Amazing
I found Emanuel and his tour company through word of mouth, and I have to say—this was hands down the best tour experience I’ve ever had. I’ve done many tours in different countries, ranging in length and style, and nothing has compared to this one. Everything was incredibly well-organized and effortless on my end. They provided literally everything we needed, which made the whole experience stress-free. Emanuel was super responsive and helpful, answering all my questions both before and after the tour. We did the 4-day, 3-night camping tour and saw amazing wildlife, with knowledgeable guides who helped us understand and appreciate what we were seeing. I couldn’t recommend this company more!

This trip has exceeded all of my expectations, so glad we chose Crater Explorers.
My family booked a 5 day Safari with Crater Explorers. I met Emanuel at his office and we worked out the details and price. Very happy to find a budget safari option where we could spend a few nights camping in tents in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater rim. One night there were giraffes right outside our tents. We shared the vehicle with 3 other safari goers and this only added to the experience. We had such a great group of folks from all over the world.
We saw the big 5 and so much more. The amount of wildlife in these Parks and Conservation areas is mind-boggling.
Our guide and driver, Charles, was laid back and calm and expertly got us into great positions to view the animals. It’s like he could see what was about to happen and manoeuvred our Landcruiser into the ideal viewing position.
The chef, another Emanuel, provided an abundance of tasty food three times a day. We were surprisingly hungry after full days of touring around and looked forward to each meal.
Emanuel met us at our hotel after the safari to have a chat and make sure we had a good time.
These guys are all pros. Highly recommend this small company.

best experience
I went to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Parks. The crater was a small company, and we were jointly toured with other tour companies in one car, but overall it was a great experience. We were able to see herds of wild lions, wildebeests, and zebras, and the guide shared the location of the animals and quickly took us there if there were any rare animals.

Wonderful experience ! We had a private safari and everything went so smooth. The driver is very experienced, the lodges are top notch and safe. We also got to see all the animals ( big 5 ✅ ). I really recommend Crater explorer.

hakuna matata
I had 5 days safari tour with Emanuel’s team. Including tarangire, serengeti, ngorongoro and lake manyara national parks. You can skip tarangire and lake manyara and you can spend more time on serengite and ngorongoro in my view. Because you can see all animals in serengeti and ngorongoro. And i will never forget two places where i stayed 3 nights; suricata boma lodge and ngorongoro ang’ata lodge. I started to miss there.
Briefly, everything went well but of course they need some improvements. First, please keep your beers cold :). In all operators, as far as i see, cars are little bit old. Yes roads are tough in deed but some cars need maintenance.
Our tour guides were perfect, they are really good drivers. Especially, with Pendeal. I can even go to space with him :).
At the end of the day I can recommend Crater Explorer to every one without doubt.
