3days budget safari
We have 3 days safari with first and last night in hotel.
Organisation was really good, we have all information with all the details about every single day, our guide John was always "hakuna matata" and really helpfull, thanks to him we saw and learnt so much. Food was really good (vegeterian no problem) When I will go back on safari again I will not have to search for any other company. i will go with Crater again.

Great Safari
I was lucky enough to go on a four day safari that proved to be absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable. This safari was an unforgettable adventure that far exceeded all my expectations.
Our journey began with a warm welcome from the safari team. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared interesting information about the wildlife and the surrounding area. The accommodation was comfortable and the evening meal was delicious.
In general, we observed the fascinating wildlife in their natural environment. We were lucky enough to see elephants, lions, giraffes and many other animals up close. The safari vehicles were perfectly equipped for wildlife viewing.

AMAZING!!!! I would give Crater Explorers 10 stars if I could. Our experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Emanuel had great communication with my husband to arrange the whole safari. We had transportation and accomodations set up for us with no issues. The safari was everything we could ask for and more. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable of everywhere we went, as well as all the animals. Every night's accomodations were perfect and the staff at every lodge was amazing and so friendly. The food was also good throughout the entire trip! Emanuel was even kind enough to meet with us after our safari to make sure everything went smoothly and we were satisfied. I highly highly recommend booking with Crater Explorers for an amazing and stress free safari experience! It was worth every penny we spent! Go boom your tour now!

Very good organization and communication.
Emmanuel was very responsive, professional and helpful in planning my trip.
And even if I had a limited time, I was able to do all the activities that I wanted to do thanks to Crater Explorer.
Everything went as planned, from the pick up at the airport, transfers to the accommodation and activities meeting points.
The safari in itself was amazing. I joined a great group and we saw lots of animals and beautiful landscape.
Camping in the wild was a great expererience and the food was delicious.
I also visited the Chemka hotsprings and Materuni waterfalls which were very beautiful and the coffee tour and local lunch were such a nice cultural experience.
I would definitely book with Crater Explorer again.

Despite being a small company without their own 4x4s, Emanuel's coordination with different drivers ensured a seamless safari to Tangarire, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro. Easy and safe
I participated in a group safari as single person, and it was great to be together with other people, sharing experiences. The safari was well organised and it was easy to communicate with Emanuel and the guide Simon. I can recommend Crater Explorer.

Wonderful safari experience, with brilliantly friendly guides
Great safari experience! Beautiful location, well organised. The guides were exceptionally friendly and pointed out animals, whilst also giving us a good background to the area. The food was great and made by the chef (stomach engineer) Emmanuel, who was a great addition to our trip.
We managed to see all of the big five, alongside staying in fabulous locations with beautiful views, right in the heart of the parks.
The only issue we had was on payment - we were asked to pay in cash (without prior warning) and then, when we naturally didn’t have such a large amount of dollars on us, we were made to pay 5% extra for using card, which was a significant sum of money.
Aside from that, it was a wonderful trip and we would fully recommend!
