip the driver.
Bring:
- Portable charger for the phone
- Fleece or a windbreaker. It is quite cold, especially in the rainy seasons.
- Flip flops. Something you can wear at the accommodations.
- If you want to take a close photo, lense no less than 200mm. Sometimes 300mm is not even enough.
- Shampoo and body shower. There is none in the accommodations.
- A compact hairdryer. It is quite cold in the evenings and you might want to dry your hair. You also might want to dry your shoes, especially in the rainy seasons.
- Tissues and wet wipes.
- Binoculars (at least 10*30)
- If you have enough space, I would bring an extra pair of shoes.
All in all, the safari experience provided by Apodiformes Adventure, SILAS and STANLEY was really amazing. I will recommend them to my friends.
