Our trip with crater explorer was really nice and very well organized!
The booking itself was super easy. When we arrived in Arusha, Emanuel was already waiting for us and explained all the details. We did a 3 day-Safari-Tour (Ngoro Nogoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara) and had every day a new guide. All of them were super friendly and did share a lot of interesting information about the flora and fauna. While the lunch still has potential to improve (a bit undiversified) the accommodations during safari were amazing too. The marera lodge and the farm of dreams were exceptional. After the safari we booked a tour to the materuni waterfalls which was organized by Emanuel as well. We can really recommend this tour as well, because the landscape is absolutely amazing and the coffee experience was fun too.
In conclusion we can say anybody connected to crater explorer (emanuel himself, guides, drivers, etc.) was very friendly, flexible and well organized at any time.

A perfect safari
I just finished a 4 days safari with Crater Explorer Tours, and really enjoyed.
The Serengeti was really a dream, and the camps were basic but a good wilderness experience as wild animals can walk in the tent by night.
I also have to thank the agency, Emanuel the manager, and Frank the guide / driver.
Everything was serious and well organized.
Frank has a great knowledge of the animals, and found for us the big five.
Emanuel also planned a tour for us after the safari, to go to beautiful hot springs before our flight.
I recommend this agency!

Reliable Tour Operator
We booked a 5 day safari camping tour and everything was very well organized.
Emanuel picked us up at the airport and gave us a indepth briefing about the upcoming days at the hotel. The safari was well organized. Our guide, Aaron, was very experienced and our passionate chef, Nathanael (he is the best!), cooked very delicious food. The safari car was well equipped with cozy seats, a fridge with cool drinks, plugs to charge the smartphone and WiFi. For us it was a unique experience where we met many great people and got to expierince the beautiful wilderness of Africa. It was definitely worth the price.

Thank you very much for very kindness
The owner, Mr. Emmanuel, helped me a lot as I was a woman traveling alone and didn't know what to expect in Africa.
He is a very nice and caring person and I enjoyed the safari tour with ease.
Our members who joined with me also enjoyed the tour very much, thank you very much.
My friend also said that Emmanuel is a very nice person.
If I have a chance to visit Tanzania again, please I’d love to attend again.

Great experience!
We did the 3 days camping safari, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Emanuel was great, he responded to my emails within 10mins. The driver and guide Frank was amazing. He studied flora & fauna and know everything what we asked. He also spotted every animal while driving. The food was like 5 stars hotel.
Recommend!!

He can do anything! everything!!!
I had Serengeti 4nights 5days tour from 4th Dec. It was incredable time!!
I was solo traveler, there was no problem. We could see big 4(except the Panther, lazy thing....) and a lot of others.
There was no time for getting board, alwasy fun and excited. Sleeping was good eventhough met giant elephant when I went to the toliet ;)
Food was alwasy good, like rastaurant, you can enjoy african cuisines. Compare to other tours, budget was also affordable than quality.
I strongly recommand this tour if you have plan to Serengeti!

Real Akuna Matata safari
I chose this safari because of the positive reviews. I can confirm they are all true and you can trust it. Me and my wife, we decided to go for the 3 days safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. They took care of us from the moment we got it touch and helped me solving doubts, questions and things prior, during and after the safari. They pick you up from the airport and drive you to the hotel (night before and after the safari included, also nice breakfast). Emmanuel (the owner) meets you at the hotel on your arrival and explains everything about the safari. Next day, Pascal (the driver - guide) and Emmanuel (the chef) pick you up for the safari. They are simply amazing. Pascal is very nice and has a big knowledge about everything (also a good English). Emmanuel is a lovely chef, you will be surprise with the food, I promise.
Lovely time if you are alone, in a couple or in a family. We got to know a group of 4 different people from different nationalities and it was all fun. We enjoyed a lot together finding the animals and visiting this lovely side of the world.
100% recommended. They will solve any potential issue you could have. They really care.

Crater tours was fantastic
Our driver was Pascal and our cook Emmanuel. From the minute we were picked up from the airport till the end of our tour we were greeted with kindness and respect. They made it their mission to make our trip memorable. We stayed in a hotel far nicer than I expected when picked up from the airport and then the next morning we were picked up at 7.30 for our drive to the Serengeti by Pascal and Emmanuel. Pascal was so much fun as our driver, very knowledgeable and went over and above to help us find as much animals as possible and every day we had like a 5 course meal of very delicious food cooked by the talented cook Emmanuel. We opted for the 2 night 3 day tented accommodation and they were surprisingly comfortable but please believe them when they tell you to dress warmly,it really does get cold at night!! Warning if you are scared of heights like me close your eyes when going up into the serengeti and into the Ngorongoro crater ,it's really steep but so worth it when you get in..first night we slept with hyena,s as our back ground noise and 2nd night we actually had a elephant and zebra,s in and around our tents
