Great Communication And Experience
The safari experience was very low stress. Emmanuel was super communicative during the booking process and we were the first ones picked up at the airport. The hotels were new and clean before and after the safari. On the actual safari, we had a very professional driver with 20 years experience, and an excellent chef who cooked three meals a day. We chose to tent/lodge which was an awesome option. Seeing zebras walk around the tents at night and the giraffes behind the dining hall was awesome. There are some massive companies in the safari business, but Emmanuel gave us a great experience.

Exceptional
We had a wonderful time ! Our guide, David, was great and way too nice. He was very patient and full of information.
Food was amazing thanks to our amazing chef.
Emmanuel was super helpful, got us rides from and to the airport. He even showed us around Arusha which as a plus we weren’t expecting.
Our 4 day safari was beyond our expectations, truly the experience of a lifetime.

Safari 4 days (serengeti/Tarangire/ngorongor) lodge and camp site.
We are a groupe of 6 friends Ho dreamed of doing a safari for so long.
We choose crater explorer for our first African safari ! We were not at all disappointed but rather very pleased.
Emmanuel is a very good host who listened and met everything we asked.
He met us at the airport drove us to our hôtel in arusha and spent the hole day with us.
He gives very good advices for where to buy things etc.
The day after we met our guide david. A very good human being who knows his ways around the parks. He took us to serengeti, Tarangire and ngorongoro. He gave us very good informations along the way and toke good care of us. Frankly we couldn’t ask for a better guide.
The food was delicious, we had some home cooked meals even in the wilderness.
We stayed at marrera mountain view lodge for our first night than seronera wild life and simba camp. Frankly, the lodges exceeded our expectations!
I highly recommend crater explorer for a safari for their hospitality, good price and good humour.
Well organized
We lived with Crater Explorer Tours and Safaris the most magical experience of our lives.
Everything was well organized, sleeping in the tents in the camps in the middle of the animals was incredible, the guide was great and the chef prepared very good dishes for us.
We saw a lot of animals in 3 days, much more than we could have imagined.
I recommend 100%, very good value for money!

Tanzania and its nature was great but we had some bad experience with tour guys
First of all, I loved Tanzania and everything I saw and I experienced during my trip. You can book any tours via here (I mean this website not th tour company) its really perfect. I had 4 days tour but I think 2 or 3 days would be really enough. Don’t waste your money and days for extra 1-2 day.
Our first day, our car broken and they gave us back up car. It was full of dust, we couldn’t even breathe. Also, with new car we had a new driver for that day. He driven car so fast (our speed was 3 times more then the others). Even our warning he just drive fast and it wasn’t safe. After the arriving camp site we waited more then 3 hours to eat and get into our tent. Every other groups ate their dinner and went to their tent and we just waited outside with nothing (no food, no tent, not even chair we just waited ). Anyway we asked where is our tents and where is our driver to every responsible person over there and they told us oh he will come in 30 mins every time. And after 3-4 hours they gave us tent which I should have my own tent but I shared with stranger. At midnight they told us they never talked with driver -they said they talked with him and he will come in 30 min severel times- and they told us to go to sleep. Also we didn’t have morning plan because we didn’t have driver. In the afternoon our driver came but we had same problems everyday. Our car broken 3 times, no body try to explain anything, we always went to campsite latest and started to tour every morning latest. It was really bad experience in that way.
PS: You can buy cheapest tour for same program because people in my group we all bought same tour from different operators. For the same tour we paid different amounts (there was a 250 dollars difference me and a guy). So with the over 4 stars operator you can choose cheaper one

Superb company
We booked a 5 day/4 night safari after friends recommended the trip to us.
From start to finish, Emanuel has been faultless and couldn't do enough for us. We were picked up from the airport and dropped at our hotel in Arusha that night. The next morning, we were collected from the hotel and met up with the rest of the group. The driver was friendly, welcoming and we felt at ease.
The safari itself was fabulous and we saw lots of animals which created many memories. The drivers were more than happy to stop for as long as we wanted to see the animals and they also talked on radios to each other to so that we didn't miss any opportunities.
We chose to stay in the lodges instead of camping which were all perfect and even better than we had hoped for. At one lodge in the Serengeti, there were elephants roaming around freely all night and were still there in the morning!
The meals provided (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were all delicious and the chef cooked a variety of different options. Emanuel also sorted gluten free options for myself which was a bonus and he also let all the lodges and drivers know about it so there was no risk of being unwell.
Emanuel was always at the end of the phone whenever we had questions and nothing was too much trouble for him.
He even came to our hotel on our final night to check we were happy with the safari experience - a lovely touch which not many companies would bother doing.
We wouldn't hesitate to book again with Crater Explorer if we wanted another safari experience.

An excellent choice
Choosing an agency for a safari in Tanzania was not easy. There were hundreds of them offering the most diverse safaris, each with different locations, accommodation, duration, meals, etc. Fortunately, after a lot of research, I ended up finding Crater Explorer Tours & Safaris, based in Arusha. There were dozens of emails and WhatsApp messages exchanged, until we arrived at a script that met my desires and needs. And always promptly answered by its owner, Mr. Emanuel. The price was one of the best I found, with 5 full days of safaris, in Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park, with good hotels and full meals, which even received praise from other tourists who saw them. With the exception of the rhinos, we saw every animal possible, including a solitary tortoise walking through the savannah. Transfers to and from Arusha airport were included. With the cancellation of my flight to Dar es Salam, which would take place in the afternoon, my flight was rescheduled to 5 am, and, without any problems or charge for it, Mr. Emanuel took us to the airport at 2 am. He also made efforts to try to find space on other flights. Other positives: the safari car, very well maintained and equipped, and our guide, Frank, very well prepared to talk about the animals, the geological formations, the savannah, etc. Attentive and very patient. I was impressed by his eagle vision. Sometimes I stopped the car and watched. We didn't see anything, but he pointed and said: lions, elephants..... . We took the binoculars and there they were. As our safari was private, we were just the 2 people, which was also a benefit, as we decided when to stop and when to leave. In short: I was very pleased and happy to have found Crater Explorer Tours, which allowed everything to go well on this trip that was one of the most spectacular of my life. Thank you Mr. Emanuel and Mr. Frank.
