Amazing experience!
Crater explorer agency is the best! The guides (John and Baraka) were amazing, they are really good with kids, and they have answer to any question about nature, animals, Tanzania and Tanzanian people. We also had chef (Emanuel) and the food was amazing, really delicious. We travelled with friends, both with two kids and Tanzanian people are really friendly.
We really recommend Crater explorer (Emanuel)!!!!!!!

Emanuel is very responsive and well organized.
The tour was well organized and Emanuel even customized the tour for our party of 6 for an additional fee.
Our guide, Jackson, was extremely resourceful and friendly. He knew some great, isolated spots in the busy Serengeti park.

Best ever solo experience
This was one of my best trips ever, and I have been travelling a lot! Everything worked to perfection: as a solo traveller, I was quite aprehensive about being left alone at pick-up places, of having a hard time with the culture etc. But, hey! Never felt better taken care of: everything quite timely; beautiful, comfortable and stylish lodges, very (very!!!!!!) nice staff, and little treats as surprises here and there.
Crater explorers staff and manager, ansante sana (thank you) for providing me with an unforgettable experience, and, Frank, you are simply the best guide!!! How come you know everything?

Great safari experience
This group experience was close to perfection. Emanuel was a great host, always in contact, before and during the safari. The tour guide who was in charge of the safari, Jackson, is a very experienced guide and very interesting person providing an unexpected and surprising safari overall experience showing us the big five and some of the most beautiful scenarios we’ve ever seen. The food was good and we were accompanied also by our personal cooker, Miron, making some local food and a one of a kind pizza!
We stayed the overnights at site camps sleeping in tents 2 of the nights, but Emanuel can provide superior accommodation if required.
Will surely return in the future

The Chef, Emanuel cooles so well. Our Tour Guide Frank was the lovliest Person, with so much knowledge about the animals and Their behaviour but also about Everything Else you could ask. He Took us to the best spots, where we were always one of the First ones with the best view. He Made this already amazing experience Even Better!

Great safari experience!
We loved our safari experience with Crater Explorer! We did 4 day, 3 nights safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire with budget camping. Our guide Frank was very skilled and shared us lots of interesting facts about the animals, local culture and nature. He could spot the animals from far away and drive us to just the right places for taking amazing pictures and videos. Also, we really enjoyed the delicious meals by our chef Emanuel. The accommondations were basic (just as you can expect from the budget-friendly version) but clean and nice. I can highly recommend this company for safari.

Wonderful Safari Tour!
We had the best time on our safari trip with Crater Explorers! Emanuel was very helpful in coordinating our trip, and he answered all of our questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. We felt confident that we would have a good experience even before it started. The accommodations were fantastic! We stayed at a lodge and a tented camp, and they both felt luxurious. Emanuel, the chef, prepared amazing food for us and we never went hungry. We always looked forward to his meals! Frank, our tour guide, made the safari so memorable. He knew all the good spots in the park, and his knowledge about the animals and their behaviors and habitats really elevated an already amazing experience. I will never forget how Frank skillfully tracked a leopard so we could see it up close. We would highly recommend Crater Explorers, and if you’re lucky enough to have Frank and Emanuel on the trip, you will be guaranteed a wonderful time.

Excellent tour operator from start to finish
Absolutely fantastic safari. Emmanuel was so great at communicating with us throughout the trip and the safari was better than I ever could have imagined. Our Driver Mike knew all the best spots and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this company.

Best tour ever!!
Great safari saw all of the big five and many other animals. Super friendly staff and great communication. Amazing value for money with an airport pick up and drop off as well as hotel accommodation before and after the safari.
