Silverback Expeditions created a fabulous itinerary for our Uganda adventure!
My friend and I had a wonderful time in Uganda! Our guide Luke is so kind, attentive and professional. He made sure we were always comfortable, had the time needed to capture photos when we wanted and bought us the best bananas you could ever eat!!! Visiting the gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was probably the highlight of our trip, but all of the other places we visited were beautiful & worth seeing as well. If I could do it all over again, would ask for Luke to guide us again.....would probably just add a day of rest here and there to the itinerary as sometimes wish we had more time at some of the beautiful lodges ...... Ishasha Wilderness Camp & Katara Lodge were two of these!

Memories for life
Being from Japan, visiting the mountain gorillas in Africa seemed like a distant impossible dream. And starting to plan it was overwhelming. Silverback expeditions made it all smooth for me. I inquired without no big expectations and they basically helped me craft an incredible week in Rwanda where I managed to do the gorilla trekking which was the best experience of my life and complement it with a great safari experience. Everything was perfectly organized, my requests were always taken into consideration and at the end, there's not much I could wish that could be improved. Its not a cheap experience but 100% worth it.

Great experience in Uganda with Silverback!
My wife and I have just returned from an amazing trip to Uganda with the Silverback team. Our trip started with some issues with the airline and we had to make an unplanned stopover in Rwanda (delaying the start of our tour). The Silverback team supported us with hotel reservations and recommendations in Rwanda and rearranged the tour so that we lost the least of our tour.
During the tour itself, we can say that the hotels, the food and the care and attention to detail we got from our guide (David K) were outstanding, always. We also had a great experience with the highlights of the tour (the chimpanzee and the gorilla trekkings, actually seeing many chimps and gorillas at close range and within a very organized and professional experience.
On the con side, I can only mention Uganda’s roads which, of course, are not Silverback’s fault! And my only complaint is only about their quality, because my wife and I felt safe and secure during our whole stay in Uganda.

Amazing planning support & Actual Experience
Our trip was incredible from start to finish! Everything was really well organized and smooth, thank you for this!
The Tour planner supported us during the planning, and made sure to include all the things we wanted in the itinerary
Also a special thanks to our tour guide, he was informative, kind and generous and that made all the difference for us.
The hotel in the park was nice, the staff were really helpful but the food could have been better and they had problems with their electricity.
The actual hike and gorilla experience was amazing, our guide made sure our request to be in the longest trek to the gorillas came true and we thoroughly enjoyed it! (Although a little unprepared with our shoes :))
We’ve already recommended Silverback and our guide to our friends and will continue to do it more! :)

Amazing experience.
We had a great experience in Uganda and Rwanda with Silverback expeditions. We totally recommended.
Everything was spectacular (Lodges, food, landscape, wildlife, companies support).
Our Driver is called David ! The best ever. We loved him. We were so happy to have him as our guide. He has been super kind, always trying to fulfill all our needs (Safari, Market, Money exchanged, City Tour, Food, etc).
The Trip wouldn't have been what it was if it hadn't been for him ! So with this we would like to highlight how happy we were to have him as our guide.

I was on tour with Silverback Expeditions for one week and I loved it. Everything was so perfect - a fantastic route, the nicest hotels, a great guide. Everything was so easy and well organized. I travelled during the COVID crisis and had to postpone the trip once, but there was no problem and the staff organized everything perfectly and was very flexible. On the road I could just enjoy my trip and never had to worry about a thing, they organized some specials for me (e.g. a visit in a hospital and a COVID test at the end). I saw so many beautiful things, met wonderful people, saw a lot of animals. Would love to do a trip with Silverback again! Highly recommendable! Thank you so much!

Murchison Falls
Visited Murchison Falls and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary during an amazing 3 days tour with Silverback Expeditions. Our guide Carmichael was just amazing: friendly, great eyesight, respectful of nature, great driver. We saw rhinos, shoebills and many other amazing animals and birds. Recommended 200% and will come back for sure.

Perfect 2 weeks Uganda trip from Jinja to Bwindi
Just coming back from this incredible trip! Everything was quite perfect from assistance at custom control at arrival, to having a great guide during the whole trip and great accommodations. Vincent ( you can see him in profile picture :) was a great travel mate, very reliable in any circumstance and full of tips and informations about any aspect of Uganda. From game drive in the parks to history and social facts he know everything of his country. Crossing the country driving in so different landscapes, villages and areas was one of best part, even sometimes could be tiring, but this is a great part of exploration. We visit the Nile source at Jinja, Murchison falls, QE park, Ishasha sector and Bwindi at the end before a quick stop at Lake Mburo before heading airport. All was perfectly arranged and was exactly as by schedule trip. The guide was always in contact with lodges and accommodation, and as he has more that 20 years of experience he knew literally every tourist guides, rangers at parks and lodges staff that we met. So we feel in any moment that all was under control and he was ready to every unexpected, knowing exactly the area in which we operate. I think that's the most important part about choosing a trip partner, lodges and park is just booking about what you prefer. We travelled in a perfectly fit Land Cruiser 4x4 customized for safari, and he was very safe driver. So have no doubt to book a trip with Let's go travel: Silverback Expedition, we were much that satisfy about any aspect of the trip. Last but not leat the help of Luis during the entire process of taylor made and booking ( we share almost 60 mails in 7 months ) , helping choosing lodges, tips about Visa and everything about the trip, he done a great job. At the end they provide also a Whatsapp contact for ground operation that respond in few minute. So what you want more? No more excuses to visit an incredible and unexpected beautiful country as Uganda.
